Chapter 175 - Duty Of The Guardian, Hestia.

Unknown to Jade Lombardi that her waiting decision in the cliff and the persistence towards Sinclair MacLaverty, to accompany her with the shopping would bring out such disastrous results.

Although, she had always defended Syna by consistently saying,  precisely stressing on the premise that Syna had attempted murder just because she was under some spell.

But it seemed unknown to everyone that who had casted the horrible spell, until Syna herself committed suicide afterwards.

Yes.

The bride was cursed because of the murderous attempt.

She got the punishment in form of no memories of past, because of the forbidden act of suicide.

But I ask you, was it an actual punishment for her?

Or was the Goddess a little merciful enough to grant her a second life and on the top of it, she was again destined to be the wife of Sinclair MacLaverty.

Do you think that missing a huge chunk of memory brought her happiness?

Or the things had worsened itself with every single act performed by others and it greatly affected her life.

Her sobbing sound was echoing in the quiet room among those walls, dipped into snow pink paint. In the midst of such a refreshing color which indicated her happy childhood and pampered days, the lady was sitting with a broken heart.

A child born with the curse destined to marry the Ghost King, was pampered her whole life till the exact time arrived, for her to leave the home.

But the question arises here is that, how Mr Lorenzo was aware of everything?

The old man had known the curse and Syna's past life too, but how?

Was he an ordinary human or not?

Of course, not.

Mr Lorenzo was appointed in the royal court as the Grand minister for Syna's father. Apparently he had seen Syna born, followed her in the teens to personally teach the lady, guiding her the ethics of the royal court and making the future queen of Rosario Realm aware of the duties towards the kingdom and family.

The Goddess took mercy and he was reborn with the clear memories of past life, similarly all other people who had belonged to Syna and somehow were connected to her in the previous life.

Thus, he was assigned the greatest responsibility to take care of the princess once again and that was the reason he was well aware of the current situation.

He had grown the fatherly feelings regarding the lady and now what mishap had happened to her earlier, made his heart shrunk with sadness. Mr Lorenzo felt the similar feeling as of a father and hated himself deep down that he couldn't do anything for his daughter.

Syna was sitting in the bed, her eyes glued to the cell phone, hoping that Sinclair would call her, hoping that a number would glow up on the screen to pull the lady out of the darkness.

She was continuously changing her comfortable position to another. What she had witnessed today took her by utmost shock. Sweat was popping through her hair and fire boiled up in every cell upon recalling the scene. She felt her as if her heart had gotten filled with flood of despair.

"I should not have trusted him, it is indeed all my fault. How could I?"

Syna brought her legs closer to chest as she ducked her head inside the knees, the lady could not help but to cry over and over again.

But was it worth to cry over spilled milk?

I mean according to Syna whatever had happened to her was solely her fault, that she believed in him.

Hestia wanted to console her friend but didn't know what to say, what to do which could bring Syna out of the miserable condition, because the bride was continuously shedding tears on her foolishness.

The banished vampire princess halted outside the door of Syna's room, she could hear her friend sobbing and suppressing her sniffs.

Hestia wanted to wring off Sinclair's neck at once, but she was not actually sure of what Syna had witnessed. Lolita was well aware that Syna was under some kind of spell that had turned her appearance old, precisely ugly.

Lolita thought that it was possible that Syna would have gotten some old age diseases, after all the lady was an ordinary human being. Thus, she could not simply teleport into Spirit Realm to confront Sinclair MacLaverty, unknown to the reality that he was the original Ghost Lord.

"Syna?"

Hestia called out to her with love, in a polite tone as if she had believed in her friend. A gentle knock followed her worry creased voice, when Lolita did not hear a single sound except Syna's feeble sobs.

"Syna, honey, please open the door for once."

Lolita paused for a moment to see whether Syna was ready to talk or not but no voice or remark echoed in the air to assure Hestia.

She knocked once again gently.

"Syna please, open up."

A silence accompanied with a long pause, Hestia could hear the sniffing sound due to her sharp vampire abilities.

