Chapter 1087: A Price Too Big

Julian entered her room and looked around the room, he was captivated by all the colorful things present in her room, from beautifully designed dresses, colorful art, and unique-shaped statues.

Julian realized that Valerie has a knack for artsy stuff, he was not surprised as he thought that a massive designer like her might be into these kinds of stuff.

Valerie "Please wait here for a moment, I will be right back with those dresses you ordered"

Valerie said with a smile and walked away, he thought that he will have to wait here for a little while as he didn't expect her to bring those dresses here, he continued to look around the room and try to figure out why the art around him was so expensive.

He was not a very artistic person and he never understood the appeal of art that didn't look as impressive as the ones he sees on the internet cost millions of dollars, either he has no artistic vision, or these super famous artists are just ripping off others by splattering colorful paint on an empty canvas and they are no different from art that can be sold on the street.

He didn't have to wait for long as Valerie entered the room again with three folded dresses in her hand, she then stood in front of Julian and unfolded all three of them, Julian looked at the three dresses and was very impressed.

The cloth she used to make these dresses seems very expensive, the colors are vibrant and there also seem to be precious stones embedded in them.

Valerie picked up one of the dresses and put it in front of her to give Julian a visual of how it looks.

Valerie "What do you think?"

She asked with a smile on her face.

Julian "Really beautiful"

Julian replied.

Hearing him Valerie just giggled and put the dress away before packing them and handing it over to Julian.

Valerie "That will be 600000 Pokédollars"

She said without a flinch, hearing the price Julian was shocked.

Julian '600000 poke dollars, so one dress cost me 200000, holy shit, I would rather wear chainmail made of diamonds and that might cost less than this'

He thought as the edge of his lips twitched, even though he is extremely rich, he doesn't like spending money on expensive things at all, even his own clothes he is wearing right now doesn't cost more than 100 dollars, the only thing he likes to spend his money on is food, and the big purchases he has done has never exceeded 100000 poke dollars, he has so much money in his bank account that even he doesn't know much much he has and that is his liquid amount, the remaining money that his corporation earns and part of his earnings from it are all invested back into the corporation or the stock market.

Even though he has so much money, he still liked to keep it and not spend it, it was like a very big flex that only he cared about [Look how much money I have], but he really never showed it to anyone, it was like his own little secret, a personal flex and nothing else.

Julian "I thought I was getting a discount"

He said and he clearly remembered defeating Valerie and getting a discount on her designer dress.

Valerie "Of course, but that deal is off, you saw something which you shouldn't have, you caught me when I was the most vulnerable, and I think the show you got is worth the discount cut, don't you think?"

She said and this time locked the door behind her before going back to her activity.

He made his way down the corridor before finally arriving in front of Chloe's assigned room, he knocked on the room a few times before the door was opened by a woman with short black hair wearing glasses.

The woman glared at the tall man in front of her, she seems very annoyed right now, she has been sending away visitors from the morning, many people came and knocked on the door just to meet Chloe, but they were all rejected, by fans to different producers all came to meet her.

By now she has had enough, she coldly glared at Julian and went off.

"Don't you people have anything else to do, why do you keep bothering Ms. Chloe, she can't meet anyone, get lost!"

She yelled and slammed the door right on Julian's face, Julian was taken by surprise by this, he expected a warm hug and kiss from Chloe but he was greeted by her cold manager.

He chuckled and knocked on the door once again.
