Chapter 174 - Old Hag Syna & The Greatest Misunderstanding

The vampire princess knew that her friend needed someone to talk with, someone to cry upon the shoulder. She knew that no one could support Syna emotionally except her.

Thus, Lolita stayed back into the human Realm with Syna, she arrived to her room the very morning but after seeing her friend broken, the vampire princess was forced to recall the experience.

Hestia snapped back into the present, as she saw Syna zoned out and standing in the window. Her act of hitting the window pane brought back Lolita, the voice was loud enough to garner her attention.

She could imagine how Syna was feeling, possibly scolding herself and wanted to cheer her up, the same way Syna had embraced her in that difficult time.

Hestia was thankful to meet Syna, although she had intended to run away from her since the beginning but then again, one cannot change the fate.

"Hey! You old hag, you have trapped yourself here unnecessarily. Come on, Syna, cheer up girl!"

Hestia strode forward towards Syna, half jumping and leaping more likely hopping like a frog.

Her energetic voice rung throughout the air and Syna responded to her immediately. Though at first she jumped in her position due to the startling barging act of her friend, as usual.

Hestia wrapped her arms around Syna from behind, as she turned the cursed bride and tucked her chin on the shoulder. Syna knew what she had intended to do but of course it couldn't help to seal the wide crack in her heart.

But Syna didn't want her to worry anymore, although she made up excuses and lies to tell to Mr Lorenzo and Mr Benz, but every single soul in the orphanage could sense her troubling mind with a single glance at her face.

"Hey, you nagging bitch! I'm not an old hag, okay, humph!"

Syna pouted angrily upon the remark that Hestia had made earlier and returned a similar addressing to her.

"Oh yeah? Then this stinky hag would prove it, by going on shopping with me?"

Hestia raised one eyebrow while challenging Syna, knowing that it was the best way to cheer her up.

"Right now?"

Hestia nodded in the reply.

"Wait then, I'm coming after a bath. Only a few minutes."

Syna immediately turned to rush towards the bathroom, knowing that she actually needed something to cheer her up in true sense.

Nothing could make women happy more than shopping, a mood elevator.

After Syna was gone Hestia created a connection between herself and Hades, the lady needed to inform him about the current situation.

"I have persuaded Syna for shopping, hopefully it would help.  Moreover, the illusion charm is working effectively no one including Syna suspected anything. See you soon hubby."

Syna was unaware of the curse which had fallen onto her on the day she fainted.

Braille Matteo Leste had known all the shields and protection charms around Syna, she needed something which could make Syna loose her importance in Sinclair's eyes.

She couldn't harm Syna because of the charms but of course she could temper with Sinclair's stuff, no? Phobe had provided her a forbidden potion which could turn a person's appearance to hideously horrible state.

The lady had mixed it in the tea which Sinclair had magically sent for Syna in his office, how? I don't think so it was any hard for a vampire princess, having some powers.

As soon as Sinclair had left the realm, the curse got activated because of their first intimate act. Only Hades and Hestia were aware of this, the brother came up with a solution to create a powerful illusion.

Only the duo was able to see Syna's old appearance, the rest of the world including Syna herself was living under the illusion.

Was it right to take a decision on Syna's behalf?

Was it a right thing to hide from Syna?

Everyone was directly and indirectly trying to protect her, but still each person was hurting her somehow.

What would happen when she would come across this truth?

Many things were remaining to get unfold before her, which included the biggest secret.

Her past life.

The deadly sin of killing her own husband.

Ghost Lord's identity.

Who is Brandon Brighton, to her actually?

Sisters by blood, Hestia and Braille.

The relationship between Hades and Hestia.

And now the curse initiated by Braille Matteo Leste.

"One more...I think we should buy one more. Don't know when the need will arrive."

Rooted to the tiles Sinclair MacLaverty was deep in thoughts, with Jade Lombardi standing by his side in the ninth lane of the mall, selecting the packs of something.

