Chapter 47
TL-Mechatronic
Whispering, Nina’s voice got smaller. Adrian slightly opened his lips as if to speak, but soon decided against
Nina laughed.
“Come on, tell me.”
“What.”
“You have to say what you want to say.” “I’ll do it later.”
“We don’t know when ‘later’ is going to take place. No, say it now.”
“Please do it when I’m not around, god.” (jean)
With Jean’s big sigh, Nina smiled and moved away from Adrian.
“Why? Does Jean want to ask the young master too if he has something to say? Try it, try it.”
“I’d like to ask you to keep your distance, ma’am.”
Jean grabbed her by the shoulder and gently pushed her away, Nina was pushed away with a smile,
She looked back at Adrian and said.
“Then I’ll go get changed, Your Highness.”
“I will allow you to leave.”
Nina crossed her arms, bent down, and headed to the sleeping quarters with Jean.
After changing into the uniform in a flash, she combed her hair again and tied it up. Then she opened the window and ran down.
Straight down was the fastest way. Jean, who was coming out to the front door, was surprised by Nina’s sudden landing. Without looking back at her, Adrian said.
“Nina, use the front door.”
“Yes, yes. I’ll be careful next time.”
Nina stood behind Adrian in a relaxed position,
Soon, sounds from Sir Louis and his party crossing the gate could be heard.
A unicorn’s hoof sounds lighter than a normal horse’s hoofs.
I could see Ms. Pocco sitting in front of Sir Louis with a stiff expression on her face. Usually, riding with another person on normal horses would be too much at some point, but for the unicorns, it was just like a walk in the park.
“Why does Ms. Pocco look so nervous?”
Maintaining the dignified expression Nina had created, she whispered very lightly. “It’s her first time riding a horse.”
At Adrian’s words, Jean whispered very quietly, “Really?” Adrian replied briefly, “Yes.”
Then the unicorn stopped, and after Louis got off the horse, he escorted Ms. Pocco down. Nina nodded deeply inside because she could see Pocco’s cheeks turning slightly red.
Louis, who always talks softly with a gentle smile, and with his lustrous light-brown, long hair, seemed to have impersonated those Knights from the Fairy Tale Books that ladies love to read.
If the maids working in the castle were blushing, eight out of ten, it was because of Sir Louis.
Even if the other person was a dishwasher maid from the kitchen, Louis would always treat the person as if
he were dealing with a Lady, so it was natural that he was popular.
Nina or Jean would uselessly often say, ‘I can’t imagine Louis, not being a knight.’ And rather than calling him the title ‘General Manager’ they could not help but call him “Sir Louis.”
It was not an incorrect title, because even though he was not the Vice Commander of the Dark Knights anymore, he was still a knight of the Order.
Pocco’s eyes went to Adrian and Nina.
After raising her hands in the unique greetings of the Kingdom of Lency, Pocco said. “Nice to see you again, Dame Nina.”
“Nice to see you, too.”
Nina lightly put her hand on her right chest and then released it.
She told the butler, who was standing awkwardly next to her, to guide Pocco to her room, and let her inside, the castle first.
“Sir Louis, thank you for your hard work.”
Louis smiled softly at Nina’s words of gratitude,
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Violet forest so I’ve had more time to reminisce than to suffer. And, Commander.”
“Yes.”
“You shouldn’t walk around dressed like that. Did you catch a cold?”
At that moment, Nina looked down at her outfit, raised her head, and whispered softly to Louis.
“Did you see me?”
“I should always know if there’s an intruder in where His Excellency, the Duke is at, right?”
Louis’s smile and voice were soft as always, but the meaning of his words was bitter.
If one were to say it in Jean’s way of talking, ‘Did you think I wouldn’t know? Do you take me for a fool?’ it would be like that, but Louis had a gentle way of saying things.
However, Nina should not be fooled by that gentleness so she quickly apologized, “Sorry.”
“And?”
When Louis asked for the rest, Nina decided that he wasn’t angry enough to open his eyes, and bowed her head.
“I will be careful in the future.”
“Good.”
Only after Louis smiled did Nina step forward and send orders to the soldiers who he had gone with him. After finally seeing Louis’s smile, Nina turned around with confidence.
As the servants took the unicorns away and carried the luggage, she glanced at the door.
Louis even asked, “Did you prepare a surprise party?” Nina sighed and paused before Adrian and Louis, as they were about to enter the castle.
“Oh, I shouldn’t open the door like this.” “Is there a problem?” When Louis asked, Nina pouted her lips and grinned.
“I was going to surprise those who were coming back, but I wish I had more time to prepare, but it can’t be helped.”
She bent down, opening the front door.
Despite Nina’s exaggerated remarks, Jean stretched his shoulders proudly. He hoped that Adrian and Louis
would be surprised to see the results of Nina, himself, and the servants’ hard work.
Adrian and Louis glanced at each other once and walked into the front door.
Adrian stopped his foot at the entrance.
Louis let out a small exclamation.
“I think I’ve been out for quite a while.”
At Louis’s words, Nina raised her chin, saying, “Ahem.” “The atmosphere has completely changed. I only thought it was an old castle…”
Louis blurred the end of his words.
The impression feels completely different. Rather, it reminded him of the ancient fortresses of Yara that were mentioned in old poems.
Clean, neat and cozy…
The decorations he saw for the first time were not too much or lacking in any way, and the candlestick on the walls was glossy as if to show how hard they were polished.
The tapestry on the wall was also new. A tapestry suitable for a lovely, bright, and sunny spring day was hanging with pride.
Although there are decorations that seem to have been ancient relics, they blended in with the clean interior, giving off a noble atmosphere.
“You must have had a hard time.” At Louis’s words, Nina humbly bowed, saying, “I got a lot of help from Grand Sage Randell.”
Jean patted her on the shoulder and said.
“But the Sage didn’t even lift a finger to move the furniture.” “He cleaned it.”
At Nina’s words, Louis said with a strange face, “Clean? A Sage, cleaning?” He asked.
“It’s a long story,” Nina said to the two.
“You are both tired, so for now change your clothes and wash up. I’ll tell them to prepare a light meal. Butler.”
The butler came quickly at Nina’s call.
“Please prepare a meal.”
“Yes. Shall I also order hot water for the bath?”
“Yes.”
“Understood.”
When the servant stepped down, Nina asked playfully
“Then should I help you take a bath, Young Master?”
Adrian replied while looking at Nina’s face.
“Okay.”
“Yes!”
Nina excitedly followed Adrian’s back, and Jean said silly, “Huh, uh?”
Seeing Jean’s reaction, Louis said.
“I’d like to hear the backstory of all this. Of course, Dame Nina will talk about it later, but there’s nothing bad listening to it in advance.”
“No, wait, is that okay?”
“What are you talking about?”
At Louis’s words, Jean grunts and makes a face that says, ‘No, just, that. that! Can’t you even see it?’
Louis replied with a gentle smile.
“It seems that the vice commander still doesn’t know his Lord well. Now, let’s go in quickly.
Jean was looking upstairs with a worried face and was led to the room by Louis.
