"Thank you for the help uhm..." the young man realized that he never got the name of the stranger who took time out of his day to help him out.
"I'm Xavier. It's no big deal," was what he said but in actuality, he did it for the money. That is — if gold even represented money. And there's seven different body parts it could be on which could translate the gold color to many things. Why couldn't Sato just teach him what everything meant?
He was beginning to regret not yanking his phone when he had the chance.
"I'm Ralph by the way. Would you like a cup of tea?" he offered. Ralph looked like he wasn't asking and was insisting for Xavier to accept.
Xavier thought to himself, 'People in this city sure love their tea huh?' He nodded his head for unknown reasons and Ralph disappeared into the store. He came back out a minute later with a cup of burning-hot tea that scorched Xavier's hand.
His arms were ready to give up at any moment but seeing how easy it was for Ralph to carry it over to him, he kept a straight face and said, "Thanks."
"It's the least I could for your assistance," Ralph said as he began sweeping the dirt and flower pedals. He took a glance at Xavier and asked, "You new around here?"
"What do you mean?" Xavier asked surprised by how the question came out of nowhere.
Ralph answered, "Well, if you were from here, you would not be dressed like that." He was pointing at the newly bought hoodie and floral shorts as he was saying that. "I heard that those kind of mismatch is more popular down south. We over here like to dress formally or wear clothes that has a scheme to them."
Xavier looked at the color scheme of Ralph's clothes and how every piece to his outfit had a connection to the rest.
"Down south... that's surprisingly spot-on. I come from Giga district," Xavier admitted as he handed the cup back to Ralph.
"Giga. That's pretty far from here. What business do you... I'm not trying to be nosy or anything. I was just curious. It's okay if you don't answer."

"No it's okay. I was visiting a friend."
"A friend? Well you must be very good friends to come all the way over to Valor for him."
"That is indeed true," Xavier said while grinding his teeth. "Sometimes, I feel like killing him though," he chuckled while saying it. It didn't sound like Xavier was joking though.
Ralph chuckled nevertheless and pulled out twenty dollars from his back pocket. "As a last thank you."
Xavier was tempted to grab it and cheer but he wanted to test the limits of the colors while at the same time keeping his dignity. "I didn't do it for a reward. Thank you for the generous thought though."
Ralph didn't put the money back into his pockets. "Just take it. It's not my money anyway. It's the store's money," Ralph insisted.
"Doesn't that mean I have even more reasons to decline? What if you get fired for this?" Xavier asked.
"Fired? Please... I'm the only person willing to work here. If it wasn't for me, this store would've went out of business already," Ralph declared. "So either you take it or I'll have to give it over to the trash."
Acting as though he was forced to finally accept, Xavier took the money and said, "Fine. I'll take it." He then looked at the clock that was hanging on the entrance and said, "I'm going to be late so... see you around."
Ralph waved him farewell and got back to working. Xavier walked down the block, turned the corner, and jumped like a video game character that just beat the level. "I was right," he said thinking about how much money he could potentially make from doing close to nothing as long as he chooses the right people to interact with.
But there were also limitations such as what the body parts meant. What if one of them meant they didn't have money or another meant they wanted money. The only for sure thing he knew was that the right arm was good.
Just as he was finished celebrating, he heard the sound of a text. He opened his phone and read a message from Sato. "Are you only planning on using your powers for a quick buck? Think bigger. Asshole. Who the hell does he think he is telling me that? It's not as if I was the one who decided to keep the other person in the dark," he complained not realizing how coincidentally the text was.
"But still, it would be really nice to know everything about these colors. As well as who the Kinghunters are," he whispered to himself thinking about the advice he received. He realized that maybe he could find out. After all, he heard that the library in Valor was also the biggest public archive in the world.
With the GPS on his phone, he made his way over to the library that was in the middle of everything. It was the size of a government building and there were hundreds of people going in and out at all times.
Entering the library he saw bookshelves that reached the roof and ladders that did the same. It looked crazy. People were everywhere looking for a specific book out of millions of books. Despite the cluster of people, it was dead silent.
