Chapter 1162 - Carlos Vs Julio

Julian looked at the two pokemons that Julio sent into the battle, by now there was no denying that this Julio is a cheap rip-off of Julian, he didn't even bother to catch new pokemons for himself.

He did everything similar to Julian, his style, his pokemons, his battle tactics. Even Julian started to wonder where did this creep come from, the thought of having someone so obsessed with him that they try to become him, crept him to the core.

This is why Julian has a very private life, if people knew what he was doing when he is not in front of the public eye, people might start to get influenced and try to be like him which will definitely put them in danger.

On the battlefield, Carlos was creeped out of his opponent as well but it didn't mean he was afraid of the weird fellow, he believed in his pokemon's strength and was confident that he will advance forward.

Julio, on the other hand, stopped giggling like a creep and went back to being the stoic person he is.

Confirming that both pokemons are on the battlefield, the referee didn't waste any time and began the battle.

Referee "Let the battle begin"

With the wave of the flags, Carlos made the first move.

Carlos "Golduck, use Water Pulse. Toxicroak, use Toxic on the Water Pulse"

Hearing his command, his Golduck charged up a powerful Water Pulse and blasted it at Infernape, his Toxicroak expanded its throat pouch and shot a blob of poison at the Water Pulse causing the Water Pulse to turn purple in color.

From the combination of these two attacks, the Water Pulse became a Toxic Water Pulse, it continued to move towards Infernape at high velocity.

Julio waited until the very last moment before making a move.

Julio "Infernape, use Substitute. Absol, Night Slash. Then Infernape, use Submission".

With precise instruction just like Julian's his pokemons made their move, first Infernape created a decoy in thin air and hid behind it causing the Toxic Water Pulse to hit the decoy and not Infernape, Absol then charged at Toxicroak at very high speed using Night Slash.

Its horn extended as it gathered dark energy around it creating a massive long dark blade.

Infernape then followed right behind Absol using it as its cover.

Carlos was not going to allow a counter-attack and made his move.

Carlos "Toxicroak, counter the Night Slash with Poison Jab. Golduck, use Hydro Pump on Absol"

Carlos was not going to miss the chance of taking out both of Julio's pokemons in one go, having both his opponents pokemon right behind one another in a straight line made them susceptible to a lethal blow.

Toxicroak charged up a powerful Poison Jab as it knew Absol was going to dodge the Hydro Pump and will clash with it.

Golduck charged up its most powerful Hydro Pump and blasted it at Absol, Absol saw the incoming Hydro Pump and moved to the side completely dodging it but the Hydro Pump continued towards Infernape as it was right behind Absol.

As the Hydro Pump was inches away from Infernape, it suddenly disappeared from its position and appeared to the side dodging the Hydro Pump, everyone who saw this couldn't believe their eyes, they had never seen a pokemon dodge a move up close so fast.

Even Julian was surprised to see this.

Julian 'That Infernape is something else'

Julian thought and wondered how this Infernape was trained, from the looks of it, it is still very young so it is already a surprise that it is this strong but to move so fast, there must be something else to this Infernape.

Ash's eyes widened in excitement as he saw how the Infernape moved, he wanted to battle this Julio even more and wanted to experience it first hand.

Back on the battlefield, Carlos was taken back as he saw the Infernape suddenly appear right next to Golduck catching it by surprise.

Before Golduck could even react and stop the Hydro Pump, Infernape got right behind it and put its right arm around Golduck's neck and used its left hand to lock it in, and used a sleeper hold submission.

It then wrapped its legs around Golduck's waist so that Golduck has no chance to shake it off, the Hydro Pump was suddenly put to stop as the pressure was applied on its neck.

Golduck started to flail around and tried to shake off Infernape but it was impossible, the grip around its neck got tighter and Golduck was brought to its knees and its whole body went flat on the ground, Infernape then turned it around and when on its back with Golduck facing towards the sky.

Golduck tried to get out, it shook its arms and legs, tried its best to struggle out but there was no way of escaping this hold.

Carlos got worried as he saw his Golduck going down, he couldn't even order his Toxicroak to save Golduck because it is engaged in a fistfight with the Absol and is being pushed back, if it gets distracted for even a second it will get hit.

Carlos "Golduck, try your best to get out, use Water Pulse"

Carlos called out but his instructions are useless, as Infernape has its hold tight around Golduck it cannot perform any kind of attack, soon Golduck started to fade and bubbles started to form around its mouth.

It then went cold and Infernape finally let it go, Golduck was out.

Referee "Golduck is unable to battle"

The Referee called out.