Hestia knew how to deal with her friend, after all she was her guardian and now after spending so many years with Syna, Lolita knew what could motivate her.

"Buckle up Syna!"

She banged the door loudly and shouted out to Syna, that her hyper energetic voice startled the sobbing lady inside.

"Come on! You weren't such a cry baby, remember how you dealt with those boys who had dared to court you?"

Hestia deliberately brought up such things that Syna had done in her teen years, She was well aware that what words could boost Syna's morale.

Moreover, those years were Syna's proud time in which she had all the boys wrapped around her pinkie finger, not in the sense of romantic thought rather the lady held a delinquent title and every boy in the area feared her.

The haughty nature of Syna brought boys to their knees, that they followed her around as if she was the gang leader having Lolita aka Hestia as the cold, icey bodyguard and guardian.

"Remember how easily you used to deal with tho sc.u.ms? How can you give up so suddenly without even trying to teach a lesson to that bastard?"

Hestia chuckled softly with a complaining voice, yet some sort of mocking was hinting from the way she was buckling up Syna. She knew that her words would stop Syna from crying for sure, if it could not lessen her pain which was eating the lady from inside.

Slowly and torturous killing.

Syna was feeling that something hard as a lump was stuck into her throat, which was still not moving an inch despite her constant trials of forgetting Sinclair.

No matter how hard she was trying to not to think about the CEO, the more she was being drawn to him.

The mate bond was working its magic so effectively that Syna was unable to hate Sinclair MacLaverty, despite his infidelity she could not bring herself to burst out her anger on him, let alone cursing him.

Indeed she was in love with him.

Deeply.

Madly.

And unconditionally.

But…

Have you wondered that Sinclair was able to get a clear emotional establishment with Syna earlier, how come he did not sense her presence in the mall?

They both had shared a bond of affection, a vow of love which had became stronger, then why Sinclair MacLaverty was not able to sense anything from Syna?

Indeed the same thing had happened with the bride too but she was deeply immersed into the state of emotional breakdown, that Syna did not feel anything strange.

Earlier she was able to connect herself with him via telepathy, Syna could sense his presence around her, whenever Sinclair MacLaverty was in the human Realm the lady could feel some strange feelings of security.

But everything was changed now.

There was no bond.

No attachment.

No telepathic communication.

But was the mate bond still there?

"Open up! You can't just keep on crying and give up. I know Syna, you are listening me and you know this too, that you are NOT like those women who holds back everything and simply forgives."

Hestia's motivating speech again pricked her ears, the words seemed more like a provoking intentional act, to force Syna not to give up rather take revenge for hurting her.

She deliberately emphasized the word 'not', to remind Syna that the way she was currently behaving, was not her usual self.

Lolita actually chose those words to make her realise that she was giving up easily, which was definitely not her usual nature.

"He had hurt you okay, you know HURT YOU. You simply cannot forgive him, open the door and take your ass out immediately. We have to confront and take revenge on that bastard!"

Again she raised her voice intending to boost Syna's flickering hatred by turning it into a raging anger, as she forced her to recall what misery she had just experienced.

Was she breaking them apart?

Definitely not.

Hestia knew that Syna would take the bait because to manipulate someone in their weakest hour, was something an easy peasy task. She was well aware of her haughty and hyperactive personality, combined with rational decisions taken impulsively.

No wonder why the Goddess had placed the both ladies together, if Syna was fire then Hestia could be considered calm as water.

They were each other's support system.

That's why both of the girls were brought together, to put in accurate terms the ladies were destined to be together, the opposites of their personalities were supposed to teach the other person the true meaning of life.

Lolita knew that her excessive emphasis and continuous reminding would gradually cast a great effect on Syna and she would be forced to open the door immediately.

But I ask you, was it a right way to handle the things?

Or perhaps unintentionally and unknowingly Syna's feelings regarding Sinclair MacLaverty, might have changed because of Hestia's words?

It could possible that the vampire princess might have taken a naive decision of attempting such words to lure her friend out of the room.

Not an impossible theory actually.

She might have triggered an unsettling flicker of hatred which now had sprouted and grown into a wildfire within her.