He shoved the trolley towards the tenth lane after they both had picked up a few baby wipes and moved towards the baby food corner and selected two flavours.

"Strawberry and other should be...how about honey one? It will be better to change after some time, no? I remember you, giving only one to your boy. At least change some this time, have mercy on my nephew."

The trolley was filled with same kind of stuff used for specific purpose. Sinclair was about to turn towards the cashier counter, when he felt that someone was following them. Immediately he averted her gaze but found no one.

Shook his head and paid the bill. Of course, he couldn't let his pregnant cousin to worry,  when she had to give birth tonight. Vampire babies were different from humans and the Lord had to accompany her, as a compensation for his behaviour earlier on that day in office.

"Let's visit Lombardi now."

His face was beaming with joy, after knowing that Jade had forgiven him, she took out the bags from trolley and hung them on his arm. They both sprinted out of the market, and headed towards the garage.

[After a few minutes of drive]

They reached the manor as the car halted in front of the huge iron gate. Sinclair walked up to the door and banged gently.

"How come both of you are so late, you lazy asses!? Now come inside."

Lombardi's fake angry voice greeted them and a smile creased Jade's face, while a soft chuckle left Sinclair's lips.

[ Back in the orphanage ]

"How dare he....."

Syna was sitting in the bed, her eyes glued to the cell phone, hoping that Sinclair would call her, hoping that a number would glow up on the screen.

She was continuously changing her comfortable position to another. What she had witnessed today took her by utmost shock. Sweat was popping through her hair and fire boiled up in every cell upon recalling the scene. She felt her as if her heart had gotten filled with flood of despair.

"He...He sure had a baby with that chick! Those...ugh!"

Yes, Sinclair had bought some diapers and baby food, and nothing else. Unluckily Syna had seen them both while she went out for shopping with Hestia.

She was raging like a bull when the door opened and she stood up immediately. Her body was shaking with anger, clearly she didn't know what to do. All she had acknowledged till now was that she had some sort of feelings for Sinclair but maybe she was going to change.

Now the thing which was leading her towards Sinclair was jealousy and hatred. And now that she had found out that he had a baby with that serpent, Syna's ire got boiled. First she had suspected him but after seeing them together she had confirmed her hunch.

She scoffed upon remembering how Sinclair behaved like an obedient, innocent child around her. Which made her ponder whether he still didn't know what she felt for him, or Sinclair MacLaverty had played with her since the beginning.

Sinclair had returned to human Realm after meeting with vampire noble Lord Iñigo De Raizel, but as soon as he stepped into the realm Jade Lombardi had called out to him.

The female cousin knew that they both needed to talk, of course it was a stupid and childish act from those two a.d.u.l.ts, to drag the matter any more.

Jade had narrated everything to her husband who was friends with Sinclair MacLaverty too, and suggested his wife to come clear with Sinclair as soon as he returns to the realm.

Sinclair was also aware of what had happened earlier but did not get a chance to talk to her, because of the great mishap happened with the defensive shield of his kingdom.

The Lord of Spirit Realm knew that his kingdom needed his attention the most in that critical situation, so he rushed back to confront Braille and Jason.

He scolded himself badly and wanted to smack his head into the wall after hearing how Jason had lost the key, thus in the middle of such ruckus he didn't get a chance to talk to his cousin.

Jade Lombardi was well aware of the place where the portal would appear in the human realm, the specific spot was a gateway between various kingdoms and supernatural realms.

The pregnant Ghost princess insisted on waiting on the cliff, in the midst of the greenery and cool breeze to meet her cousin lord. While Lombardi had to leave upon the sudden call of Vampire King, perhaps the king wanted to discuss the whereabouts of his both daughters.

Maybe he had regretted his decision and now wanted a family meet up.

Many things were taking place in every kingdom, each realm had some activity going on but the dangerous mess was residing somewhere in another forbidden dark black hole.
