Chapter 1180 - Semi-Finals (1)

After learning about the situation, Julian couldn't help but wait to get his hands on Julio, as he continued to discuss it with Chloe and Daisy, he received another call from the league.

The league then informed him that they found out who this person is and as Julian guessed, it was Julio. They asked Julian if they should deal with him and disqualify him from the league but Julian told them not to take any action.

He wanted to destroy any belief that Julio had and after doing that he would take care of him personally.

On the outskirts of Lumiose city, a cylindrical glowing object suddenly came crashing down and dug halfway into it, the glow then suddenly disappeared revealing a man inside, the man suddenly kneeled down in pain and clutched his stomach.

Though he escaped from his disastrous situation, the landing was still very rough, falling from a great height at incredible speed caused a lot of backlashes, and even though the machine was very high tech it couldn't protect the man from the backlash.

The man bore through the pain and stood up, luckily none of his organs were messed up after that fall, this man is none other than Julio.

After landing hard he gritted his teeth in anger, he was so close to his goal but just one Flygon ruined it. If that Flygon was not there Daisy would have been with him and he could have started a new happy life.

Julio "Next time, I will make sure to take everyone with me, Daisy, Chole, and Cynthia, they all will be mine after I finally defeat that bastard"

Julio said and made his way back towards the city while still clutching his stomach.

What he didn't know was that his actions had just caused his own downfall.

The day of the semi-finals arrived but Julian didn't get the person he wanted to face, he was actually going against Alain in the semi-final round.

Julian is already sitting in the waiting room along with Ash as he will be facing Julio, Julian observed Ash and saw that he was very excited to face Julio.

Julian wondered how Ash will really fare against Julio, from what he has observed until now, Julio can be considered one of the best trainers since his battle style is similar to Julian's and he still has not revealed his full strength.

While Ash also seems to be holding back till now as his Pikachu who is his ultimate equalizer has still not stepped on the battlefield, Julian can tell that Ash is waiting to bring the cute little rat out when he faces an opponent that has pushed him at the very edge.

And Julian believes that Ash will be pushed in this battle and he just hopes that Ash will be able to handle Julio.

Julian is also looking for his battle against Alain as he wants to see how much the young man has come, from his knowledge Alain is still working for Lysander but he still seems to be in the dark.

Julian wondered what Alain will do when he finds out what kind of person Lysander really is, in Julian's eyes Alain is a good kid and he will definitely feel betrayed when he finally finds out.

Angela has been keeping him updated about Lysander's situation and from what he is planning, Julian is not worried at all, he can easily take care of the Zygarde core that Lysander plans to control and take over the city.

Once he is done with Lysander, he should also be able to find out what Lysander is really planning because if his plan is to just use Zygarde and take the city hostage, it is a pretty lame plan.

Or maybe Julian's standard for villains has just risen up after taking care of world-ending disasters.

Well, maybe Julian is hoping that whatever Lysander has planned would be something that can at least make it a little challenging for Julian.

Now that Julian has pokemons who can easily take on the whole world, the concept of villainous organizations doesn't make him think much, even if they succeed in doing whatever they had planned Julian will still be able to get rid of them with his Snorlax or Gengar or Infernape or his every other pokemon that have broken their limit.

And as for now, Julian put the thought aside and decided to focus on the upcoming match against Alain, he waited for a few minutes before a backstage worker came and informed Julian that he is up next.

Julian bid farewell to Ash as he made his way towards the entrance of the battlefield, he could hear the crowd cheering for him like always, they are very eager to see him again.

His last battle was great and people wanted another great and they were hoping their eyes will be blessed by Julian again.

He waited for the announcer to introduce him so he could enter the battlefield.

But before him, the one to be introduced was Alain, as Alain heard his name, he walked into the battlefield, even though he is a little nervous he took a deep breath and calmed down his heart.

He has had this battle once before and lost miserably and he might go through it again but he likes to believe that he has improved a lot and will be able to have a better battle against Julian.

He entered the battlefield, took his position on the battlefield and looked at the other side of the battlefield waiting for Julian to step in.
