Chapter 182 - Holy Continent

The Great Castle of the Three Leaders and Elders, the Capital of the Holy Continent.

Inside a castle, three people were standing in front of an altar. There were statues of various entities on the altar. However, it wasn't a normal statue as there was a godly aura emitting from it.

One of the Holy Continent's three leaders was an old man with a white beard who still had the vigor of a young man.

"We are preparing the transportation between the two-Dot Continent," the old man said.

"Don't make it sound like a bad name. You are not worthy of making names." A statue of a man with a sword responded with a glow of light that came after a voice resounded.

"Geekh! Forgive me, My Lord.. I wasn't actually ignorant of the name of that continent." the old man becomes shy about what he just did.

'Damn. Why do continents not have names? ' he cried inwardly.

"It's the Eastern Continent for you."

"Yes."

"Then, what do you think will happen if you go to the Eastern Continent? Was the information sufficient for your expedition?" the statue asked.

"Well, if you make a sound of it. We are still clueless about things. You said that we must be careful with the Eastern Continent since there are 3 sins on that continent, right?"

But just as it sounded, the entity behind the statue saw it as stupid.

"Ugh," he groaned, then continued to talk. "Why was this continent chosen to become the Holy Continent? All of you are stupid."

The old man was as if struck by lightning, and he widened his eyes. For a few seconds, he was silent, but after a while, he laughed.

"Come on, My Lord. You are being obnoxious towards your subject. Please don't be like that." the old man said, with his hands swaying.

"Tsk. If I really can do it, I will retract the contract we made. You are strong, but you don't think wisely. Are you confident because your continent can make a contract with gods and spirits? Power is not everything, " the statue scolded.

The content was intended for the continent itself. However, the statue could only complain about it in front of him. Even if he tries to retract the contract, it's impossible since conditions are needed. And if not only for the continent's being unique among other continents, he would choose some from this continent.

However, since this person, the old man was someone who was charismatic and strong, he thought it was a wise choice to have a contract with him.

But he was wrong. Everything was wrong. The 'gods' couldn't depend on these people.

"Sighs... Call Marsiana's subject. I will try to talk to her to have some reasonable talk." the statue ordered, but somehow, the old man just stared at him.

"What? Move now!"

"My Lord, why would you talk to her? Am I not enough?"

"Shut the trap! Here we are with your childish and mischievous attitude. You are the oldest leader, yet you act like the youngest."

"Cut the scolding, My Lord. I am mature enough to be like this. Eventually, when they get old, they will realize that being serious every time is not better for their health." the old man said, with his eyes closed, as if telling a noteworthy story.

"Just call her!"

After a few minutes.

'That bastard...'

The statue became more impatient as he had already waited a few minutes for the subject of Marsiana, Goddess of Message, to arrive.

'He didn't call that girl? Where is she? I swear, I will scold him again. He's wasting my time.'

Within a few seconds, the statue heard footsteps from the hallway.

"Finally."

A person approached the statue, with her long silky platinum hair. She was wearing a robe like a priestess. However, her aura doesn't tell that she's one.

Finally, after taking the last step, she stopped in front of the statue.

"God of Sword, why do you waste your time here in this crappy world?" the lady said as soon she took her last step.

"Crappy? Aren't you being disrespectful to one of the founders of the world?" the statue retorted.

"Oh! Forgive me. Then, how about I rephrase it? Why do you always want to check things? Other gods and guardians aren't like you. Why are you different?"

"My purpose of calling you here was not to talk about my sentiments. I want to ask for the report of the ship you'll use to travel to the East." the statue becomes straightforward.

The lady, who was listening before him, just sighed.

"I guess it's no use to buy time. God of Sword, the continent is skeptical about our decisions. That's why we can't keep up with the pace that you ordered."

The already stiff statue stiffens even more after hearing it. What he just heard was something horrid.

"Tsk. Those bastards don't see dimensional chaos as threatful. They are all stupid. Even though the echelons have already made a warning to help, they still keep their heads thick and hard. "

After some venting words, the lady speaks up.

"Don't worry about it, God of Sword. We will surely bring proper men to help the chosen child... But there's still a problem. The ship is lacking a blessing from the god of speed. If that is the case, we will reach there in half the time of the initial plan."

"Don't worry. I am talking to him. He'll consider my request." the statue answered.

"I see. That's better." the lady sighed and, after a few seconds, her aura started changing back into a more soft and light aura.

"Is that phenomenon still happening to you? Or you are really just a pushover whose attitude can be easily influenced, " the statue said.

"Argh... I don't know how to say this, but it really is like that. My aura changes if there are things that bother me. I am asking for help from my goddess but still haven't received one. Maybe this will never be fixed." the lady said with a slight dispirited tone behind her words.

"Okay... So let's stop right here. I'm already at the limit, so be sure to follow the plan. I will be coming back in half a year, so be sure that it will be done by that time."

"Yes, God of Sword."

"Also, if you come with the convoy, be sure to leave some trustworthy people on the continent. We don't know when those lowly dark gods will attack again. The war wasn't done within our own side, so if things might go unbearable, be sure to summon one of my men. Tell that to that foolish subject of mine."

"Yes, I will surely tell it to him."
