Chapter 1181 - Semi-Finals (2)

Once Alain was on the battlefield, the crown continued to cheer for Julian as they got ready to welcome him, the announcer soon began his awesome introduction for Julian.

It was as if the announcer spends hours every day coming up with special sentences just to introduce Julian, it was very clear to everyone by now that the announcer is a big fan of Julian, and even though he has to be impartial for the job, he wasn't.

Like every other person in the stadium, he was more biased towards Julian.

After his grand introduction, Julian entered the battlefield and he was greeted by cheers like always, he waved at his fans and they cheered louder.

One thing Julian never got tired of was this experience, all these people screaming his name like no tomorrow was definitely was a huge ego boost even though he knows it's not a good thing but having human emotions and feelings won't allow him to not enjoy it.

He took his position on the battlefield and waited for the referee to begin the battle, the referee soon stepped into the battlefield as well and began the usual steps to start the battle.

First, he explained the rules, then he asked both of them to choose their pokemon.

Julian sent his first pokemon into the battlefield, the pokemon that entered from his side is Clawitzer.

Seeing Julian's choice, Alain sent out the pokemon he believed will be able to take down Julian's Clawitzer

Jolteon, and it is indeed a very good choice, first it is a pure electric type and on top of that Jolteon is fast, very fast and Clawitzer will have to work hard to lock onto Jolteon and land a successful hit.

But Julian is not worried, even though Clawitzer is not very fast Julian knows that is his weakness and he also knows how to make it not affect him in a battle against an opponent like Jolteon.

With both pokemons on the battlefield, the referee gave the signal to start the battle.

Alain "Use Quick Attack"

Alain went first and went for a move that is extremely fast and very hard to dodge.

Julian "Use Vice Grip"

Julian took the chance, he decided to take the chance to get hit but deal harder damage to his opponent.

Jolteon used Quick Attack and bolted towards Clawitzer leaving behind a trail of white light, as soon as Jolteon was about to make contact with Clawitzer, he used his massive claw to block his body as it is subjective to more damage than his hard claw.

Jolteon crashed hard into the claw and pushed Clawitzer back a little but as soon as its momentum ended, it was wide open for an attack, and with a pokemon as experienced as Clawitzer he is not going to lose this chance to land the finishing blow.

He suddenly used his massive claw and got a hold of Jolteon right between its claw and used Vice Grip to crush Jolteon.

Jolteon tried to escape but Clawitzer lifted his claw up in the air to completely separate Jolteon from the ground as it continued to wriggle in Clawitzer's claw, but due to the jagged edges on the claw Jolteon couldn't continue to wriggle as it caused a lot of pain.

The grip continued to tighten and Jolteon's struggle started to weaken, seeing his Jolteon in trouble Alain quickly thought of a counter-attack.

Alain "Use Thunderbolt"

Alain commanded.

Jolteon who is getting crushed gritted its teeth bearing the pain and blasted a powerful Thunderbolt around its body, the Thunderbolt engulfed Clawitzer instantly shocking him to the core.

The Thunderbolt was enough to loosen the grip and Jolteon was finally able to wriggle out of it and crashed on the ground.

Julian "Crab Hammer"

As soon as Jolteon fell to the ground, it didn't realize that Clawitzer's claw is already coming down on it, the massive claw covered in water energy crashed hard on the Jolteon smashing it hard on its head and planting it deep into the ground.

The impact sent tremors through the battlefield as it felt like a mini earthquake and as Clawitzer lifted its claw everyone saw Jolteon inches deep in the ground completely out cold.

Referee "Jolteon is unable to battle, Clawitzer wins"

The referee called for a result.

Alain was shocked, he thought that his Jolteon should have been able to escape but what he didn't notice was his Jolteon was in no shape to escape at all.

After getting Vice Gripped right in the middle of its body, its spine was getting compressed and its breath was being squeezed out of it, its whole body was going numb from that crushing grip.

But at the last moment, Jolteon was able to gather enough energy to shock Clawitzer and it was very effective, the Thunderbolt was able to deal damage to Clawitzer but it didn't incapacitate him.

As soon as Jolteon hit the ground, it couldn't get back to its feet as its whole body was numb and unresponsive, and then the Crab Hammer descended and ended it with one go.

Alain looked at his Jolteon and sent it back to its Pokeball so he can send out his next pokemon into the battlefield.
