~KYOMI~

There were multiple motorbikes parked right outside our home, blocking our entrance and preventing us from getting in.

But that wasn't what had everyone in the car on edge, the bikes belonged to the Clarkes'.

In fact, every one of Dante's brothers along with his father were standing in front of us.

And then I saw him, leaned up against our gate with a cigarette in his mouth was none other than Dante himself. His face looked calm but his shoulders were tensed giving away that he may not be as relaxed as he wanted us to think that he was.

My mother and I along with my sisters got out the vehicle following my father who had gotten out the moment he'd spotted the Clarkes'.

"Kevlar Clarke." My father growled as he glared at Dante's father. "What is the meaning of this?"

"May we discuss this inside?" Kevlar asked, his eyes seeming pleased at my father's distressed state. The look on his face made me feel sick, he was enjoying this, he liked the fact that my father was unhappy.

What hurt more than anything was knowing that I was the main reason behind all of this, I was the one who'd hurt my own father.

"You were never welcomed in my home before and you never will be." My father spat. "Whatever you have to say you can say it out here."

"I see." Kevlar stated. "I guess you do want our growing audience to hear everything then."

My father tensed at his words for there was indeed a growing audience as all of our neighbors were gathering to see what all the commotion was about.

"Go ahead and say what you have to say."

Kevlar quirked a brow at him. "I take it you've already seen all of the articles all over the web."

I stiffened at his words, my father's face was now red as he glared at Dante's father.

"Your point?" My father asked, his fists tightening at his sides.

"Well." Kevlar started. "Surely you aren't going to let your daughter's reputation go down the drain like that."

"That's for me to think about, I don't need your input on this matter."

"Really?" Kevlar asked my father. " For the way I see it, there is only one way you can save your daughter's reputation and that's by getting her married to my son."

Everyone gasped at his words, at least everyone from my family. Dante's side looked completely calm about the whole thing.

How could he even propose such a thing? A Palmer married to a Clarke?

That would never work out!
