"Ugh. How about we just break-in?" She suggested with a naughty look on her face.
"WHAT? Are you crazy?" My eyes widen at the suggestion she made. She lets out a soft sultry chuckle, rummaging something on her hair. "Didn't you say, you need to talk to her? Then let's just go inside and actually get answers there." She replied.
"Ya, but what good will it be for us to go inside her dorm room if she isn't there? I'm pretty sure the point of us going in is to talk to her. MEANING SHE HAS TO BE HERE." I squinted my eyes.
"Ugh! If you want to talk to this chick. You seriously should have gotten her phone number or some shit. I mean come on it's the twenty-first century and you still don't have a phone Lawry-poo." She yawned, bringing out a hairclip.
"Wha.. what are you going to do with that hair clip?" My voice shivered as I was already expecting what's going to happen.
She bent over to the keyhole right on the door but suddenly she stood up straight. "Imagine if the door is actually open and I'll just look stupid here trying to picklock an unlocked door.." She brought up a thought.
"Good point. Maybe actually try t- HEY! NO! Don't pick the lock of the door! That's illegal! We could be charged with breaking and entering! Do you seriously want to spend a few years behind bars?" I denounced her.
"It wouldn't be so bad if you were there with me!" She chirped continuing to pick the lock of the door.
"AH! STOP!" I have a power struggle with her right in front of the door. I attempt to pull her away from the door but she smiled and continued to do it. As our limbs were entangled with one another in the hallway, bickering loudly.
A guy tapped me on the shoulder. "Hey. Is everything going okay here?" The sudden stranger talking, made us freeze in our tracks. Oh my god.. this is going to be so embarrassing to explain...
We slowly turned our heads to see the man with his arms crossed in front of him. Looking at us peculiarly. "Is everyone going alright here?" he asked once again.
"Oh! Hi! Lucas!" Diana brushed up her hair and stood up straight. "Nice seeing you here Lucas. What brings you here?" Diana smiled, hiding the lockpick behind her so this Lucas person wouldn't be able to see it.
Lucas, Huh? I scanned the man in front of me carefully. He was tall, charming, and well-groomed. He had blonde shiny hair that sparkled in the sun. His smile was enough to turn heads and he generally had a "good guy" aura around him, but there's this feeling in my stomach that tells me he's not all that.
I accepted his hand and shook it. "Yes. I am. My name is Lawrence Aurora."
"Aurora.... now that last name is familiar..." He rubbed his chin before his eyes lightened up. "Are you Celestina Aurora's brother?" He brings up Celestina. Wait? How does he know Celestina? Could they have met each other when I was sleeping in the classroom?
"You seem to be aware of my sister, Celestina. How did you two meet exactly?" I interrogated him softly.
He smiled, looking perfect as ever. "I saw her getting bullied by a bunch of girls back at the cafeteria. So I decided to help her and that's how I found out who she is." She answered.
So this is the person that helped Celestina with what happened in the cafeteria.. Hm.. he does give me the look of a very helpful person so that's good that he was there.
"Thank you so much for helping my sister, Celestina." I bowed a little to show some gratification. Princess is very clumsy.. a good thing there was someone that looked after her when I was gone.
"It was my pleasure! It's actually my duty as the class representative to help anyone that I find especially stop bullying on campus! So if you have any problems, please feel free to approach me!" He smiled enthusiastically.
"Class rep?" I muttered out in confusion.
"You see.. this man right here is the best-wellmannered prince on the campus!" Diana snuggled up next to Lucas, grabbing his arm. "He was voted by the student body to be the class rep. Basically the smartest and behaved student in school." Diana elaborated.
I see.. so this person is what they see as the authoritarian figure in here? I guess that explains it. I mean he does look like someone that you should hold high and respect. I can't believe that he acts so noble that people call him an actual prince. Princess Celestina is seriously outmatched by him in terms of grace.
"By the way, what brings you here Lucas?" Diana switched the topic to know why Lucas was there.
"I'm here because I needed to visit a new transfer that's been having problems with getting around the place. So I decided to give them a personal tour. They should be here but when I knocked on their door. They weren't in their dorm room." He frowned.
"Aww! Look at you doing good deeds with the new transfers! In fact! I was just doing the same! I'm showing this guy around the dorm rooms." She tells him. Making me roll my eyes at how much bullshit she is spouting in her mouth. HELPING PEOPLE MY ARSE. You've been dragging me around and annoying me this whole time and YOU'VE ALWAYS TRIED TO GET ME TO BREAK AND ENTER INTO SOMEONE'S HOME.
"Oh alright then! Good luck with what you guys are doing." Lucas smiled. "I'll go ahead and look for the transfer so that I can finally give her the tour she needs." He waved goodbye to the two of us as we both kept a fake smile to him as he left.
When he was finally no longer in our line of sight, we sighed in relief. "Oh my god. Who knew that goody would come here all of a sudden." Diana blurted out.
"You seem to know this guy a lot don't you?" I asked her innocently but her face contorted into a smirk when I asked her.
Confused, I asked her. "Um? Why are you smirking? Did I say something funny all of a sudden?"
"Are you jealous that I'm closer to him or something? Don't worry! I still think you're my number one Lawry-poo! Even if he's more good-looking than you. I still think you're pretty hot!" She showered me with a barrage of compliments.
"Thanks.. but I wasn't referring to that also I don't really give a care if I'm your number one or whatever you say it." I rolled my eyes, before heading away from the door. "Anyways you never really answered my question."
"Oh right. I know a lot about him if that's what you want to know." She chuckled. "I mean I'm pretty sure, everyone with a social awareness would. I mean he's pretty good-looking, tall, kind-hearted, has good grades, and a jock. I mean you could seriously tell just from looking at him."
"Hm.. I see.. alright then." I responded, walking away from the room but as I was trying to go away, she grabs my arm and stops me from my tracks.
"Hey! Aren't you going to interrogate Meghan James or whatever? Where are you going all of a sudden?" She asks me.
"Well, she isn't there. So there's really no point in sticking around right? It's just pointless you know." I gruffed off.
"Ya! So now's the time to sneak inside her house!" She plotted a nasty scheme with her face contorting into a malice filled grin.
"And why should we do that exactly? Is there even a point to that?" I whinged.
"To know her secrets duh! So that we could know a little thing or two about the Starstagram model Meghan James!" As she declared her plot, she suddenly goes right through the door and started to lock pick.
I sighed and mumbled under my breath. "Well go suit yourself. You can go inside her house by yourself but I'm not going in there if I don't need to be." I protested, completely walking away from the door.
As my back was turned to look at Diana, I looked behind me to see OH NO... Both of our eyes widen as the person we were looking for stood behind us with a suspicious look on her face.
