Chapter 931: Ash Vs Yesh 2 (2)

Krookodile went flying through the air and crashed hard on the ground, that X-Scissor landed perfectly, even though little weakened in power it was still very effective against a ground type like Krookodile.

But to everyone's surprise, Ash's Krookodile got back to its feet and adjusted the glasses it was wearing while showing its razor-sharp teeth to Scizor.

Yesh "Scizor, use Brutal Swing"

Scizor charged at Krookodile again and swung both its arms like propellers and started to spin very fast, dark energy covered its arms as it tried to land another good hit on Krookodile.

Ash "Use Crunch"

As Scizor got closer, Krookodile used another Crunch and slammed it shut on Scizor, an explosion occurred and both pokemon flew back and landed on their feet again.

Yesh soon realized that this battle will end in a very physical way, both his and Ash's pokemon are physical attackers, they don't have any special attacks that could deal big damage, and seeing Ash is sticking to physical, Yesh has nothing to worry about.

He knows that his Scizor is stronger and he needs to land another one of those X-Scissors to get a clean first-round win over Ash.

Yesh looked through the battlefield and thought of a few things before coming up with a method to land a hit.

Yesh "Use Metal Claws"

Yesh made his call and his Scizor charged at Krookodile with its pincers covered in metal energy, it swung its left arm at Krookodile to land the Metal Claw.

Ash "Use, Thunder Fang"

Seeing the incoming swing, instead of moving away, Krookodile moved in and got very close to Scizor and then suddenly used Thunder Fang and bit down on Krookodile's left forearm stopping the Metal Claw in its path.

Scizor then suffered a powerful jolt of electricity as its whole body shook in pain, but Scizor used its other arm and started to punch the side of Krookodile's body using Metal Claw, these shots sounded painful, after four two five punches Krookodile let go and stepped back while holding onto its side.

Scizor also is also feeling numbness throughout its whole body but it could still move.

Yesh "Now's the chance, use X-Scissor"

Seeing an opening, Yesh didn't want to miss this chance, he noticed that those Metal Claws dealt a lot of damage to Krookodile, Scizor moved fast and successfully landed the X-Scissor right on Krookodile's chest and sent it flying through the air, it was a critical hit.

Ash "KROOKODILE"

Ash shouted as he saw his Krookodile crashing into the ground.

Ash "Come on it's not over, get up"

Hearing Ash's voice, Krookodile suddenly shot up and roared loudly, its eyes were red in anger and there seems to be a sudden power boost inside Krookodile.

Julian who was watching this noticed the changes and realized that Ash's Krookodile has the ability, Anger Point, this ability rises an ability bearer's attack to maximum when the user gets hit by a critical shot.

Yesh "Let's end this, use X-Scissor again"

Seeing that his opponent's pokemon was consumed in anger, Yesh realized that he could capitalize on this.

Ash "Now, Foul Play"

Seeing the incoming attack, Ash knew this is his chance and made a call.

As Scizor got closer and was about to land the X-Scissor, Krookodile suddenly grabbed one of Scizor's arms with a glowing dark claw and Scizor suddenly felt all its power being drained from its X-Scissor.

Since Krookodile used Foul Play, it allowed Krookodile to steal, Scizor's own powers and hit it with it, since Scizor is the stronger attacker, Krookodile stole all that power from Scizor for a second, and with his Ability Anger Point in play, the power behind is attack multiplied even further.

Krookodile's right claw started to glow dark as it was covered with a very concentrated amount of dark energy, it then punched Scizor's stomach and sent it flying across the battlefield.

Scizor went flying and crashed hard on the ground and laid there for a few seconds before trying to get back to its feet again.

Ash "Now, finish it, Fire Fang"

Krookodile charged at Scizor which is still trying to get back to its feet and bit down on it with its massive jaw covered in flames.

Scizor's whole body was engulfed in flames and it went on its knee, Krookodile let go of Scizor and backed off and watched as Scizor's head crashed into the ground and got knocked out.

Referee "Scizor is unable to battle Krookodile wins"

The Referee called out the result as Scizor went down.

The crowd went wild as they saw this, they didn't expect this to happen, this is the first time Yesh lost a pokemon during this whole league and it came in the hands of Ash, Ash's name started to go around the grand stadium and people couldn't hide their excitement.

Yesh, on the other hand, looked at his fallen Scizor and didn't think much about it, he analyzed the battle inside his mind and sent Scizor back to its Pokeball.

He then sent out his next pokemon as he didn't like to waste time, he sent out his Excadrill, this is the same Excadrill Julian passed it down to him as a Drilbur, brother of Julian's Excadrill.

Yesh "I think I get you, from here on, things are going to be different"

Yesh said in a monotone voice while looking at Ash, Ash didn't understand what Yesh meant but he didn't care, his only worry right now is to keep on his momentum and defeat Yesh and head to the finals.
