Ash was sent off with loud cheers by the crowd and he returned to the waiting room, some of the trainers present in the waiting room congratulated him on his victory and he thanked them, he soon walked towards Julian who still has not had his call to battle yet.

Ash approached Julian and sat right next to him.

Ash "Did you watch my battle?"

Ash asked excitedly, no matter how successful Ash got he still looked up to Julian and saw him as his idol, he wanted to be like Julian, become a powerful undefeated champion.

Julian "I sure did, you did good"

Julian said while he kept his focus on the screen, right after Ash's bought was over, the next trainers were called instantly and the trainers who were called in were Julio, the guy who is cosplaying Julian, and a trainer named Carlos.

Julian got a little serious as he wanted to learn more about Julio, what is he really after, others might not see it but Julian could, this person is not normal.

Everything about him was similar to Julian, the way he walked, the way commanded his pokemons, the way he read his opponents, everything was similar to Julian.

By now Julian is convinced that something is wrong with this Julio, even his name is so similar to Julian's, just remove the 'an' and add 'o' to it.

Julian was also not the only one who noticed this, even his fiancées asked him about this and how similar Julio is to Julian except they were not attracted to him like they were attracted to Julian.

Ash "Is this Julio guy your long-lost brother?"

Julian "No he is not, he seems to be a copycat".

Julian said.

Ash "A copycat? So he is pretending to be you?"

He asked.

Julian "Sure you can say that. Now I want to see how close he is to the real thing or will he disappoint me?"

Julian said.

Ash "Cool, I want to battle him and see if he is really as strong as you"

Ash said and got excited as he wanted to see how he will fare against Julio, the Julian copycat.

Julian looked at Ash and back at Julio and wondered if Ash would win or not, the thought of these two battling excited Julian, Ash who has unlimited potential and one day become the strongest champion in Julian's opinion and on the other hand is a copy cat of the strongest trainer right now.

The battle has great potential and Julian can't help but get excited about it.

On the battlefield, Julio took his position on the battlefield and looked around the stadium, he saw people cheering for him with smiles on their faces, seeing so many people cheering for him suddenly put a creepy smile on his face but no one noticed it.

His face was hidden under the hood he is wearing, he is giggling creepily to himself and thinking of something only he knows.

Soon his opponent also entered the battlefield, Carlos entered and the crowd cheered for him, Carlos looked at the crowd and waved at them, and declared that he is going to win this battle loud and clear to everyone.

Just hearing his declaration hyped the crowd up even more and they couldn't wait to witness to see if Carlos either lives up to his declaration or will he crash and burn just like every other opponent that Julio has faced.

Carlos took his position on the battlefield and looked at his opponent and he finally noticed that something was off about his opponent, he was hiding his face under the hood but Carlos could tell that his opponent his giggling like a creep while hiding his face.

This gave Carlos a chill and he didn't want to talk to his opponent anymore, he thought that he would come here and rile up his opponent and offend him so he will get angry and make a mistake but seeing Julio's fucked up state he decided to not do so.

His opponent is already acting crazy, if he makes the man even crazier he doesn't know what will happen.

The referee also walked in and looked at both trainers and began to explain the rules of the battle, like the match before this is a double battle where trainers will have to use two pokemons at the same time and the winner will advance to the next round.

Once the referee was done with the rules he asked both the trainers to choose their pokemons.

Carlos went first and sent out a Golduck and Toxicroak.

Julio looked at his opponent's pokemons and sent out his two pokemons into the battlefield, his choice Infernape, and Absol.
