"Your college life is really crazy, isn't it? Even crazier than mine that's for sure." My uncle says trying to console me.
"Also... that's not really all that's happened..." I sigh and I stuttered...
"It's fine.. if it's a bit traumatic... I'm here for you... you don't have to tell me.." He rubbed my back comforting me.
I should say it... but wouldn't it be weird to tell my uncle these things... about the time I almost got kidnapped but luckily Charles saved... (Chapter 4: Is this Prince Charming)
or that time when a bunch of guys who were attracted to the pheromones went around like a bunch of zombies and tried to get me wanting to do who knows what with me. I was extremely scared that their naughty dead eyes looked at me with such lust. (Chapter 3: Pheromone Incident)
And that time where the rumors got so bad that I have been avoided by a lot of people and called me names when I entered Roseberry University because apparently it looks like I stole Fred from Mika which I did not. (Chapter 37: High School All Over Again)
I was left there humiliated...hurt.. embarrassed... they would say terrible words that cut beneath my soul. Words that leave scars that last forever... that's what they did to my door as they carved a note with insults to remind me of it... (Chapter 44: The Worst Kind Of People)
And how I'm being blackmailed... by seemingly a deranged person who has shown no empathy whatsoever in the well being of others... her eyes they look as if she was empty and hollow as if she's never experienced love before... and how she says her plans on an attempt to break my wellbeing and my friend's sanities and driving us to the edge of suicide with such percision.. just proves my point that she is nothing but a psychopath... (Chapter 48: Let's Be Friends)
Now.. I'm forced to be friends with her. Stuck and trapped because she knows she has the power and she isn't afraid to let me know... just because she wants and likes my uncle. She wants to torment me because of your uncle. It is not something I can just say to him... (Chapter 49: New Friends)
"Lisa... are you sure you are okay?" My uncle turns to me. I can see he is very concerned.
I didn't notice that I was sweating... my uncle turns to me wanting me to answer.
I...
"I'm okay..." I say to him.
"Surely this isn't the only experience you got from college? Ask yourself are you happier now or were you happy when you were at high school." He said to me those words which struck me like ocean waves...
When I was in high school. I felt alone, depressed and no one wanted to be near me. Everyone never bothered to give me any attention, they just bullied me which forced me to become a total outcast.. but now that I think about it. College is the same... I'm still being harassed, tormented and bullied.. but.
I had friends that were there for me.
"Actually. I am happier now. High school was nothing but hell for me although I still experience the same things.. this time I had friends that were there for me." The mood starts to brighten up.
"Oh tell me more about what you did with your friends?" My uncle chuckled.
"Nina the nurse of Golden Crown Academy forced us to go to a cafe called Pink Cherry cafe. It was the first time I went to a cafe or anywhere with a group of people. I enjoyed my time there even if Rose and Fred were teasing me."(Chapter 9: Rose The Pervert) I say to him which puts a big smile on his face. He seems really proud of me.
"I ate in a fancy dinner with Charles and Fred. We ate escargot and we talked about a lot of stuff. We were a little grossed out with the escargot but it tasted delicious. The first time I ate with somebody other than my family back then I'll just sit in the back of the class eating while everyone talked." (Chapter 31: The Prince and The Bad Boy)
"Well honestly. It's more pleasant to hear your pleasant experiences rather than the bad ones Lisa. Sometimes it's best to focus on the silver lining. Don't acknowledge the bad things." My uncle says to me. "Although I am quite unfamiliar with your friends... mind telling all of them to me and how did you meet with them." He adds.
"Well, the first time I entered Golden Crown Academy I met the Chancellor and Dean who were very nice to me. Although Chancellor was known to be a bit promiscuous while Dean was a stone-cold person." (Chapter 1: Hot Chancellor)
"Oh, you are friends with the Dean? That's weird... usually, no one befriended the Dean in my college." My uncle giggled fascinated.
"The first time I walked around pretending to be a boy. I met a very educated person. He was the science nerd named Matthew. The one I mentioned about the B.A.M, he was really reluctant to be friends with me and usually, he was just really helpful." (Chapter 2: Pretending to be a boy)
"Oooh, do you have a crush on this guy?" My uncle snickered in laughter. We both laugh but I stopped midway saying "No. No way."
"Why don't you tell me more about this Fred fellow you mentioned before? He seems to be a very naughty fellow." My uncle winked emphasizing the naughty.
"Fred is kind of a bad boy I guess...I mean the first time I met him he was with Matthew when we were at the science lab and they seem to be best friends cause when I always call Matthew they are always together. (Chapter 3: Pheromone Incident)
"Oooh, don't you think they are dating?" My uncle says in a cheeky voice.
"I don't think so well how should I know.. I'm like the person here who has no experience in love and it's not like I care about love anyways." I sigh.
"How about Charles? How did you meet such an elegant and rich person." My uncle asks.
"Charles saved me from a bunch of boys tryna be naughty with me... He's really formal and really sweet however he seems to not have much experience in social interaction just like me. I heard his parents locked him up in his house so he's like been living in rock this whole time." I say semi worried and semi sad that we were alike. (Chapter 47: Parental Discipline.)
"Well, he seems to be a great kid. I honestly was surprised you thought he was dangerous." My uncle laughed.
"I met Damien and Alex both very talented and smart individuals who both had really terrible backstories..." I say faintly.
"Oh, what about them?" My uncle looked at me curious about their past.
"Damien was quite a feminine even though he was a boy. He always loved cross-dressing which got the attention of a lot of people. His dad always enforced and wanted him to be an overall pimp but since Damien had no intention of getting a girlfriend. He was often labeled as weird by his father." (Chapter 13: Degraded)
"Wow.. his father is kind of a jerk. I'm pretty sure you should love and accept your child whatever they might turn out." My uncle said irritated by Damien's father.
"Although he was the class president of his classmates looked down on him simply because he didn't display the stereotypical alpha male behavior. However, Damien is a very confident and goal-oriented person. He told me that I should never give up and believe in myself and I should never change who I am just because people don't like it." (Chapter 13: Degraded)
"Well, he sure does give good advice. I'd wanna meet this kid. For being a girly boy he's got courage." My uncle stated proudly.
"And then for Alex. He's an idol. He lived in a toxic household with his father being a drunk while his mother is a doormat. He pretended to be rich by lying because he knew he would be excluded by the rich because in his school whoever had the most gold is the one who rules the world." (Chapter 44: Worst Kind Of People)
"Hm... this one is a bit different he did not remain to be himself and pretended to be somebody else why are you friends with him?
"I mean the first time meeting him we didn't really get off on the right foot he was very vulgar in his words and he kept cursing me off, cursing his luck that we were roommates." (Chapter 36: Sugary Lies)
"And...." My uncle says waiting for the reason.
"The rich kids finally knew and found out about him and they decided to humiliate and bully him like what happened to me in high school. He remained training and doing his passion for becoming an idol and he pulled it off. He used them looking down on him as a way to bring himself back up." I said. (Chapter 45: Keep Looking Down On Me)
"Oh, that's really admirable. I guess your friends really were put in tough situations." My uncle said.
"Well.. you know what they say... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
The fishing rod starts to move! We all jump shocked and surprised! We got a catch!
