As soon as the dark jaws shattered Florges' protective shield and chomped down on her, the crowd gasped in shock as they didn't think Haxorus could actually get through the protective shield.

Julian had other ideas, he knew that Florges' protective shield won't hold up but it had enough strength to weaken the Crunch and on top of that Florges is resistant to Dark-type attacks so the attack will deal very little damage to her.

It is Julian just giving false hope to his opponent so he can catch him and his pokemon off guard.

Julian [Moon Blast]

Julian sent a mental order to Florges, he has not used a mental order for quite a while in a battle and this will be the first one.

As smoke filled the air around Florges, everyone including Remo thought that he has gotten a hit but suddenly a powerful Moonblast shot out of the smoke blowing a hole through it which caught Remo's Haxorus off guard and smashed into the dragon sending it crashing and rolling through the ground.

Julian noticed that Haxorus still has some strength and he was not going to allow the dragon to get back to its feet.

Julian "Use Dazzling Gleam to finish it"

Julian ordered. Florges charged up a powerful Dazzling Gleam and blasted it towards Haxorus who suddenly stopped rolling and tried to get back to its feet, seeing the incoming move it knew it was in danger,

Remo "Quick dodge it!"

Remo also shouted. Just as the Dazzling Gleam was about to make contact Haxorus moved to the side and dodged it by a hair inch, both Haxorus and Remo thought that this was over but it's not, Florges didn't stop shooting at all, she just locked onto Haxorus and directed the Dazzling Gleam at Haxorus.

Haxorus tried to run away to avoid the move but there was no way it could outrun a stream of energy that is traveling at the speed of light and Florges is also very experienced in controlling the move making it almost impossible to dodge by just running away.

With its back exposed, the Dazzling Gleam hit Haxorus and dragged it over a few meters through the battlefield leaving behind deep drag marks made by Haxorus' body.

The referee saw no movement from Haxorus so when he checked on it he found out that it was out cold.

Referee "Haxorus is unable to battle, Florges wins"

The referee declared.

The crowd burst into a loud cheer, even though most of them expected the outcome, they couldn't help but get excited over every move Julian and his pokemons make.

Seeing that his Haxorus got knocked out Remo let out a grunt and sent it back to its Pokeball, he was not going to give up so soon, he needed to win this.

He thought he had trained enough, but he fell a little short. He didn't see that Moonblast coming nor did his Haxorus, they were caught off guard but this time things will be different.

Remo then sent out his next pokemon into the battlefield, another Dragon-type pokemon entered the battlefield and this time it is a Kingdra.

A very powerful pokemon with a dragon/water typing, Julian looks at his Florges and decides to switch her with another pokemon, though she could continue, she doesn't need this battle compared to the pokemon Julian is about to choose.

He sent Florges back to her Pokeball and sent out his second pokemon into the battlefield, Dragalge entered the battlefield and looked at his opponent, both of them are dragon types but one clearly has the stat advantage being a superior dragon type pokemon and it's Kingdra.

Dragalge might be a dragon type but compared to Kingdra, his species is not that great.

If this battle were to happen underwater where their natural habitat is, Kingdra will always win in those battles.

But this time, these two pokemons who share and fight for territory underwater will have a battle on land.

Both pokemons looked at each other and felt a natural animosity towards each other. Since both pokemons are very territorial they often had a conflict with each other, while Kingdras move around in a group of three or four.

Dragalges on the other hand, form a pride of 15 or above but they don't move around too much, they find a creek in the sea and settle down while Kingdra's travel around to find new territory when they feel the resource around them have been depleted.

Because of their behavior, these two pokemons often meet in the wild and conflicts occur a lot. Since Kingdra's are more powerful than Dragalges, Dragalges started to form pride to protect their territory.

Because of this, Dragalges and Kingdras don't get along well.

One could tell that this rivalry was infused into them since birth, maybe both of these pokemons might have even encountered the other species during battle when they were young before being captured.

Seeing the tension rising on the battlefield, Julian knew what was happening, he could sense his Dragalge's hatred for Kingdra.

Seeing that both pokemons are on the battlefield, the referee waved his flag and called for the battle to begin.

Julian "Dragalge, Scald"

Remo "Kingdra, use Hydro Pump"

Both of them called out their moves and began the battle.