The security guards with rifles on their back were probably why everyone was so quiet.
Making his way over to a worker, Xavier asked her, "Where can I find the archive?" The worker set down her book and gestured for him to follow. They were down at the basement of the library. She then took her leave as fast as she came.
Xavier sat down on a computer and searched up Kinghunters hoping to get a result. There were four cases in history where Kinghunters were present. Starting from the one closest to him, he pulled out the document titled, "King Arthur's demise". Reading it without missing a word, Xavier put it back disappointed. It was just a document about a group of knights that worked together to kill their king.
Moving on to the next, he was disappointed once again when he found out it was just documents about the same group of knights and their history starting from their origin to their disbanding.
Without any expectations, it wasn't as big as a letdown when the third set of documents was about a terrorist group known as the Kinghunters who would kill any influential people that claimed to be bigger than God.
Tired and without hope, Xavier pulled out the last document. He was no longer reading seriously and was just skimming through it when he stopped abruptly. He then traced his way back up until he founded the word that caught his attention, "Aneewere".
At first glance that didn't seem to be such an important word as it was just the name of a place and it probably was the case for everyone who has stumbled upon the document but for Xavier, this word was quite a big piece of the puzzle.
Xavier stilled remembered it strongly. It was engraved into his memories even. The day after they defeated the demon king. Xavier was happy because he had just obtained one of the best weapons in the game.
Wanting to celebrate it with his partner Blue Panda, he asked him if he wanted to go to a beginner map and just PK low-level players until they couldn't no more.
However Xavier was disappointed when Blue Panda told him that he had to leave, Convinced that he was being lied to, Xavier asked him where he was going and Blue Panda told him anywhere. Then they proceeded to have an argument about how anywhere wasn't a proper answer.
That was the first instance. The second instance was when they were shooting aliens in a PvE game. They had just failed the quest for the third time in a row. Xavier hungry for the limited-time sniper rifle was willing to go again but Blue Panda had already left.
When he texted him about it, Blue Panda responded that he had to go anywhere. Once again, they had an argument about how anywhere wasn't a proper location.
After that, there were around twenty more instances where Blue Panda left to go anywhere. Xavier had came to a conclusion that he didn't want to reveal too much personal information so he used anywhere as a substitute but now reading the document more carefully, Blue Panda was never being secretive. He was telling the truth. Every time he had to leave, it was to go to Aneewere.
Xavier read the document and only got a brief introduction. It spoke about a famous criminal who killed 143 people before getting caught. When asked how he was able to evade the law for so long, he spoke about how he came from Aneewere and that his teacher was one of the Kinghunters.
Marked as a psychopath, he was electrocuted to death. However when the cops entered the room, his body wasn't fried to crisp. Instead his body had turned pale grey and his organs were no longer there. People referred to him as the "Electric Snake" because of how his corpse looked like he shed his skin.
Xavier slid the document back into the shelf. He pulled out his phone and sent a text that simply read, "I'm going anywhere". He was hoping to get a shocked reaction from Sato but instead he got a useful reply which was normally wanted but now it seemed as though he was doing the opposite of what Xavier desired on purpose to annoy him.
'Catch the 66 bus and make an exit when the clock hits 5:07. Then sit down on the bench until the darkest hour of the night. When you hear the sound of galloping, close your eyes and say, "Take me Aneewere." Take the hand offered to you but keep your eyes shut at all time. Only when you hear a tiny bell ring should you open your eyes. Then you may do as you please,' read Xavier.
Unable to rush out of the library, Xavier felt his heart racing. The last stop in Valor for the 66 bus was in five minutes. It was also ten blocks down which was around a mile and a half. Without caring for cars or pedestrian, Xavier ran as he could not wanting to miss the bus.
Cutting corners instantly, and dodging incoming traffic, he was barely able to make it with his out of shape body. Had it been five years ago, it would've been a breeze but now, his stamina had been reduced by the ramen noodles.
Just three seconds after he arrived, the bus pulled up to the stop and the doors opened. Xavier took a second to take a deep breath before entering.
