100 Chapter 97: Please Help!

My name is Grace and this is my life.

I am Grace Salmont. I'm in my 3rd year in college. I have pixie black hair and brown eyes. I'm quite tall too. I'm not that athletic but I do exercise. A lot of people see me as a lesbian, well it's because I like to wear boyish clothes, but I don't mind them that much, the clothes are comfy. I only live with my mom, because my dad works overseas. Ever since I was a child I was really close to my mom than my dad. We are not that reach, just average.

I am actually quite of a nerd, people around me call me the "Typical Straight-A Student" but I'm not that smart, to be honest, I just study hard and give my all to everything I do.

And I don't do things that are out of my comfort zone, but always want adventure, yet I'm afraid to try new things weird right? I don't talk too much with other people, but I am actually very talkative to my two best friends. The people around me think my life is PERFECT, but they don't know that sometimes I just wish I was different.

I want to be someone not known as a nerd, I want to be someone who doesn't always need to be a perfect girl in front of everyone, I want to be someone that doesn't need to always do things she doesn't want. I want to laugh out loud and eat what I want and be happy.

I always want to be someone, yet I don't actually know who I really am. Maybe I just need one person who can really understand me. Yes, I have my friends but sometimes I just don't know how to tell them what I'm feeling I don't want to be a burden. Well, you can say that I always have a lot of thoughts in my mind that it just goes all over the place, but right now I need to wake up for college.

I could hear my blue alarm clock ringing but I stay still in bed. You know the feeling of your bed getting much cozier when try to wake up, that's what I'm feeling.

But then I hear my room's door opening and I know who it is already.

"Grace, wake up, you don't want to be late. It's already 6 a.m." My mom said. "Okay, I will get ready now." "You better don't go back to sleep!" My mom said while going out of my room.

Standing up slowly, I stretched a little, and rub my eyes while my other hand is finding my glasses on the table. Going to the bathroom I showered quickly and wore a collared peach t-shirt and blue shorts with my blue top sider without brushing my hair. I checked my bag again if I have the assignments that I finished late last night.

Going down the stairs I sat down at the table together with my mom eating her breakfast. I saw a coffee already made for me and a toast with some strawberry jam, my favorite.

Arriving at my university and going to my course building, I saw my friends waiting for me as they saw me they urge me to walk faster.

"Hey there slowpoke," said Penelope.

Penelope actually has beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes she also has a nice body that guys somehow admires her, but she doesn't think she's beautiful because of her insecurities that's why I always tell her she's beautiful the way she is.

"The nerd has arrived," said Yuri he's the badass one, he always tells people directly what he feels and what he wants. He is brave yet sweet too and he always scolds me for being a doormat.

"Good morning too to the two of you," I said sarcastically.

As we walk to class they are both fighting over what I should do about myself again. Really, these two are so precious. The 3 of us have the same course; Business Management and right now we all have the same first-class. Going to the middle part of the seats I sat beside the window as they both sit to my right. Only a few students and the room would be full.

While waiting for our teacher Penelope asks me "Grace, can I ask something?" "Yeah sure," I answered "Why do you always wear that moon necklace? I never see you take it off once."

"Oh this, it's a birthday gift for my 7th birthday my mom gave it to me and told me to never take it off at all costs. But she didn't really explain why." "That's weird..." Penelope said. "But it's really beautiful though." I didn't notice the small jealousy in her eyes because I was looking at the necklace "Thank you." After that, she turned to talk to Yuri but I stayed looking at my necklace while twirling it remembering how I got it.

It was a beautiful morning. The sun's light is saying hello to the world. A little girl running around the place freely as she runs her hand through the white flowers and green grass, she feels the smooth texture of it in her fingertips. Her cute yellow dress bouncing as she moves and you can hear her adorable giggles as her mom chases her.

"I'm gonna catch you, my baby!" Making the young girl laugh as her mom catches her.

Lying down on the grass looking at the sky the mom pulls a beautiful moon necklace. Holding it she said "It's my gift for you my baby, Happy Birthday." while smiling softly to the cute little girl. Seeing the necklace the little girl gasps "Thank you, Mama, it's beautiful!." she said softly while hugging her mom. "Here let me put it for you." While putting the necklace around her neck her mom told her "Grace, promise me you will never take this off whatever it takes."

The little Grace asks "Why Mama?" "Because this will protect you from the monsters under your bed when you're sleeping and Mama's not around." while bopping her nose. "Really? Then I will never take it off." said the smiling little girl.

"I love you." "I love you too Mama" as their foreheads touch.

My daydream was cut off when I heard Mr. Jaime's voice in the room indicating that the class is starting. Facing the front I prepared my notebook and pen for the lesson.

As the class finishes Mr. Jaime reminds us of our Internship. The Internship actually lets us pick what company we could go to. This made me nervous as I'm not excellent in interviews. Going out of the class my two best friends are already imagining what they will do and what company they will go to. "I want to intern in a popular company," Penelope said. "Well I'm okay with whoever company accepts me. What about you Grace?" Yuri asked.

"I don't know. I also have a lot to do. I have to make a speech for the event of my club and-"not even finishing my sentence we heard someone calling my name.

As I turned around I saw our Club's president. "Grace! Finally! I found you. I need help again."

"About what?" "I forgot to tell you that we need to make a promotional video for our club at the event. And you're the only person I know that could make a nice video. Please do it for the Club, I have a lot to do too. Okay?" Not even letting me answer him, he already turned around to go catch up with his friends.

"That jerk, he gave you a lot of things to do again. I'm gonna go talk to him." Yuri said as he pulls her sleeves up. "Hey, no need okay, besides you know we can't go against him. He's the son of the Principal."

"Urggghhh!! You're so dumb, Grace. What would I do to you?"

"Come on, I'm kind of jealous of her, she sees a handsome president. He didn't even glance at me." "Seriously Penelope, that's all you think about?" "Guys, guys, I'm okay, I'm gonna finish this all later after all of my classes, so I won't have anything to do when I get home. I'm sorry I can't hang out later with you both."

Yuri sighed and said, "It's okay, but please learn to have free time okay?"

"Yuri you know what her answer is," Penelope said while shaking her head in disappointment.

"I'm really sorry guys; I'll make it up to you. I promise." I said while crossing my heart

"We know." They both said.

"Okay. Now let's go to our respective class!"
