Chapter 180 - Who's The Culprit?

Sinclair was well aware of the need that now he had to rush towards Syna, the dire need to clear up the things was still pending due to the meeting with vampire noble Lord.

But what had happened earlier between those two?

Why the hell vampire noble Lord Iñigo De Raizel, had demanded Sinclair's presence out of the blue?

"I heard Syna is doing fine now, you must meet her soon and clear up the things with the poor soul. She deserves to know about our relationship and my marital status."

Jade Lombardi was sitting comfortably on the sofa while her husband was plopped by her side, holding his wife by shoulders. The ghost princess was supposed to give birth either that night or tomorrow, that's why Jade needed the basic things for her baby.

Of course, vampire babies were different but as Jade's child was half vampire and half ghost, he would be born strong. Her pregnancy period was different from humans, that's why the lady was roaming around the market comfortably.

"Yes, yes, I will talk to her tomorrow."

Lord Sinclair MacLaverty placed the cup back onto the neatly polished wooden table, as he stood up from the opposite sofa.

"I should get going now, and inform me about the arrival of my niece soon."

Lord Sinclair winked at Lombardi meaningfully, of course Jade's son was going to have a sister now, the boy had gone out to school.

The door closed behind him as soon as he stepped out of the apartment and strode down to the parking lot, to get his car.

"Don't worry Syna, I am coming and everything will return back to normal."

Sinclair's grip around the steering became strong as he muttered to himself and drove back to his mansion, where he expected his bride would be waiting for his arrival.

He was totally unaware that how late he had gotten now, his return after two days had completely changed a few things which included Syna's feelings towards him and her appearance of course.

In between the ruckus as Syna didn't notice that she was unable to feel Sinclair, similarly the Lord didn't pay heed that he also couldn't sense his bride.

'I'm coming to meet you!'

•••

"Isabella? Isabella, where is Syna?"

Sinclair quickly shot downstairs with a horror struck expression as he didn't find his bride there, up in the room.

Syna was neither in his room nor hers, he hurriedly glided down and confronted Isabella.

"Oh, master? When did you arrive and you didn't inform me?"

The lady totally neglected the question of her own master, but of course, she knew Sinclair MacLaverty would not punish ber at all.

Dressed elegantly, she was cooking in the kitchen when he had arrived and of course, Sinclair's priorities were changed now. The only person on his mind was Syna Rhys, thus the Lord went straight upstairs to look for his bride.

"Just now, leave this. Where is Syna?"

Sinclair approached her and questioned immediately, to which her eyes widened and a concerned expression appeared.

"Master, she went back to her house with Ms Lolita, the very day you left."

The lady emphasized the last part a little, by changing her tone. Although, Sinclair MacLaverty didn't notice it, rather responded after thinking for a while.

"Uh? Okay."

He knew that now the best time to meet his wife was to wait for the dawn because it was already nightfall and Syna must have already slept by that time.

Meanwhile on the other side, Syna was sobbing in her bed under the quilt. It was an unbearable shock for her, she didn't know whether to unleash her anger on Hestia or not. After all whatever she did was all for her own good because the vampire princess was aware that Syna wouldn't be able to swallow such a thing in her life.

Syna was feeling bad about everything, rage towards Sinclair MacLaverty for dumping her just because she had been cursed with this ugly appearance. The cursed bride resented the person in her heart who had activated that forbidden curse, which didn't have any known counter spell yet.

Unknown to her that Braille Matteo Leste was already been confronted by Sinclair MacLaverty once, for pulling down the guarding shield of the Spirit kingdom. She must not have been prepared for another ruthless meet up with Sinclair MacLaverty, which could be merciless this time.

Because her foolish attempt of cursing Syna would eventually blow up his mind, wouldn't he know the culprit right away? Of course, he would because the only person who was poisoned with the venom of jealousy was Braille Matteo Leste, the crowned princess of the vampire kingdom.

Or was there some other person out there, who might have an unsettled grudge?

Syna had never imagined that her life would turn out this way, she blamed herself for the tragedy because despite Mr Lorenzo's warning she rejected the proposal of Ghost Lord.

Instead, she seduced his 'younger brother' and insisted on to marry Sinclair MacLaverty. Syna wouldn't bring herself up to any solution rather just cried silently under the sheets by stuffing the corner of the cloth into her mouth.

She couldn't let Lolita feel guilty about what she had done, while she was sleeping by her side. The thought of asking for help from the Ghost Lord crossed her mind but then again, how would she face him now when accordingly her assumption, that the lord had already stepped back after hearing Sinclair's interest within her.

How foolish of her to assume rather just clearing with Sinclair MacLaverty, which she avoided as not to stir a trouble between brothers.

Accordingly her, a few things are better when they stay unsaid.

A saddened golden heart was beating within her ugly self while crying.

What a combination of nature!

What a cunning play of the goddess!

Everything could have been resolved by coming clear on the terms, the only solution was 'negotiation'.

But the fools were assuming things rather talking about the problems with each other.

With their foolishness, time was also taking the leap by placing various hindrances in their relationship, by dragging them apart.
