Chapter 1163 - Carlos Vs Julio (2)

Now that Golduck was out of the picture, Carlos is in deep trouble as his Toxicroak will not be able to handle two pokemons at the same time, it is doing a great job right now fending of a pokemon that is physically stronger than it.

Infernape now has a new target in its sight, it didn't even bother giving the Golduck a second look before dashing towards Toxicroak.

Carlos saw this and knew he needs to warn his Toxicroak.

Carlos "Toxicroak be careful".

This is all he could say because there is no way his Toxicroak can take on two opponents at the same time, if it turns around to intercept Infernape, Absol will be able to land that Night Slash that it has been barraging Toxicroak with.

But if Toxicroak continues its fistfight with Absol, Infernape will be able to get a sneak attack in.

And as Carlos had thought, his Toxicroak couldn't handle two opponents at the same time, Infernape once again got right behind Toxicroak and put its arms under Toxicroak's arms and brought them over its neck and intertwined its finger and put a full nelson lock on Toxicroak completely disabling its hands.

Now that it has no arms to defend itself, its whole body is completely exposed to Absol who takes the advantage of the situation and lands multiple lethal Night Slashes on Toxicroak's chest and stomach.

After five slashes Infernape let go of the hold and Toxicroak crashes on the ground like a rag doll, it was out on the third hit but Absol continued its attack until Infernape decided to release their victim.

This was indeed a very brutal ending and Carlos could only watch as this happened, Julio did nothing illegal, his pokemons let go of their opponent before causing any severe damage to them but their opponents still suffered a lot of pain from that assault.

Carlos's pokemon will have to rest for a week before they get back to their peak form again.

Referee "Toxicroak is unable to battle. Since both Golduck and Toxicroak are unable to battle, Infernape and Absol wins, hence trainer Julio advances to the next round"

The referee called for the result and declared Julio as the winner of this battle, the crowd cheered louder as they were able to witness another dominating victory from a trainer.

This time the league was not as competitive as the previous ones because the few trainers who are participating this time are just leagues above other trainers who are participating.

But this didn't discourage the audience, they got more excited because they knew that the final rounds would be exciting to watch, the battles will be intense and the results will be shocking and of course, the grand finale will be epic.

Julio didn't stay behind to celebrate with the crowd, he just called back his pokemons and walked out of the battlefield.

The people continued to cheer for him while Carlos just stood there near his pokemons and checked on their health, seeing that they were not getting up, he had to rush them back to the poke center.

Even though they are not fatally injured or dead, they still need medical attention right now.

With the second match of the day coming to an end, the next trainers were called in.

Inside the waiting room, Julian watched as the battle came to an end, just as he thought, Julio won and he won by using one of Julian's tactics, Submission. Julian's Infernape also knows Submission and if Julian remembers correctly his Infernape once used Submission to win in a league battle as well.

And now this guy is even trying to copy Julian's wins, Julian just sighed, even though he felt bad for the trainer Carlos, Julio was not that brutal compared to people that Julian has faced before.

Two more battles took place before another trainer was called who Julian is interested in, it is Alain, the trainer who he battled in Professor Sycamore's lab.

This young trainer is very promising and he has shown dominance in the league till now, Julian wanted to see if Alain will get pushed further or will still be able to hide his strength until he meets someone very strong.

Julian watched alongside Ash as Alain walked in and the crowd cheered for him as well, he is another new face that has caught the attention of people all over the world because of his impressive performance.

He and his opponent took the stage and had their battle, it was an exciting one but it didn't last long as well.

Alain swiped the floor of his opponent and advanced like every other trainer until now and now it was finally time for Julian to enter the battlefield.

Even before the announcer called for his name, the crowd were already calling for him, they knew it was time for Julian to enter and show the world how it really is done.

Just their loud voice was able to cause the ground to rumble.

The league's staff walked in and asked Julian to enter the battlefield, Julian got up and stretched his hands.

Ash wished him luck and Julian just smiled at him and headed towards the battlefield as the voice of the crowd grew louder and louder.
