With Glen's Sirfetch'd getting knocked out Julian headed to the top 4, the semifinals.
Right now inside the battlefield, the crowd is going wild as Julian scored another big victory over Glen who showed to the world that he is one of the best trainers here in the Unova League, he managed to almost knock out two of Julian's pokemon.
Glen looked at his Sirfetch'd and sighed, he is a little disappointed that his Sirfetch'd didn't listen to him and didn't trust him at the last minute but he could understand it, Sirfetch'd had never let go of his word and it was his everything.
Haxorus let go of the leek sword and roared in his victory, his roar was thunderous causing many to cheer in excitement as well.
Julian looked at Sirfetch'd and sighed as well, this battle could have gone for much longer if Sirfetch'd had let go of the sword but he didn't he didn't trust Glen enough to listen to him.
Glen is indeed a very strong trainer and he has proved it here on the battlefield but he needs to work with his pokemon on building trust, trust strong enough that his pokemons are going to do anything they say, even if it makes them uncomfortable.
Julian believes that Glen is a much better pokemon trainer than Ash could ever be but what Ash does better than anyone else is building trust with his pokemons, and that is why he is so successful on the battlefield, his pokemon listen to everything he says even if it doesn't make sense sometimes.
If Glen could build this unbreakable trust between him and his pokemons, he will be in a different league, even beyond champions, just like Julian.
Julian returned Haxorus back to his Pokeball and looked at Glen.
Julian "You are good, you gave me a good fight, but next time make sure that your pokemons trust you and believe in you, or you will never reach the height you are aiming for"
He advised and decided to walk away, Glen just watched as Julian walked out of the stadium, he then walked towards the fallen leek and picked it up before going to his Sirfetch'd who is slowly starting to get back into consciousness.
Sirfetch'd woke up and looked around for his leek and Glen handed it to him, Sirfetch'd looked at Glen and was disappointed, till now Sirfetch'd have never lost a battle and this is his first loss, he regretted not listening to Glen but he couldn't see himself letting go of his leek.
Glen "We will get him next time"
He said and sent Sirfetch'd back to his Pokeball walked out of the battlefield as well, the quarterfinals are finally over, the crowd also started to leave but they are still excited about the semifinals.
The four names that are going to face off against each other are huge names, Julian, Dhrago, Yesh, and Ash.
Everyone is excited about the semifinals and they are wondering who is going to battle who and head to the finals.
_____________
Inside a private room, Dhrago himself is sitting on a couch looking at the empty battlefield with a smile.
Dhrago 'So much power, I can't hide my excitement... I am going to enjoy myself there'
He said with a sadistic smile on his face, he was the most excited about battling Julian than anyone, he is a sadist in nature, he likes to destroy strong opponents, he likes to destroy their confidence, he likes to make them regret stepping into the battlefield.
And this is why he will be the most satisfied in his life when he does this to the strongest trainer in the world according to the people of the world.
He also left the room as the sun was about to set.
_______________
Julian didn't go directly to his hotel room, instead, he went to a pokemon spa so that his pokemons can relax by getting themselves a nice massage and relieve themselves from the stress after such a hard battle.
He entered the pokemon spa and handed over his pokemons to workers there, he, on the other hand, sat down on a couch and picked up a magazine that had Chloe's photo on the cover in a red bikini and started to read it.
After some time another person walked into the spa, Julian lifted his head to look at this person, it is none other than Yesh, Julian smiled and waved at him.
Yesh looked at Julian, handed over his pokemons to the worker, and sat next to Julian quietly.
Julian "So who do you want to face in the semifinals?"
He asked. He is curious about Yesh's mentality during this whole league and how he feels about the current competition.
Yesh "Anyone is fine"
He answered.
Julian "Are you sure? Don't you want to face anyone in particular?"
He asked.
Yesh "Hm.......... Ash, I guess"
He answered.
Julian "Ash? Why?"
Yesh "Last time I battled him, it ended in a draw, I want to see how it will play out again"
Julian "How do you see it playing out?"
He asked with a smile.
Yesh "I don't know, its unpredictable with him, that is why I want to battle him the most"
He answered.
Julian "Fair enough, what about the other trainer, Dhrago, what do you think about him?"
Yesh "Dhrago? He will be a tough battle, his pokemons are also over-leveled but I think I have a 60% chance of winning against him"
Julian "Then you are really confident"
Julian answered. He has seen Dhrago battle and that guy is clearly overqualified for this league, just like Yesh said, his pokemons are over-leveled.
Yesh "Then how do you see the battle ending between him and me?"
Julian "50-50, he is indeed a stronger trainer but I think you should be able to think of something on the battlefield to counter but I don't know if it will be enough, that is why I give you 50% chance"
Yesh "I see"
Yesh answered and decided to stay quiet from then on.
