With another Venom Drench Garchomp's stat continued to drop further and if this continues, even with the mega evolution, Garchomp will soon lose the advantage it has over Dragalge.

Julian "Use Dragon Pulse"

While Garchomp's attacking powers have been lowered, its defense is still there but Julian is confident enough that his Dragalge can slowly chip away the Garchomp's health and finally put the pokemon to sleep.

This has become the longest battle of Julian's career, this is the longest Julian has ever battled in a league battle.

Dragalge once again charged up another Dragon Pulse and blasted it at Garchomp, since its speed has also been reduced it couldn't dodge the Dragon Pulse and got hit.

Remo started to get frustrated, even after mega evolution, he didn't come out on top.

Remo "Use Draco Meteor"

Seeing none of his moves were working, he decided to bombard the whole battlefield with Draco Meteor, Garchomp roared and sent a bright ball of light up in the sky, the ball of light shot through the air and reached a certain height before exploding.

As soon as the ball exploded, multiple energy meteors came crashing down onto the battlefield like rain, being showered by these meteors will be devesting.

Julian quickly has to come up with a strategy to dodge this barrage of meteors.

Even though Dragalge can use Aqua Tail to dodge, there is no way he can come to an abrupt stop and change direction, he will get hit by at least one meteor and that will be the end of it.

Right now the only thing Julian needs to make sure that this Dragalge survives this Draco Meteor because after the shower ends, Garchomp's special attack will fall even further.

Julian "Use Protect and move around"

Julian has still not come up with a method to dodge this and Protect is only a temporary solution, Dragalge will be able to survive for a few seconds.

Dragalge used Protect and started blocking the energy meteors while Julian carefully looked to see if there is any pattern he could exploit.

As he watched energy meteors crash into the protective shield one after the other, causing cracks to appear and spread at a very fast rate, he knew that he has very little time right now then suddenly he thought of something as his eyes lit up.

Julian "Quick, use Water Fall on yourself!"

Julian ordered.

Dragalge who is still behind the protective shield quickly used a full-powered Water Fall on himself, as a huge black cloud formed a few meters about Dragalge and then water came crashing down on him.

It was as if a massive amount of water if falling from a very high cliff, the volume, and force of this Water Fall is beyond an ordinary one.

As soon as the Water Fall came crashing down, the protective shield over Dragalge shattered and he got engulfed by it, Dragalge completely disappeared from everyone's sight as water continued to drop down.

As for the energy meteors, they also continued to fall they crashed against the Water Fall but as soon as these energy meteors came in contact with the Water Fall, they lost all their energy and disappeared.

The Draco Meteor soon came to an end and so did the Water Fall, as the Water Fall disappeared everyone could see that Dragalge was completely unscathed.

Being a pokemon who lives near powerful water current surviving the Water Fall was not a hard thing for Dragalge to do.

And now Garchomp's special attack is completely useless, Dragalge can easily tank its special attack.

Remo gritted his teeth and decide to go on the attack again.

Remo "Dragon Claw!"

The exhausted Mega Garchomp growled and shot towards Dragalge once again but it was a big mistake.

Julian "Protect"

Hearing Julian, Dragalge used the same method he used at the beginning of the battle between him and Garchomp, he created a sphere of protective shield and then used Aqua Tail at the very last moment to get flung through the air.

As soon as Dragalge made some distance from Garchomp, he shot a powerful Dragon Pulse which landed clean and finally sent the Mega Garchomp crashing on the ground.

As soon as Mega Garchomp's head hit the ground, its body glowed for a brief second and its mega evolution disappeared revealing the normal Garchomp underneath.

Everyone thought that Garchomp got knocked out but it didn't, it is still conscious, it's very rare for a pokemon to still be conscious after losing its mega evolution but this Garchomp didn't, it still gathered up its strength and got back to its feet.

Julian knew it was time to end this battle.

Julian "Use Draco Meteor"

With this call, the fate of this battle was decided.

Dragalge shot an energy ball up in the air which exploded and caused a meteor shower on the battlefield again, the exhausted Garchomp tried to dodge them but it was useless.

It got hit by one meteor after the other until the shower finally ended and Garchomp could be seen laying flat on the ground.

The referee looked at the Garchomp and was about to make the call but he suddenly noticed movement, to everyone's surprise, Garchomp was still moving.

Julian was shocked as well, he has seen pokemons try to get back to their feet after getting hit by a devastating blow and it is a surprising sight but this was completely different.

Surviving a Draco Meter is something else, no pokemon should be able to get up after getting hit by multiple energy meteors as each of these meteors hold an incredible amount of power.

Garchomp gritted its teeth and pressed its arms against the ground and tried to get back to its feet, its arms shook a lot, its head even rose a few inches above the ground while its eyes were locked onto Dragalge with its fierce glare but suddenly its eyes went blank and it lost all its power.

It got blanked out went cold, its head fell on the ground, and became motionless.
