Chapter 1088: The Feisty Manager

Julian knocked on the door again expecting another ear full but he also wanted to see the manager's reaction when she finds out who he really is.

The door was opened once again by the same woman, she looks really pissed right now, if looks could kill she would have exploded Julian's head with just her stare.

Manager "Why are you back, can't you understand what I said? Get lost"

She shouted again, Julian was not angry at her at all, she was just doing her job, and having such a scary manager is advantageous as annoying people will stay away from Chloe.

Julian smiled and looked at the manager before opening his mouth.

Julian "Are you sure, you want to yell at me?"

Manager "I can be mad at anyone I want, now get lost and don't waste miss Chloe's precious time"

She yelled again.

Julian "Ok now, calm down, are you sure you are not being too hot-headed right now, what if I was a very important person and you just offended me"

Julian teased with a light tone but the manager seems to be having none of it.

Manager "I don't care even if you are the president of the league, you can leave"

She yelled back, Julian is surprised once again, he didn't expect Chloe's manager to be so bold, even after giving her a clue she didn't budge.

"Mona, what is happening outside?"

Suddenly a soothing voice came from inside questioning the manager, Julian also just learned that the manager's name is Mona, he then heard footsteps coming towards them from inside and the smile on his face grew wider.

Mona "Miss Chloe, you shouldn't bother yourself, its just someone causing trouble"

She said and tried to stop Chloe but Chloe still made her way towards the door, when she got there she saw a tall man wearing a face mask and an orange jacket, she didn't even have to look for a second before the smile on her face bloomed wide and she rushed towards him and hugged him.

Mona was stunned by this, she didn't expect Chloe to hug this person, as she wondered who this person is, someone flashed in her mind, there could be only one person in this world who should be able to hug Chloe and that is none other than Julian.

As she realized who this person really was, her face went pale and she started to shake in fear, if Julian really got offended there is no way she is keeping this job, she just got it and she didn't want to lose such a good job.

Being the manager of one of the most popular actresses and models of this industry is a privilege to people like her and she can't believe she just ruined it by shouting at her boyfriend.

Chloe "Where were you, I was waiting for you"

She said and finally stopped hugging him.

Julian "I went to get this gift for you, Daisy and Cynthia"

He said and showed her the bag he was carrying in his hand.

Chloe "What is it?"

She asked and got curious.

Julian "Not now but after the show"

He said and walked into the room along with Chloe, Mona just stood there in fear, she didn't say anything as she didn't want to piss off Julian any further than she has already done.

Julian noticed that Mona was completely frozen and chuckled, her expression was similar to what he expected, Mona noticed Julian looking at her flinched in fright, she is now expecting a scolding and worse getting fired.

At the end of the day, if Chloe doesn't want her as her manager she will get fired.

Julian "No need to be so tense, you were just doing your job, I won't hold a grudge so don't worry"

Julian said and he didn't want to torture the poor woman anymore, Chloe and chuckled as she saw her manager so tensed up.

Chloe "Don't worry, he might be intimidating but he is very kind"

Chloe also tried to comfort her, Mona calmed down and was relieved that Julian was easygoing and didn't take her actions towards him very seriously.

Chloe "Mona go and bring us something to drink"

Chloe ordered. Mona nodded and walked out of the room leaving Julian and Chloe alone, Julian and Chloe talked before they were joined by Daisy as well, she shared this room with Chloe but was out due to some problem with the pokemons that needed some grooming.

After talking for a while both of them got busy as the show is about to begin in an hour, Julian also left their room as they need to prepare for the show, he didn't want to stay in their room and distract all the workers that will be entering the room.

He headed to the audience area and looked around before finally taking his seat in the VIP area, this area was closest to the walkway and from here he will be able to see all the models perfectly.

Julian couldn't wait as he wanted to see Chloe in those beautiful dresses, as time passed the seats around him started to get occupied as well, he could do nothing but just patiently wait for the show to begin.
