Chapter 910 - Start Of Preliminary

The Crowd couldn't stop cheering after seeing the knockout and just like that Julian became one of the trainers that are part of the Top 128.

Since the battle was over the referee made the call.

With that it was official, Julian was in the top 128.

Now that the battle is over, he didn't wait around, he sent Escavalier back to his Pokeball and walked out of the battlefield while waving at his fans.

The internet broke down again, Julian's second pokemon was revealed and people who guessed it correctly got a very big bag of money, just like every time the league happens, people like to bet on things and one category is which pokemon Julian will use during the league.

If people guess it right, their money triples in amount, people who had guessed that Julian had Darmanitan and Escavalier got their money back three folds and they were very happy.

When Julian found out about this he couldn't believe this at all, he realized that people will start betting on anything to earn some money.

He sighed and continued training his pokemon, the preliminaries will start in two days and he wants his pokemons to be in perfect shape when the battle, the league is still going on as the top 128 is still not decided, there are still a few more battles left.

Just like Julian, a lot of trainers from the top 128 were gaining a lot of attention, Dhrago the man with the eye patch, he battles were very destructive and it caught the attention of many people, they thought that he might be the one to defeat Julian, there is also Yesh, his battles were very technical.

Some of Julian's fans even thought that Yesh's battle style was influenced by Julian so they also cheered for them.

Ash was also getting a lot of attention, they know Ash, he is a famous trainer from the Kanto region and he is the only trainer to battle Julian two times in the finals making him another candidate to battle Julian in the finals.

There are the two dark horses of this league, Karl and Glen, they came from other regions but they have shown a lot of power and techniques during their battles which made them stand out a lot as well.

There were also some trainers from Unova who stood out, Virgil who seems to have a team filled with Eeveelutions and he seems to be a very experienced trainer even though he looks very young.

Then there is Dino, a hot-headed teenager who seems to have a very destructive battle style.

There is also Trip who is doing very well.

Last but not least is Cameron who also swept through the competition along with his Lucario which seems very strong.

There were also many other trainers among them who stood up but it didn't matter because they didn't leave any impression on the audience.

People already started to bet who will face Julian in the finals, this also caused a massive uproar on the internet as people picked their own favorites, they shit on each other's choice as well.

They compared battle styles and tried to prove that they were the right ones and that their choice is the one that is going to battle Julian and maybe even defeat him, but the more these people argued the stupider their arguments became, and soon they started to call out each other by cursing at their moms and mental state.

These things continued for the two days before the preliminaries finally started.

The day has come, it's the day of the first preliminary rounds, now people don't have to see multiple trainers battling in the same stadium, each of them will battle each other on a big battlefield.

The preliminaries will still be a one vs one pokemon battle.

After the preliminaries, the top 64 are left and they will have to battle in the qualifiers, the qualifiers will be divided into three rounds.

In the first round, the top 64 will battle each other using two pokemons, which will lead to only 32 trainers remaining.

In the second round, the top 32 will battle each other again using two pokemons from which the top 16 will be revealed.

And in the final round, the top 16 will battle each other but this time they will use three pokemons until 8 trainers are left.

These eight trainers will then move forward to the finals where they will be using all six of their pokemons to battle in the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Finals.

People are getting crazy over this again, they cannot contain their excitement, the computer has randomly selected opponents for trainers for the preliminary round.

The preliminary will be held for two days, so 32 battles will take place today and the league will be utilizing all the four stadiums around the grand stadium, each stadium will have eight battles per day.

So half will be battling today and the other half will be battling tomorrow.

Luckily for Julian, he was going to battle today and he is up first and he is battling someone random Julian has no idea about.

He went to the north stadium and entered the battlefield as his fans cheered for him, his opponent also walked in, the referee explained the rules, asked them to choose their pokemons and once they did, the referee waved his flags down to indicate the start of the battle.

The battle started.... It then ended.

Julian sent Gigalith and earthquakes his opponent's pokemon and it was done.
