Chapter 1187 - Semi-Finals (8)

Ash was holding onto Greninja very tightly and when he finally came to a stop, he looked at Greninja and found it unconscious.

The referee also checked on Greninja and declared the result.

Referee "Greninja is unable to battle, Snorlax wins"

Even after the referee declared the winner people didn't cheer for Julio because they all could feel something was not right with this Snorlax, they just watched warily and pitied Ash and his Greninja.

Ash was a little emotional but he calmed down and send Greninja back to its Pokeball and looked at Pikachu who is standing right next to him with a worried look on his face.

Ash and Pikachu's eyes met and they knew what they had to do.

Ash "I will be relying on you buddy"

Ash said and got back to his feet.

Pikachu "PIKACHU!"

Pikachu declared in confidence and entered the battlefield, Ash took his spot on the battlefield again and looked at his opponent with a burning passion, Ash was not going to give up just because the opponent has introduced a dangerous pokemon.

Ash "Let's do this, Pikachu, use Quick Attack"

Ash ordered.

Pikachu rushed towards Shadow Snorlax at full speed while leaving a white trail behind him, Pikachu was so fast that the Snorlax had no chance to escape it, Pikachu crashed hard against the Snorlax's stomach and was able to push the giant two steps back but Pikachu was bounced away.

Pikachu did a backflip and landed on his feet and stared at the Snorlax, Ash and Pikachu were both surprised to see that the Quick Attack had no effect on the giant.

The only reason the Snorlax stepped back was because of how much energy Pikachu had behind his attack.

Julio "Use Fire Punch"

The Shadow Snorlax suddenly rushed towards Pikachu and raised its arm to punch at him, its arm covered in black energy created a black color flame, as its arm was about to descend on Pikachu, Pikachu moved away and dodged the attack very easily giving him an opening for an attack.

Ash "Use Iron Tail"

Pikachu did a quick turn and landed a full power Iron Tail right on Snorlax's knee, the power behind the attack was a lot, and even with its boosted stat due to its current state the Snorlax lost its senses in its leg and took a kneel.

Ash "Use Iron Tail again"

Now that Snorlax was down, Pikachu used Snorlax's knee to assist himself to jump up and then did a flip and landed a lethal hit with Iron Tail right on top of Snorlax's head.

The power behind this attack was immense and even with its bulky nature, the Snorlax went down.

Its huge body crashed hard on the ground shocking everyone, this was the same Snorlax that took out Ash's Greninja in a second, and now it's on the ground right after two moves but it was not over.

After a second, the Snorlax moved and got back to its feet as if nothing happened.

Julian who was focused on this Snorlax frowned as he noticed something, the attacks from Pikachu were devastating, Pikachu is already a champion level pokemon and the damage that it dealt should be enough to take down other champion level pokemons but seeing how easily this Snorlax shrug them off, he realized that there is more to this Snorlax.

Julio "Use Fire Punch"

As soon as Snorlax got back to its feet it used Fire Punch again, Pikachu being fast was able to dodge the punch again but the impact of the punch hitting the ground sent a tremor through the whole body causing Pikachu to lose balance.

Ash saw this and quickly decided to retreat, he saw what happened to Greninja when it lost balance, Snorlax took advantage of it and knocked it out.

Ash "Quick, move away and keep some distance from Snorlax"

Ash commanded, Pikachu used his tail to gain balance and quickly moved far away from Snorlax.

Ahs "Use Thunderbolt"

As soon as Pikachu made some distance he stopped and charged up a powerful Thunderbolt and shot it at Snorlax, the Snorlax had no way of dodging this and took the attack head-on, the Thunderbolt made contact and zapped the hell out of Snorlax but for some reason, it just stood there and took it.

When the Thunderbolt stopped Snorlax was still standing but suddenly went on its knee from the damage, smock could be seen rising up from its body but then it got back to its feel again without showing any emotions.

Julian who is watching the Snorlax was once again surprised, the Thunderbolt clearly dealt a lot of damage but the Snorlax still got back to its feet.

Julio who watched this was getting frustrated, he thought that bringing out his hidden card would allow him to dominate this battle but he once again underestimated the runt standing across him on the battlefield.

And his pokemon is very fast for his Snorlax to land any hit.

Julio "Since you like to run so much, let's see how you dodge this, use Flamethrower"

Julio ordered and Snorlax followed by a powerful Flamethrower which Pikachu dodged easily but Snorlax continued with the assault chasing Pikachu all over the battlefield and when it looked like Pikachu was about to get cornered, he jumped up in the air to leap over the Flamethrower but this is what Julio was waiting for.

Julio "Now, Earthquake"

As soon as Julio ordered this, Snorlax stopped its Flamethrower and then suddenly raised its leg up and slammed it hard on the ground.
