Movement, a shadow in the deeper darkness

You have only to forsake your divine soul

Body growing cold as mortal life and mortal dreams are fled

"Katherine, arena now!" Katherine furrowed her forehead hearing her mate's authorative voice. She just finished cleaning herself after a morning run. After changing into a new pair of clothes, she went out to meet the others.

"Where are those guys?" Katherine asked herself when she saw no one is at at the arena. She looked around and she can feel that there's something amiss going around. She walked towards the center of the arena then, suddenly someone attack her from behind. "What the f__k, Amber?" She cursed her friend because of her unexpected assault but Amber didn't answer her. "Amber?" Katherine called her friend's name but she only gave her a smirk. Again, Amber charges her with simultaneous kicks and punches that she easily dodges. "Amber, what is going on here?" Katherine asked again but her friend kept her silence.

Flashback...

After his conversation with Katherine, Gregory mind linked the rest of her friends including Drake. He really wanted to help even if that's making him a traitor to their clan. Helping Katherine will bring peace to their kind.

"I will not beat around the bush. I want to help." Gregory said making the girls and the boys looked at each other. Drake kept quite. "How can we trust you, you're a Sanguinarian. Once a Sanguinarian will always be a Sanguinarian." Athan said. "Yes, I am but I want to start anew for my people." Gregory said. "You killed many of our kind, what will be our reason to let you help us? What if you have a hidden agenda?" Amber asked. "Yes, I have a hidden agenda and that's to bring peace in my clan." Gregory said. "And how about your brothers? Blood is thicker than water you know." Alaric said. "They didn't treated me as one of them." Gregory said making the rest furrowed their foreheads. "What's your plan?" Everyone looked at Drake not believing what he said.

"You're letting him do what he wants?" Blake asked with a puzzled face. "He wants to help so let him be." Drake said. "How about Katherine?" Thana asked. "I will help because of her." Gregory said, the rest looked at Drake. "What?" Drake asked innocently. "You knew he likes her." Kieran said. "So?" Drake said making the rest raised their brow. "You're not jealous anymore?" Amdis asked making Drake smiled. "Yes, I like her but I know my limitations." Gregory said making the rest looked at him and Drake alternately.

"So, what's the plan?" Drake asked and all of them looked at Gregory waiting for his answer.

End...

"Ouch! This is hell!" Amber said mind linking everyone after Katherine sent her to the ground. "Amber, are you alright? I'm sorry but..." Katherine wasn't able to finish her words because she felt someone is standing behind her. When she turned back, she saw Athan smiling devilishly. Katherine rolled her eyes and instantly vanished right infront of Athan's face. "F__k! Where is she?" Athan said using the mind link. "Right behind you!" Amber shouted but before Athan could react, he was sent to the wall.

"Can anyone tell me what's happening here? Why are you attacking me? Why are you not talking to me? Is this some kind of a joke?" They can hear Katherine's irritation on her voice but still, no one utters a word. "So, nobody will tell me what's going on, huh?" Katherine said and she vanished into thin air.

Gregory gulped hearing Katherine's warning. "What will I do?" Gregory asked the person beside him. "It was your plan so bear the consequences." Drake said smirking. "But you agreed on it." Gregory said but both of them looked at the center of the arena when they both heard another thud. They saw that simultaneously Dawn, Thana, and Amdis were sent on the ground by none other than, Katherine which was already on her pissed mood. They both felt goosebumps when Katherine looked at their place then, vanished again. Before they could go on different directions, Katherine was already infront of them smiling evilly.

"Who's idea is this?" Katherine asked both Drake and Gregory. The two boys pointed at each other making Katherine rolled her eyes. "Again, who's idea is this?" Katherine repeated her question. At this point, the two men pointed on themselves. "You two are going to regret this!" Katherine shouted and the men infront of her vanished infront of her eyes. "Drake!? Gregory!?" Katherine shouted making the rest laughed because they knew that the two men ran away from her.
