Chapter 762 - Triple Battle

Julian took his place on the battlefield and waited for Charles to choose his pokemons, Julian current team is a little off-balance, his first four pokemons are too powerful while the pokemons he caught later are a little behind compared to the first four.

His Archen is just born, his Larvesta is growing fast and should be able to battle but winning a battle against Clay the gym leader will be very hard, the only ones Julian has hope for are his Axew and the newest member of his team, Golett.

He watched as Charles took out three pokeballs and sent out his pokemons, Zebstrika, Krokorok, and Accelgor which seems to be his ace, looking at Charles's choice Julian smiles.

His pokemons are not bad but they are not the best either, with Julian's current team, his first four pokemons can single-handedly take them down but his second half of the team still needs to evolve or level up faster to catch up, but for now, they will do.

Julian also took out his pokeballs and sent out his pokemons for the battle, Axew, Larvesta, and Golett, his Archen has just started training so he cannot do much in this battle even if he wants to.

Since both have their pokemons on the battlefield the battle started, the few people who are around started to watch the battle with interest because a triple battle is very rare and people sometimes enjoy the chaos that they bring.

These viewers looked at both sides and favored Charles's pokemons because he has two pokemons that are fully evolved and one is at its second stage, while the pokemons on Julian's side are still on their first stage.

Charles clearly has the advantage here, not by typing but by pokemon's expertise when it comes to handling their power properly, it is very clear that a fully evolved pokemon can do things better than its previous form, not just because it has grown stronger but because their cells and channel their energy better inside their body.

Charles began the attack since he saw Julian wanted to play defensive.

Charles "Zebstrika, use Quick Attack"

His Zebstrika moved fast while making it harder for Julian's pokemon to keep track of it as it moved in a zig-zag pattern.

Julian "Not gonna work, Larvesta use String Shot"

Larvesta who is behind Julian's other two pokemon locked onto the Zebstrika with its insane bug-like sense and shot a long sticky string at Zebstrika's feet, Larvesta had already predicted where Zebstrika is going to put its foot so there was no chance of missing.

The sticky string caught Zebstrika's front leg's and glued them to the ground causing it to come crashing on the ground and hitting its face.

Julian "Now, Golett, use Ice Punch"

As Zebstrika get very close to Golett with its fall, it is in danger, Golett hummed loudly and Ice started to form around his arm, Golett then tried to smack Zebstrika's head with Ice Punch.

Charles "Accelgor, use Energy Ball and stop Golett. Krokorok, use Dig and attack Larvesta"

Accelgor being very fast, shot a powerful Energy Ball at Golett with extreme speed, seeing the Energy Ball coming towards him, Golett changed his target and counter the Energy Ball with Ice Punch.

Krokorok dug into the ground and charged at Larvesta.

Julian "Larvesta, use Flame Charge and attack Zebstrika"

Charles thought that he had Zebstrika out of danger but he was wrong, as his Krokorok is not underground it cannot defend the fallen Zebstrika who is trying to get up and Larvesta with Flame Charge is too fast for Krokorok, and Golett is handling Accelgor.

Larvesta moved fast as his body is covered in scorching flames, his little legs are moving so fast that they are creating after images.

Krokorok missed the Dig and came out of the ground.

Julian "Axew, now use Dual Chop"

Axew was waiting for his command, as soon as Larvesta moved Krokorok came out of the ground trying to hit him but missed and now Axew has a clear hit, he channeled his Dragon energy and charged at Krokorok and landed two massive hits, Golett also destroyed the Energy Ball with his powerful Ice Punch and Larvesta laded the Flame Charge on Zebstrika.

Zebstrika got sent flying backward and crashed into the ground, even though Larvesta is not the strongest here he still has a good attack stat and a fast Flame Charge will deal damage.

Krokorok was sent rolling on the ground as well, and within their first exchange Julian's side landed two good hits, for Julian this is easy but for Charles, it is hard to keep up.

Charles gritted his teeth as he saw how easily Julian handled the situation.

Charles 'No wonder he is called the greatest'

He thought and focused on the battle again, his Zebstrika and Krokorok got back to their feet and took their position again, right behind Accelgor. Julian's pokemon also took their position, Golett, and Axew in the front defending the fragile Larvesta.

Julian watched a frustration built up in Charles, he also realized that Charles is very serious during the battle, he is treating this very seriously, it is as if he wants to master this triple battle thing and there is no better way to do it than battling against the best, that is Julian.

Julian "Go on, I am waiting, make your move"

Julian taunted him to see if Charles can handle the pressure, if he wants to get better at it, his mental state also needs to be at its peak.

The people who were watching the battle were also surprised by how easily Julian's pokemon took control over the battlefield, they underestimated him, some of them quickly took out their phone knowing that this is an interesting battle and they have to post it online.
