Chapter 44
TL-Mechatronic
Nina pointed out the inaccuracy in Raja’s movements with a loud voice.
“You widely brandished your sword because you’re too worked up. Even if you’ve just finished your basic training, if the lower half of your body is weak, the sword won’t come out cleanly. Wrist. Wrist. Focus on your wrist.”
As Raja was finally stretched out in the ground, Nina poked him several times with the training sword.
“Hey. Are you dead? Are you still alive? Oh, you’re just fine.”
Raja groaned.
Charlotte, who was watching Nina, also stabbed Raja with a sword. Raja tried to shake her hand and said, “Oh, come on!” but his hand fell helplessly because he didn’t have any more strength to do so.
Kell tilted his head, looking sideways at Charlotte
‘Is she more comfortable with those types like Raja?’
Nina looked at Charlotte and kell alternately.
“Next?”
Charlotte glittered her eyes but soon became sullen and said.
“I still have a little bit more left to do.”
“Okay.”
Kell raised his hand.
“I’m done, ma’am.”
“Okay, come on.”
When Kell saw the Commander throwing a refreshing smile, he felt chills again and grabbed his training sword with both hands.
After a while, kell was pressed to the floor like a jellyfish on the ground. Charlotte then rushed in, but she was the same. Nina smiled when she saw the three. All three have similar hair tones.
Light purple (Raja) and light pink (Kell). Beige (Charlotte).
Of all the new members, these three were the best, and these three were the most eager. Nina turned to the rest of the members.
“Everyone should also quickly finish their basic training. If you can’t finish, you’ll have to get individual training from me again.”
Everyone was frightened by Nina’s words and speeded up the training, and Nina walked in between and corrected their wrong posture. When Jean changed into a training suit and came out with a cold expression, everyone was already exhausted and had collapsed.
Nina tapped him on the shoulder with a sword and smiled back at Jean.
“Then, the vice-commander will show us a special class.”
This time, because Nina had a Buckler (a small shield), everyone pulled themselves up and stood up to watch their training Raja looked at the two who’s facing each other and quietly said.
“He’s going to personally demonstrate for us.”
Kell glanced at Raja and saw his eyes full of admiration. Kell laughed.
“Right. Unless you’re a lower class knight, it’ll be difficult to learn under someone this talented.”
Isn’t he the same?
It was the first time he was taught this much by such a talented person.
Unless you’re a Grandmaster in swordsmanship or a low-class knight, other orders only recruit talented, people that they can use right away. Even if he had a chance to learn, he rarely learned directly from the leader. Most of the time, he learned beyond the shoulders of a knight who he followed and trained for several years, or paid for a swordsmanship teacher. But he didn’t know that he would get to learn like this as he got older.
Charlotte murmured in a small voice.
“Dazzling…”
Kell looked at her with a look with a gaze that said, “What did you say?” but Charlotte didn’t even notice his gaze. Her cheeks were red with excitement and her eyes were glistening while fixed on the Commander. ‘Wow…….!
These two seem to have fallen in love with the leader. Kell shifted his gaze to the Commander and the Vice Commander.
The sword wielded by the Vice, who is as big as a bear, was lightly avoided, as if Nina had no weight in her body. Then she used the buckler and with a twist, bounced the sword.
‘Is she even human?’
People are innately afraid to get hurt. Once you feel that you are going to be cut or stabbed by a sword, you will unconsciously flinch and step back. But the Commander seemed to be a person without such fear.
She was really avoiding the sword by a hair’s length. Talent is talent. But it is impossible to do this much without a lot of courage.
Eventually, the training ended with the victory of the Commander.
Kell only realized that he was clenching his fists after taking a long breath. His hands were shaking. He clenched his fist and sighed. Now he thinks he’s not in a position to suggest that Raja and Charlotte are too infatuated with the Commander.
“Do the three of you still have strength?”
As Nina approached, kell was about to jump out of his seat, but his knees were weak and reeling. Nina held him by the arm.
