119 Chapter 116:

"Wait? What did you just say all of a sudden?" My eyes widen as I can feel the world trembling before me. My heart dropped to my stomach from the sudden invasion of security. How.. how.. did she know that I'm a princess...

"Oh.. um..." She pulls away from the hug we had and looked at me with confusion. "Are you not a princess? I'm pretty sure my sources are always correct..." She rubbed her chin, surprised by my reaction.

So.. sources?! What? What on earth is she talking about all of a sudden?! Does she have sources like that?! Though, I don't think she's very sure about it! I might as well have to bluff my way out of this if I'm going to get her to not think that way.

"Oh.. you must have mistaken me with another celebrity. I don't really know what you are talking about dear." I answered her calmly, bluffing to her that she had made a mistake.

I mean it would be really unfortunate for my cover to be blown on the first day of class THAT IS just stupid, to say the least!

"Hm.." Her eyes wandered as she stood up to grab something from the cabinet. "I guess the school records might have glitched or something..."

"Sch.. school records? What do you mean exactly?" I faltered, looking at her with concern for my identity.

"I.. I kind of hacked the school's computer to look for your record you know.. to get to know you and things and I saw that your last name Aurora, is the same last name of a royal family so I did a little google search to compare both you and her and it's a total match!" She enthusiastically showed a picture of me in one of those articles about our country.

Oh my god.. she.. she seriously hacked the school's record system just to know more about me?! I mean I know she hacked the girl's social media before but she's capable of doing something like this? Just how techy is this woman?!

"I.. you must have mistaken me for that person. A lot of people do say that I am similar to Princess Celestina of Aurora but I assure you. I am just a normal girl that's a transferee here." I denied it. I mean.. there was nothing else I can do. I told myself that I wanted to live my life as a commoner girl. If people find out that I'm a princess, things might just get ugly.

"Are you sure?" Fatima squinted her eyes and looked once again at the document. "It says here, you transferred from Aurora. The same country where Princess Celestina is at. You also mentioned to me how you grew so sheltered which fits the description of the princess since you must have been stuck on your castle." She turned around and came to another drawer to get something. "Also your brother, Lawrence Harrington is your attendant right?" She asked me.

"Oh... I know it's kind of stalkerish in a way.. but I never really meant any ill intention by it. If you think that way." She can sense the distress in my face, so she reassured me and tried to calm me but I feel a bit uncomfortable about this.

At first, we were having an emotional conversation about how she was ridiculed for her body weight and that she didn't love herself so I helped her and now she just brought up that she was studying and digging up information about me like some sort of trained detective all of a sudden.

"Wait.. you.. you what?" My mind took some time to process what she was saying because it was all too sudden. Like it just happened out of nowhere without any warning..

"I... I guess it's a bit rude to like do that.." She hides her face. "Sorry for invading your privacy by hacking the school system to get info but I really just wanted to know more about you that's all! I didn't really mean to hurt you or try to reveal you're a princess!"

I sighed. "I... I guess it's fine... since you didn't really have any malice in doing so but I guess this situation just made me lose my train of thought for a second that's all.." I shook my head and massaged it a little bit. "Though.. why did you actually do that? Do you just randomly get information from people like that?"

"Oh! Sorry... I.. must have gotten that habit from a lot of people who tried to befriend me..." She sighed. "It's just that, sometimes people would befriend me for no reason, and then later I will find out they are a criminal who wants my skills or they are a bad person. So I make sure to do a background check on them first. Haha..." She chuckled awkwardly, bowing down to me an apology.

"I see... well... that's alright and all but um.. I kind of feel a bit disturbed." I quavered to her. "Don't take this the wrong way though... but I feel like it was a sort of an invasion of privacy. If you needed to know something from me. You should have asked me directly.."

"Ya.. and I'm sorry for that.. I truly am." She bowed down. "Actually, I was honestly going to keep it a secret but the heat of the moment just let out the fact that you're so regal and sophisticated like a true princess!" Her eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky. She was totally idolizing me.

Thoughts run into my head as I pondered. Should I tell her that I'm princess Celestina, I mean what if she blabs to other people and people find out that I'm a princess.. that would be trouble.. but on the other hand, if I deny everything, she might get more suspicious and scan for more info about me. Ugh.. I might have to be honest with her this time...

"What you said is true," I muttered out from my chest. Making her turn around at me and look at me with amazement.

"Re.. really?! You're actually a real-life princess! OH MY GOD! I can't believe it!" She screamed at the top of her lungs but I place my hand over her mouth and shush her.

"No need to yell out loud like that," I tell her gently before putting away my hand from her mouth.

She lets out blush on her face. "Oh.. sorry.. I guess I got a bit carried away didn't I?"

"Anyways.. please keep in mind that since you know. You're going to have to keep it a secret understand?" I told her straight off.

"Why? I mean if I were a princess. I'd tell everyone that I am. That would attract everyone else and make me straight to popularity since people would treat me like a literal princess..." She asked me confused as to why I kept that a secret.

"That's not really what I want to happen.. I mean I may be a princess but I actually want to treat me like a normal human being. I find it fake that people act differently when I'm around, so I actually want to know the real them before I reveal to them that I'm a princess." I told her my reasons, making her nod.

"That is reasonable! Honestly, that just makes me more of a fan of you. Princess!" She smiled. "It's better to know how people truly act. Whether or not, they would respect you, regardless of knowing you're a princess or not."

"Also, I really just want to experience the commoner life, you know? If I grow from luxury and riches. I would never have the perspective of my subjects. Which in turn, will make it harder for me to make decisions that would benefit them. I mean I am next in the throne after all.. and I actually want to be a queen that people are proud of."

"Well, you can count on me being your loyal subject from now on, princess!" She bowed to me once again, letting out a sultry chuckle.

"My first order is to make sure that you don't tell anyone else about my secret as a princess alright!" I command her.

"Of course! It's a secret that I'll keep to the grave!" She jokingly muttered out.

"Ah.. just call it.. a secret between friends." I smiled. "Because we are friends after all!"
