With Ash taking charge, Pikachu used Quick Attack and ran towards the Steelix at full speed, his speed was blinding as Steelix couldn't keep its eye on Pikachu, Pikachu easily got behind Steelix and landed a Quick Attack on its back but to everyone's surprise, Steelix only flinched a little.

Yesh "Dragon Tail"

As Pikachu backed of, Steelix roared and lifted its tail high up in the air as very destructive energy formed around its tail, Steelix used Dragon Tail and brought it down on Pikachu with full power.

Ash "Use Agility and Dodge"

Pikachu used Agility and increased his speed by a level and dodged at Dragon Tail easily leaving several after images behind, as Steelix's tail smashed into the ground, it caused a mini earthquake and completely destroyed the ground.

If this would have landed on Pikachu it might have been the end.

Ash "Use Agility again"

Ash wanted to use his only advantage that is speed and make Pikachu even faster so that Steelix would really have a hard time seeing him coming.

Yesh "Use Earthquake"

Steelix once again lifted its tail high up in the air channeling a lot of earth energy in its tail and slammed it on the ground causing a massive energy pulse to enter into the ground and causing an earthquake.

Ash "Jump"

As the Earthquake started, Pikachu jumped high up in the sky to avoid getting hit by it, being a ground-type move, it would have dealt a lot of damage.

Yesh "Now, Iron Tail"

As Pikachu took air, Steelix once again lifted its tail and then swung its whole body sending its tail swinging towards Pikachu with full speed, metal energy surrounded its tail as it got closer to its target.

Ash "Counter with Iron Tail as well"

As Pikachu is still in the air, he rolled his body and started to spin to build momentum and activated Iron Tail, both Iron Tail clashed and made a deafening sound, it was as if two giant bells made of metal colliding with each other at high speed.

Everyone covered their ears but they could still hear the ringing sound in their ear, the clash also created a powerful shockwave which completely disturbed the atmosphere, even though there was no contact point to the ground, the ground beneath the collision shattered from the shockwave.

Pikachu was sent flying from the recoil while Steelix's whole body twisted due to recoil as well, Pikachu rolled his body and did multiple flips before landing on the battlefield while Steelix stabilized its massive body with brute force.

Yesh is surprised again, he couldn't believe the amount of energy Pikachu could generate in a single Iron Tail with its tiny frame, it was able to even top his Steelix's Iron Tail.

Ash "Agility and Quick Attack"

Ash is sticking to his ways and increasing Pikachu's speed, Pikachu used Agility and then Quick Attack once again, with every Agility, his speed kept increasing and Steelix is having a hard time keeping its eyes on Pikachu.

Yesh 'If, that's how you want to do it then I will do the same'

Yesh thought and decided to change the way he is battling.

Yesh "Use Autotomize"

Yesh decided to increase his Steelix's speed as well, Autotomize is a move that allows the pokemon to decrease its weight by 100kg every time it is used, a pokemon made itself weigh up to just 0.1kg by using Autotomize multiple times.

Steelix used Autotomize and shaved off 100 kgs of its body increasing its speed by several levels, losing its weight and still have the same amount of power can indeed be very beneficial but there are also disadvantages to this, the recoil will be a lot worse.

Steelix's massive body helped it keep stabilized on the battlefield but if another massive collision takes place, Steelix will have a harder time getting its body under control.

As Pikachu got closer to land the Quick Attack, Steelix countered with another Dragon Tail, this time the Dragon Tail is much faster than before.

Seeing this Ash quickly made his decision and countered.

Ash "Dodge and continue forward"

Pikachu used its dexterity and dodged the incoming Dragon Tail by a hair inch and landed the Iron Tail right below Steelix's head causing its head to snap back from the recoil, it was more effective than Yesh expected but his Steelix has very high defense, it can take many hits like this with no problem.

Seeing that Steelix is still having a hard time keeping up with Pikachu, Yesh decided to use Autotomize again, Steelix once again shaved off another hundred kg from its weight and increased its speed by several levels again and now with the power in its body, it could launch at a certain direction at extreme speed, its tail would also act as a whip rather than a heavy weapon.

Ash "Agility and Quick Attack"

Ash continued with this attack pattern as it worked, Pikachu used Agility again and increased his speed again, and charged at Steelix with full speed.

Yesh "Sandstorm"

Yesh decided to put a stop to Pikachu by using Sandstorm, Steelix roared and released a pulse of energy which suddenly started to cause changes in the surrounding as sand started to accumulate out of nowhere and blow around the battlefield creating a Sandstorm.

This put a stop to Pikachu's momentum as he got hit by a flying pebble out of nowhere, being inside a Sandstorm is very dangerous for pokemons who are not Ground, Rock, or Steel type, Pikachu who is an electric type will get hit by flying stones and pebbles from every direction so he will have to end this quickly.

Ash "Pikachu, stay focused and let's finish this quickly"

Ash also wants to end this fast, he knows he cannot let Pikachu stay inside the Sandstorm for much longer.
