Katherine's ears are starting to bleed on the arguments of the council regarding on what they will do about Gregory and his North clan. It was nearly three hours to be exact when they started the meeting and up to now, they had no conclusion yet.

"Enough!?" Katherine shouted making the rest looked at her. "Make them slaves? Punish them using the whips? And worse, kill them? Are you all out of your minds? Are we one of them? Are we Sanguinarians to do those things to them?" Katherine repeated the words of the council. "Don't do unto others what you don't want others do unto you. We are not Sanguinarians. We don't kill without reasons. We are vampires who care for other vampires. If we kill them, if we make them slaves, if we punish them, there will be no difference between us and them." Katherine said making Serafino and the rest smiled. Thomas, together with the rest of the council, kept their silence because what Katherine have said is true.

"What are we going to do about them?" Serafino asked. "If you will allow me, I'm going to talk to Gregory again." Katherine said making Drake looked at her seriously. "He's dangerous." Drake said. "You can come if you want." Katherine said making Drake sighed. "What if he will not cooperate?" Thomas asked. "Don't worry about that. I can feel that Gregory is different from them." Katherine said. "Okay, we will trust you on this." Thomas said and Katherine nodded.

Finally, the council meeting ended but no one left because they were all invited for the feast that will happen tomorrow. They were ushered by Lazarus and Cassius to their respective rooms.

"Katherine, where are you staying?" Serafino asked before entering his own room. "Ahm, I'm in Drake's room, Paps." Katherine answered making Serafino looked at them alternately. "Look, I knew you are mates but..." Serafino said. "Oh, no, no, Paps. Actually, Drake is staying in that room." Katherine said pointing the room before Serafino's room. Drake looked at her with disbelief. "Oh, I see. That's good. Anyway, have a good night sleep, my princess." Serafino said giving her a kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight, Paps." Katherine said.

"You're kicking me out on my own room?" Drake asked with his raised brow. "I'm sorry but sleeping together when Paps is here is a big NO-NO." Katherine said. "But how about our..." Drake said but wasn't able to finish his words because Katherine covered his mouth with her hands. "Keep your mouth shut. Paps might hear you." Katherine said. "Hjhvhvkjcnvkjfhvkfjhjgfidw." Drake said. "What?" Katherine asked not understanding what Drake said. "But you promised me that we will continue our..." Drake wasn't able to finish his words again because the door of Serafino's room opened.

"I can't sleep. I can here your whispers. Go to your rooms and sleep." Serafino said with a little annoyance on his voice making the two walked towards their room. Serafino wanted to laugh on Drake's disappointed look.

The next day, everyone is busy preparing for the feast. The kitchen is bustling because of chefs busy cooking different cuisines. The dining hall is occupied with people arranging the table and chairs. The adults are busy with their respective chores but the kids are busy enjoying themselves playing different games and Katherine is with them. She wanted to help but no one accepted her offer and just told her to have fun with the kids who were pestering her from the time they saw her going outside the house.

"She really like kids." Serafino said. He's with Lazarus and Drake in the veranda watching Katherine. "She will be a great queen." Lazarus said. "And I will be her king." Drake said making Serafino and Lazarus smiled. "That ego of yours, son." Lazarus said. "Take good care of her, Drake. She's my world." Serafino said with a serious tone not removing his eyes on his granddaughter. "I will." Drake said. In a blink of an eye, Katherine vanished infront of their eyes making the three of them stood up and disappeared too.

"What happened?" Drake asked seeing Katherine in the woods not far from their place. "I thought I smelled someone here." Katherine said making Drake sniffed the air around. "I can't sense anybody here." Drake said. "Maybe, it's only in my imaginations. Maybe I smelled one of the kids." Katherine said. "Yeah, they actually stink after playing." Lazarus said. "Let's go back." Serafino said. Before leaving, Katherine looked back one more time. She's sure of what she smelled. He has the same scent with Travis but he's more dangerous and it's making her uncomfortable not for herself but for the kids and for Raeb clan.
