Chapter 932: Ash VS Yesh 2 (3)

Ash didn't know what Yesh was saying, but he is fired up, he took down Yesh's pokemon, and that has never been done by any other trainer till now, he has the momentum and he is going to use it.

Yesh "Let's being the second round then"

Yesh said and started the battle.

Yesh "Excadrill, use Crush Claw"

Yesh's Excadrill charged at Krookodile with his claws wide open, the steel claws glow white as he got closer to his target.

Ash "Counter with Foul Play again"

Since Ash has already brought out his ace move, he wanted to go all out with it from the very start.

Krookodile saw the incoming attack and raised its hand to stop it but it seems to be a bluff before, Krookodile could even grab Excadrill's attack, Excadrill suddenly switched his arm and grabbed Krookodile arm with Crush Claw causing one of its arm to go numb.

Yesh "Finish it, Drill Run"

As Krookodile grabbed onto its arm from the effects of Crush Claw, it couldn't fully defend against the next attack that came towards its way.

Excadrill used Drill Run and landed it right on Krookodile's chest and sent it flying and crashing into the ground, Krookodile fainted on the spot and ended this round.

Referee "Krookodile is unable to battle, Excadrill wins"

Ash was shocked as he thought his Krookodile would be able to last a little longer in the battle, he didn't expect it to go down so early.

Yesh "As I said, I have already figured you out, you are rash and unpredictable, the best way to take you down is by brute force and nothing else, I don't need a game plan against you"

Yesh said as he looked at his opponent.

Yesh spent a lot of time watching and studying Ash, he believed Ash is one of his strongest opponents and he did a lot of calculations, played multiple stimulations in his mind but he would never get a perfect result.

He finally decided to see what Julian did to defeat Ash. He didn't want to take this route because of what Julian had said to him before, 'Don't do things I do just because I get results, find your own way or you will never be able to reach the top by copying others'.

Yesh took this very personally, he wanted to learn from Julian and just be like him, be the best trainer in the world but after learning under Julian, Yesh changed even though he didn't show it to anyone.

He wanted to be the strongest and he didn't change his goal, but he wanted to find his own style, something that is as effective as Julian's and completely different from him as well.

As Yesh found nothing, he had to go back and watch Julian battle with Ash again and when he saw all the video footage, he was surprised to see Julian's battle against Ash.

He was surprised to see Julian's way, it was just brute force and nothing else, he just tried to overpower Ash's pokemon in every aspect, speed, power, skills, it was the roughest he has ever seen Julian battle, with no plan, it was just like a street fight with no technique.

Yesh finally realized what type of opponent Ash really was, he is rash but sometimes he will make a move so unexpected that will catch everyone by surprise, he realized that there is no other way to battle Ash other than sticking to your guts and nothing else, don't think about what Ash is going to do next, only think about how you will advance and counter moves in the very particular second.

Ash didn't expect this but he has a lot more to do, without any second thought Ash sent Krookodile back to its Pokeball and sent out his next pokemon, Emboar.

Ash's Emboar took the battlefield and let out a battle cry while the flames around its neck and back flared up releasing immense heat into the surrounding.

Yesh "Being, Drill Run again"

Yesh called for another Drill Run

Ash "Counter with Stone Edge"

Emboar heard the command and punched the ground hard, suddenly multiple blue rock pillars came shooting out of the ground, trying to stop Excadrill's momentum but Excadrill drilled right through them as if they didn't provide any resistance, he drilled through everything and arrived in front of Emboar.

Ash "Use Brick Break"

As Excadrill got close, Emboar lifted its arm and brought it down hard on Excadrill using Brick Break, as the two moves clashed, a powerful shockwave broke out sending ripples through the air, the ground beneath Emboar's feet shattered leaving a deep imprint behind.

Yesh "Keep pushing forward, use Metal Claws"

Excadrill continued to advance forward with his attacks, he swiped left and right using Metal Claws, trying to land each and every hit with full power behind it.

Ash got excited as he witnessed the battle becoming more intense, a smile appeared on his face and he continued to give commands.

As Yesh observed the battle, he also noticed the smile on Ash's face and wondered why he is smiling.

Yesh 'How can one smile in a battle?'

Yesh asked himself while keeping a straight face, he has never experienced any emotions during a battle, the only thing he thinks of during a battle is winning and if he doesn't win, he thinks about how he can improve and change his ways so that next time he isn't defeated.
