"Come on guys! We are here!" My uncle yells at us.
Everyone in the back seat looked at where we were. it was a huge pond, decorated with an array of plants and trees. We can see the somewhat muddy water moving because of the fish.
"Oooh! This looks amazing!" I can see Charles's eyes sparkling.
"Not really..." Rose sighs. "Now that I mention it I really hate the outdoors. I don't even know why I joined."
We all got out of the car. Leaving the driver there who seems to be an emotionless person. I didn't bother it and we decided to rent the boats there. A few people there were fishing as well. This is a really famous fishing spot. We all hear the screams of the joy of innocent children being forced to fish by their parents.
"Remember when you were a kid? You hated fishing because you prefer to stay at home and fiddle with your phone." My uncle turns to me.
"Oh right.. now that's why I can relate to these kids." I laugh.
"MOM I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE I WANT TO GO PLAY MY PLAYSTATION. NOOOO" We see a young boy getting dragged to the boat.
"Yup those were the good old days. Remember when I had to drag you to the car since you won't leave." My uncle and I both laugh at my childhood days.
"Although. I always thought that fishing was very boring and I never really liked it. I guess it's the people I was with that changed my perspective of it." I say to him.
"Indeed. We would often share stories, we really talk a lot when we fish because waiting for the fish is long." My uncle giggled.
"I guess forcing me to do this was the right thing. I wouldn't have known I liked doing it if I wasn't forced to like that kid over there who seems to be having a fistfight with his mother." I chuckled.
This really gives me nostalgia, the fishing rods, the smell of the trees in the air as the wind blows our boat as we fish. It's just as I remembered.
"By the way. According to the boat. Only two people can be in the boat. So we'll have to split up." Charles says to everyone.
"Oh! I'll be in the same boat as my Daddy George! I'm such a newbie and I really need your help..." Rose snuggled up to my uncle.
"No. I'm going with my uncle back off," I whisper to Rose who gives me a pouty sad face.
"Please... I can't fish.. I need someone to teach me." Rose gave me a little smirk.
"Don't worry Rose! I don't know how to fish as well... An instructor can teach us we go to the boats!" Charles says to Rose in an attempt to cheer her up but she wasn't really upset about the fact she can't fish.
"Rose, for now, I'd love to teach you but I really want to talk to Lisa you know? I haven't talked to her for quite a while. Can we both share a boat?" My uncle pats Rose's head. "Fine!" She says like a kid having a tantrum.
"Alright then." I simply nodded and my uncle and I got boats while Charles and Rose were taught by the instructor on how to fish before their boat was released.
My uncle puts everything we needed the baits, fishing rods and such into the boat.
"Don't forget the water! Stay dehydrated!" He says to me as I grab the 3 litters of water. Yes, my uncle really loves water. He is thirsty like that.
We jumped into the boat and got to a spot where there was no one around and it was just us and the breeze.
"It's been long since we did this. Let's set up our pole. It takes a while to grab fish after all. I set up my own rod and he sets up his own. Putting the bait which was worms into the hook and then casting it in the water.
"Wow, good job. You can actually do it now." My uncle pats my shoulders.
"I've been able to do it for a long time now" I respond to him.
He sat down and I sat down to the chairs on the boat. He turns to me "So how's college life? Have you gotten a boyfriend?" He asks me.
"Haha! No uncle! Also, I didn't really know college was this crazy..." I say to him timidly.
"Oh, what do you mean? Is something wrong?" His eyebrows raised. He was always nosy with my life so I'm pretty sure if I don't tell him he'll just try to pry it from me.
"Uncle since I treat you like my father. I'll tell you my issues and stuff since I don't really tell my moms my problems. You see a lot has happened... A lot of really weird things..." I say.
"Is it boy trouble?" His eyes gleamed.
"No uncle," I say to him sighing. Ugh. He really likes me to have a boyfriend...
I've been really keeping these things because I really just don't want drama but I really wanna tell someone...
"Actually a lot has happened lately... and I'm just not sure what to make out of it," I say to him.
"Well you can tell and pinkie promise I'll never share it with anyone." He winked. "Ugh, sure fine it's not like I have a choice any way you don't really know privacy uncle George." I flick his nose.
"I'm really scared of Charles..." I say to him shivering.
"You mean that blonde guy who treated us to this fishing trip? Why? He seems like a nice guy and a boyfriend material for you." He says to me confused.
"No.. again with the boyfriend thing. Anyways like.. there have been creepy things going around with him. Firstly the first time I met him, he saved me from kidnappers."
"Oh isn't that good? He's chivalrous too." He interrupts me.
"But for some odd reason, he always knows where I am. He knew my dorm room at Golden Crown Academy (Chapter 5: Prince Among Men) and at Roseberry University (Chapter 46: Three Sorority Girls) without me telling it and not only that but I had a nightmare about him." I say with my knees shaking.
"What happened in your dream?" My uncle asked.
"Charles confessed to me and when I rejected him, he murdered Rose and my mom. He also brought Matthew's decapitated head and killed me... It was a horrible night terror. (Chapter 7: Just a Dream)" I say to him...
"Perhaps it's just a dream, Lisa... I don't think Charles is really that type of person." My uncle pats my shoulders and comforts me.
"And... that's not all. When I came to his house I heard a little girl's voice faintly in a room. He told us we weren't allowed to go there but the little girl said "Help me" I've been really suspicious about it."(Chapter 15: Card Games) also... there's this microchip thing called B.A.M and Matthew told me it's a behavior modifier it forced whoever is used by it to change personalities.. could it be that Charles's parents used that on him and they are also using it on the little girl...(Chapter 47: Parental Discipline)" I say concerned and afraid
"Lisa... that's fine... calm down. It's okay to be afraid of things but in the end... Charles really seems to be a great guy. I don't think he would harm anyone." My uncle reassures me.
"I guess... also there's more... that's not only what I'm scared of." I say to him.
"Oh wait there's more?" My uncle looked at me very surprised.
"For some reason... I've been feeling that somebody has been watching me when we were going to the car... which I am really scared of. (Chapter 49: New Friends)" I say to him.
"Mhm." My uncle nodded, he signaled for me to speak more.
"Also... for some reason when I went to Kitty Cafe... there's been a lot of terrible things that happened... for once... Alex and Rose... I don't know what happened to them but after a few moments meeting me they start to feel sick..." I say to him.
"Maybe they are really just sick you know?" He says with a hint of skepticism.
"I mean it could be but they got sick the moment they ate something. Being the banana bread (Chapter 41: Are they really friends) and the milkshake (Chapter 43: Face-Off) but both of that food I ate and I was fine... so I'm really just confused... also what I'm really scared about is that the kitten I touched and a pet named Blaze is in a terrible condition right now... He had bruises and severe injuries.. and we were the last one that got to see him... (Chapter 46: Three Sorority Girls)." I sigh.
Really I've been hiding everything and just playing it off but I think it's time to tell someone...