Kell felt his heart beating strangely by the unwavering, strength, feeling his heart leaning with admiration to her.
Then he stood right away.
“Sorry, ma’am.”
“No, it’s okay.”
Kell smiled awkwardly, feeling the sharp gaze of Charlotte. She and Raja also got up quickly from their seats.
“Have any of the three of you experienced working as an escort?”
At Nina’s question, the three looked at each other’s faces. Then after a while, Kell cautiously raised his hand.
“Are you talking about an escort knight?”
“Yes.”
Kell hesitated for a moment at Nina’s questions and said.
“Please allow me to speak.”
“Go on.”
“I don’t think there are any of us who are of the same rank as an Escort Knight.”
Escort Knight.
A Knight that should always be beside and the closest with the person they’re guarding and protecting.
It is not for no reason that the Royal Family’s Imperial Knight’s Order was called “Royal Guards’. As many people believe that loyalty comes from lineage, it is necessary that you must possess both high-ranking family and remarkable skills to become a royal guard.
However, kell was extremely cautious as this remark was enough to hurt the pride of the Duke’s family and the Head of the Dark Knights.
When his words were over, Raja’s face hardened and Charlotte glanced slightly.
But Nina answered calmly, saying, “Oh, I thought so.” Kell blushed without even realizing it. Nina laughed at his expression.
“What? Did you think I couldn’t tell that apart?”
“No, it’s not that.”
Nina slightly raised her chin to him as if urging him to say more, but Kell couldn’t speak further and just shut up. She laughed and said,
“Then I have no choice but to train you. The three of you, can you all keep up with more personal training?”
At Nina’s words, Charlotte raised her head like a colt who saw a carrot shaking in front of her eyes. “Of course!” (Charlotte)
“It’s possible.” (Kell)
“It’s an honor.”
Of course, the last remark belonged to Raja.
Nina nodded and said, “I’ll call you later.”
When she approached the vice commander and said, something, Charlotte mumbled again as she saw the vice commander get up annoyed. “I wish I was that person.”
Kell held back the question of ‘Which one?’ as he tried to come up with the answer reflexively. He rubbed his sweaty forehead and his pink bangs with his fingertips which were hung with sweat drops.
“I’m going to wash up.”
He added.
“I don’t like to be sweating when the Commander calls
me.”
At that, Charlotte and Raja quickly followed him. Kell grinned.
He thinks he knows how to handle them now.
.
.
Nina took a cool shower, changed into neat clothes, and devoted herself to work.
Because buttons are handmade luxury items, most of the people here are dressed in hand-knitted blouses and pants or skirts. Those of better living wore one more short tunic on top.
Nina’s outfit was like that. It was just a tunic with expensive fabric.
The buttons were all raged from the capital. There, decorative buttons, jackets, coats, and vests were popular. And of course, they just put a bunch of gold and silver buttons on the tunic.
In simple words, uniforms were expensive.
However, it’s also not good to be thrifty with money.
It’s black from top to bottom. If you’ll just add a hat right now, it would be…….
Nina blinked. “So it turns out that uniforms in this world don’t have a hat yet. Let us add a hat to our robes.
Everyone feels shy when they see the Dark Knights. They swallow their breath, and it makes them anxious because they want to imitate our clothes.
The fame one gets from appearance cannot be ignored, Nina thought for a moment and noticed a knock.
“Come in.”
Unexpectedly, it was Kirill. She, who rarely comes out of the lab, was there, so Nina got up from her seat. “Kirill? What’s going on? Did something happen in the lab?”
“Do you think I always cause explosions?”
“If not, did you fight Randell?”
Kirill laughed.
“I’m past the age to fight a kid.”
When she shook her hand, a diamond-shaped jewel with geometric patterns appeared.
It looked like a pendulum. Nina opened her eyes in surprise. “This……. Didn’t Randell have a similar thing back then? Something like a celestial sphere floating in the sky.”
Sword and Buckler.
