After half an hour of waiting, the second battle of the semi-finals was finally about to begin, the battlefield was replaced with a new one, the audience is getting restless as they want to see the next battle.

Julian made his way towards the VIP section so he can view the battle between Ash and Julio.

After another few minutes, the announcer finally started his announcement and introduced Ash, after his introduction Ash entered the battlefield and people started to chair for him, with Ash's reputation and skill he has built quite a massive fan base and it could be seen here, people knew him and they wanted him to win.

Ash took his position on the battlefield and waited for his opponent to enter the battlefield.

The announcer then started to introduce Julio, Julio being the dark horse of this tournament has caught the attention of many people and they wonder if he is the one who is going to dethrone Julian for the title of the strongest trainer.

After Julio's introduction, it was followed by silence as there was no sign of Julio for a few seconds but just after a minute, Julio finally stepped into the battlefield.

Like always his pace is slow, his every step looks heavy, he is wearing a dark coat with his head covered by a hoodie, people couldn't see his face properly except getting a rough glance at his facial feature.

Julio took his stop on the battlefield and stared coldly at Ash, no one noticed this but Julio's eyes were filled with madness as he was murmuring some words.

The referee soon walked in and began the battle by first explaining the rules.

Once he was done explaining he asked both of them to choose their pokemons, Ash went first and sent out his Talonflame.

Julio also sent out his pokemon, his Tyranitar, the side comparison between these two pokemons is of night and day.

Talonflame is small by fast while Tyranitar is massive, its head is as big as Talonflame's whole body.

Now, this is an interesting match, people started to wonder if the Talonflame has what it takes to take down the mighty Tyranitar.

The referee seeing that both trainers are ready began the battle.

The battle began and Ash's Talonflame got active, its speed helped it dodge a lot of Tyranitar's attacks and it was able to land a lot of hits on the giant monster as well, though the attacks only chipped through Tyranitar's defense it was slowing showing its effect.

The giant was getting tired and Julio was getting frustrated.

He called for a Stone Edge to end it all but Ash's Talon flame was able to dodge it and then use Brave Bird, the Brave Bird hit Tyranitar right on its jaw and sent the giant crashing on the ground, it was not out of it yet but since the giant has fallen, it is vulnerable.

Ash decided to deal the final blow, Talonflame rose high up in the sky and dove down using Steel Wings, it landed hard on Tyranitar's chest knocking the wind out of its lung and putting the giant to sleep.

Referee "Tyranitar is unable to battle, Talonflame wins"

This result came as a surprise to everyone as everyone thought that Tyranitar is going to win because it had displayed immense feat of strength during its run in this tournament.

Julian smiled seeing the first-round end like this, Ash has done his homework, he seems to have figured out Tyranitar's weakness and used his Talonflame's speed to defeat Tyranitar.

Julio, on the other hand, seemed more frustrated, he gritted his teeth even harder which caused his own gums to bleed, his eyes were turning red but no one noticed it.

He sent his Tyranitar back and sent his next pokemon into the battlefield, a Garchomp.

Ash continued with Talonflame and as soon as the battle started Julio's Garchomp bolted at Talonflame with Dual Chop, neither Ash nor Talonflame saw it coming and Talonflame was sent shooting into the ground where it crashed hard.

Referee "Talonflame is unable to battle, Garchomp wins"

The referee declared, Ash didn't show any emotions on his face but to Julian, it was very clear that he was frustrated as he saw Ash clinching his fist very tightly.

Ash then switched his pokemon as well and sent out his Greninja into the battlefield, as soon as Greninja entered Julian got curious, this Greninja's talent might even rival his Aegislash's so Julian was very curious to see how far this Greninja has come.

As soon as Greninja entered the battlefield, the battle began, both pokemons relied on similar strategies, both of them are fast pokemon who have extremely powerful physical attacks.

The moves of these two pokemons clashed all over the battlefield, each and every collision was a mini-explosions followed by a powerful shockwave and every exchange between them was within seconds, there was no gap for resting at all.

Seeing that battle was at a stalemate Julio got frustrated and suddenly pulled out a keystone and mega evolved his Garchomp.

Seeing that his opponent has decided to mega evolved, Ash closed his eyes and took a deep breath, sensing what Ash is doing his Greninja also closed its eyes and took a deep breath.

Julian's interest piqued as he noticed the sudden change in the battlefield, the energy in the air suddenly doubled and it was swirling around Ash and Greninja, Julian could see this energy because it contained omniforce in it.

This shocked Julian.
