Sinclair MacLaverty was well aware of the critical situation he had fallen into unknowingly, all because he had to pay a visit urgently to the vampire noble Lord.

As now he was back in the human realm, and was ready to face Syna. Sinclair immediately strode towards the washroom to get a quick bath, before he could meet Syna any soon.

Taking out a casual dress, perfectly fitted to meet in laws, Sinclair MacLaverty threw the purple shirt and blue jeans on the bed sheet.

Wasn't his taste changed after paying a secret visit to the noble vampire Lord?

I mean everyone could have said the same, seeing Sinclair MacLaverty pulling out a purple shirt rather choosing some other...more manly colour!

But how could he refuse the gift from Iñigo De Raizel, of course he had to give Sinclair MacLaverty a memento for their meeting. Something that could justify the gay personality of the lord and doesn't arouse suspicion regarding their secret meeting.

The Lord had informed Sinclair MacLaverty about what he had desired, which made Sinclair more cautious than before.

As soon as Sinclair entered the room complaining about how he was treated at Iñigo's castle, he witnessed the royal lord sitting in the midst of the bed wearing a silk red night robe.

"I didn't know that I would get ridiculed by your men, Lord Iñigo De Raizel. I'm deeply hurt, sire!"

Sinclair's voice rose a little with a complaining tone, as soon as the wooden door closed behind him with a feeble creak.

"I apologise, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty, that you had to experience such humiliation from my naive men. Tell me how can I be forgiven?"

Lord Iñigo De Raizel, the powerful noble vampire master, asked for forgiveness. The sight was not a thing that a person would witness every day.

The ruthless, cruel vampire was known never to surrender let alone portraying himself as weak.

Then why did he deliberately put on the act in front of Sinclair MacLaverty?

Was it actually an act?

Or a genuine remark?

Why did Lord Iñigo was not behaving like his usual self?

Rather placing himself below Sinclair MacLaverty, within those walls!

But was the term true to describe him or the situation?

Lord Sinclair MacLaverty wasn't aware of the situation inside, as he hadn't been in contact with Lord Iñigo nor he had seen him before.

But he was totally aware of the circ.u.mstances, he regretted the words which had slipped from his lips earlier.

Sinclair couldn't bring himself to move an inch or to utter any words, of course he was totally aware of the outcome of the disobedience.

His foot remained glued to the ground, Iñigo's demonic red eyes were penetrating into Sinclair's body.

'F.u.c.k! I shouldn't have come!'

Sinclair cursed himself without stepping forward because ebbing was definitely not a chance now.

He could feel two preying red orbs bore into his body, which made him shiver once for all. Iñigo had a notorious reputation as a gay lord who was skilled into mastery of foreseeing the future, being so powerful the man was feared a lot despite his gay status.

"I- I…"

Sinclair MacLaverty couldn't form the words and got reduced to stuttering before he could speak something in response.

"Haha! Don't be surprised by my….uh, this seductive robe. You know, I need this strategy to mingle with people…."

Lord Iñigo De Raizel grabbed his robe and narrated the explanation for his seductive look.

"To make friends, well...you can say….but I'm failing most of the time, as I failed just now."

Lord Iñigo De Raizel lifted his eyes up towards Sinclair MacLaverty, who was himself a king but in front of that vampire noble he didn't stand a chance.

"Uh? I- I apologize, my lord."

Sinclair immediately bowed down on one knee, which forced Iñigo to shot up from the bed.

"Oh, it's okay, Lord Sinclair. There is no need for such formalities."

Lord Iñigo stepped forward towards him, Sinclair didn't expect this and was taken off guard which made him fall back haphazardly.

The act made Lord Iñigo to halt where he was, Sinclair's reaction wasn't a surprising thing to vampire noble because he had been facing it since decades.

Lord Iñigo heaved a deep sigh and then faced Sinclair.

"Don't be afraid, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty. I'm not going to harm you and definitely not going to take advantage of you, because I'm straight!"

"What!?"

Lord Sinclair completely ignored the other information about the vampire noble Lord, which was of course a personal thing but Sinclair was completely zoned out due to the fear that he didn't notice.

His eyes which were fixated on Iñigo's red orbs, suddenly widened upon the realization when Sinclair shot up from the ground in disbelief, his mouth hung open.

"Pfft! Haha, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty I didn't expect this shocking reaction from you but I'm assuring that I am straight."

Lord Iñigo's feeble giggle turned into a loud laughter, as he wholeheartedly chuckled like an ordinary human.

Whilst the guards outside were silently praying for Sinclair's unscathed return, of course they were unable to hear a single sound from inside.

"Then….then why have you called me?"

Sinclair's question was laced with puzzling remark, of course what was the point of calling him when Iñigo didn't intend to take advantage of him!

"Well, I had a few things to tell you, Lord Sinclair MacLaverty, which I believe should be in your knowledge because it requires the matter of safety and survival of the Spirit Realm."

Lord Iñigo De Raizel, scratched his cheek with a little longer nail of his index finger, as he narrated the reason why had called Sinclair MacLaverty all the way to meet him in another realm.

"What do you mean by safety and survival? Please, be clear in your words, Lord Iñigo."

Sinclair's concerned voice brought a smile on Iñigo's face, sure enough the Lord was worried about his kingdom and it aroused his desire to know whatever the noble vampire knew.

"Actually, Spirit Realm is under the threat of great war, an unknown enemy is approaching and I can foresee bloodshed and destruction. All I can inform you that....the serpent is still residing in your castle!"

Lord Iñigo filled him in with whatever information he could provide to him in hints, that was all he could tell to Sinclair.

"Uh! I don't know how can I express my gratitude to you for informing this."

Sinclair's mind immediately clicked on Braille's meeting with the mysterious man, and the failing of guard shield.

"Oh, about that….just take the packet with you. It's a gift for you."

Lord Iñigo pointed out towards a wrapped gift near by on the table, and smiled brightly at Sinclair.

As soon as he left the room, Lord Iñigo's expressions turned dark and his eyes flashed red while the door closed with his grinning gesture.

"Silly! It seems I have to wait a little longer for you, my mate!"

It seemed as if Lord Iñigo De Raizel was aware of everything, of course he was the only person around for centuries and had the mastery of foreseeing the future.

The vampire noble Lord was the only individual who had the flashes of the furure and could see the destruction approaching but was not allowed to interfere with the nature's decision, let alone to defy it or attempt to change the destiny of others and of course, his too.
