40 Elemental Affinity

Care to explain what?" Wang Yazhu asked trying to sound as if nothing had happened.

"Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about, what reason do I have to even help you at all now? Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just seal you away forever!" Tie Zhu replied angrily, stunned that Wang Yazhu had even pretended like nothing had happened. Although he needed his help right now he couldn't let him know that he wanted his help.

"Okay, okay, I'll admit it. I'm not really the great God of righteousness and forgiveness, but in fact I am the almighty Tentacle God. Either way you should count yourself lucky since in the whole universe there are not many people who are more knowledgeable about cultivation than me." Wang Yazhu said after hearing Tie Zhu's threat.

He was actually shocked that Tie Zhu had somehow managed to regain his mind after losing his consciousness to his dragon soul, yet what shocked him more was that he had expectantly cultivated to the third step of Qi Condensation overnight.

Seeing that he had made such rapid progress he had already thrown out the idea of possessing Tie Zhu's body as not only would his Primordial dragon's beast core would be protecting him but he had actually started believing that it would not be impossible for Tie Zhu to reach the Divine Warrior realm. He had already been waiting for 2 billion years so another few thousand would be nothing. Furthermore he could get his revenge on Tie Zhu after he remade his body.

With this thought he had intended to properly guide Tie Zhu to progress to the Divine Warrior realm as quickly as possible.

"In fact especially in this entire world, there is no one better who can guide you than me. There is no one who will be able to give you any insight into the treasures in the spatial ring where there are even some artifacts in there that if used incorrectly could easily destroy that planet so if you want to try your luck go ahead. Furthermore there are incredibly powerful techniques that I know that only I am capable of teaching you that would be greatly beneficial for you." Wang Yazhu continued to speak truthfully.

When Tie Zhu heard Wang Yazhu speak such words he couldn't help but remain suspicious. The sudden change in attitude was just too large. However he could not completely refute what Wang Yazhu had to say as from what he understood from Bing Meifeng's explanations of cultivation on earth, Wang Yazhu was undoubtedly infinitely more powerful than anyone on Earth.

"Okay, I'll believe you this time, but if you try anything like what you did yesterday then I'll seal you away forever, and you can forget about me recreating your body." Tie Zhu replied after taking his time to think about his alternatives.

"Good, you won't have to worry about that again. Seeing that you have actually reached the 3rd step of Qi Condensation I think it's about time you start learning some techniques. Although your physical body has been strengthened significantly it makes no difference if you can't use power effectively. I think it's best if you first learn some elemental techniques as it will be able to better catch your opponents off guard, however we will have to first test what element you are best suited for." Wang Yazhu replied after hearing that Tie Zhu agreed, although he knew That Tie Zhu had a rainbow elemental beast core, everyone usually had a slightly greater affinity for a certain element. Because of that he still wanted to figure out which element Tie Zhu ha the most talent in as it would be easier for him to learn the techniques.

However at the same time he was thinking this he couldn't help but curse Tie Zhu in his mind as a meer teenager had actually threatened a great God like him. 'Ahhh, I'll get my revenge one day, you just wait!' he thought.

When Tie Zhu heard what Wang Yazhu said he was also excited to discover what techniques he would be able to learn. Although he knew that he could already use multiple elements he was still curious as to which element he would best suited for. His original thought was that it must have been fire, due to the threads of fire that he had absorbed earlier, and he was already imagining shooting intense balls of fire out of his hands that incinerated everything in its path.

As he was excitedly imaging how he would use such techniques he had only read about in novels and seen in movies Wang Yazhu suddenly spoke.

"To test which element will best suit you all you have to do is to input some of you spiritual essence into an elemental tracer. Luckily there should be a few in the spatial stone. It is a pitch black stone like object with 10 Sides." After searching around for the elemental tracer with Wang Yazhu's instruction it was not too long before he finally found them.

"So how will I know what element if best suited for me?" Tie Zhu suddenly asked right before inputting his spiritual essence.

"Each side represents an element that will light up with its respective element if you have a certain talent in that area. For example, a red light signifies fire, while blue would signify water. If by luck you manage to have an affinity for space, you would see a flickering grayish haze. Generally the brighter the face lights up the more talent you have in that area." Wang Yazhu said, while Tie Zhu nodded in eager anticipation.

Taking a deep breath, Tie Zhu nervously placed his hand on the elemental tracer before guiding some of his spiritual essence into it.

"BZZZZZZZZZ, HUMMMMMMM" As soon as the first trace of his spiritual essence entered the elemental tracer it began emitting a strange buzzing and humming noise before something unexpected happened.

Extremely dazzling bright lights actually suddenly appeared from all 10 surfaces of the elemental tracer. So much so that Tie Zhu's entire room was filled with blinding rainbow lights making it almost impossible for Tie Zhu to keep his eyes opened.

'....How can this be possible!' Wang Yazhu thought in complete shock. 'No, that's impossible. There must be something wrong with the elemental tracer!' he had to keep telling himself even though he knew such a possibility would be almost impossible as those were the highest quality tracers there were.

"Ah, what's happening. I can't see anything" Tie Zhu called out as he had to turn away from the tracer while covering his eyes.

"CRACK!" Suddenly a loud cracking noise filled the air as the dazzling colorful lights immediately dissipated. The elemental tracer had actually crumbled into thousands of pieces that lay motionlessly on Tie Zhu's bedroom floor.
