Chapter 362 - Reunion ( 4 )

Reiji previously had 21 Sword Slaves.

There are five humans, three flying beasts, twelve minotaurs, and finally the Sentient Arcana, Szaaz.

However, after he was captured and lost connection to his slaves because of the Dark Elf King's interference, he didn't realize the deaths of his Sword Slaves.

Right now, he only has Shiori, the Man-Eating Eagle, and Szaaz. 

"Alright… You guys can return to your places first and make preparations. Let's meet somewhere in two days… Hmm, where do you think we should meet up?" Reiji asked as he wanted them to be prepared when they go to the Empire.

Although they might be able to find cities that can supply them as well, it is a lot better if they brought most of their supplies from the kingdom instead. 

"How about in our village instead? The Bhibra Village became a lot better now, Master. For some reason, there were no longer Beast Waves attacking us. It must be due to the Dark Elf King's interference. They have been capturing a lot of Evil Beasts lately." Mourad suggested. Since they are going north anyway, it's better to meet at their village instead.

"Eh? We don't have an idea where your village is…" Stella replied. 

Reiji was of course aware of it so he immediately spoke to resolve the problem.

"Oh, don't worry. I will let you know. I'll also look for decent Sword Slaves in these two days and have them guide you to the village. Right, I like you to buy some things for me as well. Aside from that, you guys don't have to worry about the weight of your baggage, I have the Void with me to carry some of your stuff."

"Ohh! Thank you, Master Reiji." Imane said thinking of the various clothes she didn't want to leave. 

"Right, I actually have a collection of good swords. They're quite heavy I can't just leave them here." Diether said recalling the gifts he received after completing his Knighthood. 

After thinking about this, he also recalled Calliope… She must've been worriedly waiting for him to return.

'Haa~ Should I ask Master if I can bring her with me?' Diether mused but he immediately canceled the idea. It's better to ask Calliope what she thinks about it first before asking his Master. After all, the tough Lady may not like the idea of going to the Enetha Empire with him. 

"Haha… I also have so many Magic Items in my room." Rufus laughed recalling the bunch of items he personally made when he wanted to pass some time. 

As someone who spent several years in the Tower, Rufus has the habit of tinkering whenever he has some free time. Not only will it help his mind to focus, but it will also help him earn a lot of money when he decided to sell them in the market. 

After a few more minutes, everyone started going back. Diether's group was also accompanied by the three Sentient Arcana to ensure that they won't be found by the Dark Elves in case they are still being chased. 

As for the Half-Imps. They knew this place a lot better and were confident with their stealthy skills. 

Well, they were trained to become members of the Cult after all. So they were used to these kinds of activities.

Finally, Reiji and Szaaz flew in a certain direction where Reiji felt the presence of the Dark Elves including Shiori and his Man-Eating Eagle.

It seems that she was found by the Dark Elves while she was moving with the eagle and was shot down.

"Szaaz, take care of the Dark Elves Magicians behind… I'll take care of the Warriors."

"Leave it to me."

Currently, there are eight Dark Elves Warrior and five Magicians in their sight. They are surrounding Shiori and the injured Man-Eating Eagle…

Luckily, they arrived in time and Shiori hasn't run out of Spiritual Energy yet. 

After seeing this, Reiji did not hesitate to use his favorite move against mobs. 

He immediately used his Cloning Technique as 10 other shinais appeared in the air. 

Then, like a bullet, they shot to the Dark Elves Warriors filled with Sword Aura as it attracted the Dark Elves' attention.

He needed to attract them like this since Shiori is already reaching her limit.

"We're under attack!"

"Ambush!"

"Raise your guard!"

The leader gave orders as they decided to parry the swords. However, this is what Reiji truly wanted as he triggered his other ability.

"Sword Explosion!"

Boom!

A series of explosions occurred as Reiji moved like a ghost to protect Shiori and the Man-Eating Eagle with his Mystical Energy…

Shiori understood the situation and hugged the eagle before she grabbed at the flying Shinai… She felt dizzy after experiencing the shockwaves caused by the explosion she's not physically injured at all.

"T-thank you for saving me, Master Reiji."

"Yeah… By the way, you still look the same… Why are you not aging? Didn't you mention before that you're a normal human and were just recruited by the Cult?" Reiji immediately asked without even looking at Szaaz's battle against the Magicians. 

As for the Warriors who were caught by the explosion, it's impossible for them to survive that now that he's a Legendary Rank Arcana with the title of Arcane Slayer. 

Apparently, he had killed too many Arcanists that he was gifted by such a title.

"Cough! Cough!" Shiori was surprised by the question. She didn't know whether she would feel proud or offended by his statement. 

Nevertheless, she still answered her Master.

"After you left, the Elders of the Half-Imps fed me a lot of unknown potions as thanks for saving their village. Since the others have died and you're missing, they told me that it's the reward for our help. Anyway, I remained within 15 kilometers away from you so they would normally bring me supplies. They have been really helpful."

Shiori replied as she recalled the kind elders of the Village. Well, considering the changes they brought, it's normal for them to be grateful for what her Master did for them.

Bam!

The Dark Elves' magicians dropped to the ground lifeless… They appear to have been poisoned by the Cursed Arcana. 

"I'm finished, Master… Oh, I think the two of them are injured, I would like to try healing them, is that alright, Master?" Szaaz suggested as it seems that he gained a new skill.

However, Reiji refused it as he spent instead spend a couple of his Skill Points to heal Shiori's internal injury and another three points to completely heal the Man-Eating Eagle.s

Szaaz could only complain in his heart for being distrusted by his Master.

"We need to leave this place.. Let's find some new companion in these two days…" Reiji said as he brought his Sword Slaves to the nearest jungle.
