Chapter 929: The Semifinals

Julian revived his pokemon back from the spa worker and decided to leave, he looked at Yesh who is looking at his phone with his emotionless eyes.

Julian "Best of luck against whoever you are going to face next, just so that you remember, if it's me, you will have to think of something new to defeat me"

Yesh lifted his head and looked at Julian for a few seconds before nodding his head.

Yesh "I understand"

Julian "Good, I will be leaving then"

Julian bid his farewell and left the spa and headed back to his hotel room and went to rest, today was a long day and he just wants to close his eyes and clear his head.

The next morning when he woke up, he realized that his phone was buzzing continuously, he turned it on and realized that the league has just announced the matchups for the semifinals.

He got a little excited and checked who he will be facing and seeing who it was put a smile on his face, it was none other than Dhrago.

He will be facing Dhrago in the semifinals while Yesh and Ash will be facing off against each other again but this time they will have an audience of over 200000 people and millions in homes through their TVs.

But Julian now needs to worry about his next opponent, Dhrago, the trainer who has been causing havoc all over the league.

Every opponent he has faced has their confidence shattered completely, their pokemons badly hurt and the trainers left in sorrow.

Julian 'This idiot really has done a number on every trainer he has come across along with gym leaders as well, he also seems to be using over level pokemons for this league as well, he is doing it intentionally and is loving it'

He thought while looking at every league footage he could find of Dhrago, he enjoyed causing permanent harm to pokemons and this was out of the question to Julian, he decided to deal with Dhrago a little differently than any other people.

He is going to make sure that Dhrago regrets doing whatever he did in the league.

Julian 'Time to train I guess'

He thought and got out of his hotel to train.

The two days flew by as if it was nothing and the day of the semifinals is here, people are going crazy as the first match is Yesh Vs Ash.

People are really excited about this battle as they have no idea who is going to advance to the finals, Ash has a very good record and has been in the league final twice while Yesh on the other hand has proven himself to be a very technical fighter who has not been hit even once in this whole tournament.

And since this is the internet, people know that these two have battled once, the video of them battling inside a local pokemon park has been circulating all over the internet and seeing that their battle ended in a draw made people even more excited.

Even they wanted to know who is going to be the superior trainer among them.

Julian also made his way towards the grand stadium and found himself a private room to watch the battle, he didn't expect Yesh's desire to battle Ash would come true but he was excited to see who is going to win, both of them have been thought by him in the past.

While he didn't teach Ash as much as Yesh, he still passed down some basics to him. Yesh, on the other hand, learned a lot from Julian and implemented a lot of Julian's techniques, and made a few changes to them which suited his own battling style.

Julian would be lying if he said he is supporting both of them, he wants Yesh to win this battle because he would want to see his own student win and then face him in the finals, Julian believes that no one in this league can give him a harder challenge than Yesh as Yesh knows a lot about Julian's training.

But Julian wouldn't mind Ash winning the battle again, Ash and he would then be battling for the third time at the finals of the league.

Julian took his seat on his couch and waited for the battle to start, the announcer soon started to hype the audience as well, and he didn't have to do much, just their names were enough for the crowd to go wild.

Announcer "Ladies, Gentlemen and pokemons, the time has come for the first battle of the semifinals, a battle between two young trainers who have proven themselves to be the best of the best, they defeated all their opponents to make it so far to the semifinals and now they will meet each other on the battlefield and battle to decide who will be the one to main-event in the finals.

On one hand, is the cheerful and bold trainer, Ash from pallet town, he is one of those trainers that never give up, he has now participated in five leagues and have been in the finals twice but unlucky for him, he has never won a single league, with both his losses being against Julian at the finals of Hoenn and Sinnoh league, but will this be the year Ash finally strikes gold and head to the finals and win it.

We will soon find out.

And on the other hand, its the cold and silent trainer who has impressed the world with his skills as a pokemon trainer, he is one of the dark horse that has risen through popularity within days, being one of the favorites to win the league, it's Yesh, nicked named as the dark prince by his fans.

Will he be the one who will head to the finals and win it making history again by coming from an unknown background and winning the league, just like one of the other participants in the league, we will soon find out.
