"My first order is to make sure that you don't tell anyone else about my secret as a princess alright!" I command her.
"Of course! It's a secret that I'll keep to the grave!" She jokingly muttered out.
"Ah.. just call it.. a secret between friends." I smiled. "Because we are friends after all!"
"Fri..friends?! Really?!" Her eyes widen with excitement. "THAT'S AMAZING! I never really had a friend before! Honestly, I was considering befriending demons since no one really wanted to be around me." She sighed in relief.
"Why though? I can't believe no one wanted to be your friend. I think you're lovely except the whole stalking and digging for information thing." I grinned awkwardly.
"Ya.. though! I'm over it now! Honestly, it's better to have one good friend than have multiple fake friends. Also, you're like a princess so that's pretty much a bonus for me right!" She laughed out loud before finally stopping.
"Yup! Though.." My eyes wandered around the room to look for a clock or something to tell the time. "What time is it now? I believe that it's getting a bit late now as we speak."
She gets her phone that was placed on the table full of clutter to check the time. "It's 6 pm. When do you need to go?"
I gasp. "Oh my gosh. I don't think I can stay here for long."
"Oh alright.. you must have some sort of princess duties that you have to do and stuff right?" She faltered, going to the door and opening it for me.
"Thanks for having me here. I did enjoy our short-lived conversation." I stood up from the comfy sofa I was sitting in. "But I must go back to my dorm room now. Lawrence is kind of waiting for me and, I kind of have a business to attend to."
"Oh, that's fine! I enjoyed the time we shared too! I hope we can talk more! Princess Celestina." She chirped.
"Remember that you must keep my identity a secret alright? I don't really want people finding out I'm the princess of Aurora and is the next in line for the throne." I snickered a little, reminding her about my demand.
She nodded. "Of course, I'll say no word to anyone! You can count on me to keep secrets since I don't really have anyone to tell the secret to.. kind of self-deprecating I know.." She laughed uncomfortable before I walk out the door with a smile on my face.
I think everything went well! It was bold of me to assume that she liked me but I guess she just really idolized me and I'm totally fine with that! I'm glad I got to meet someone like her! She feels like a breath of fresh air, after the cold reception I got from the other students, it's a bit refreshing to see someone that isn't so bitter like they are.
As I took a step closer and focused my eyes on them, I made out the face and it's actually Lawrence and Diana! Wow.. I didn't know they were together. They're snuggled up together like a couple in the midst of the winter. Aren't they getting a bit too close for comfort with one another? Well from the looks of it. It's Diana that's being a little too clingy.
Walking a little closer to the two love birds. I made a cheeky grin. Stopping them from their tracks. "Am I interrupting something?" I squinted my eyes.
"No," Lawrence answered immediately, pushing Diana away from him, making Diana sulk in the corner. "HEY! That was rude! You were pleased to be around me before but when she comes here. You're just going to treat me like trash! You are seriously mean."
"Well.. firstly, I didn't ask you to follow me. You just followed me on your own. Also, don't go saying that! I was honestly just tolerating your presence." Lawrence shrugged her off. Making her burst into tears.
"Waah! You are so mean Lawrence.. I like that!" Her crying demeanor suddenly turned into a more demented smile. "Please treat me badly more! I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CHOKE ME! CHOKE ME LIKE YOU HATE ME LIKE YOU LOVE ME. LOWKEY WANNA DATE ME WHEN YOU FU-"
Lawrence tightly places his hand over her mouth to cease her from talking even worthy. "SILENCE. No more word from you." She shushed her up and put her in a little chokehold. Making me feel a bit uncomfortable.
"Um.. alright? Why were you guys together again?" I ask Lawrence. "I thought you were going to stay at the dorm to rest since you didn't get enough sleep. Seems like you had other things to do huh?" I raise my eyebrows, making a smirk.
"Don't go giving me that look, Celestina." He grunted. "I just happen to do something very important so I needed to go out that's all. There should be nothing bad about that right?"
"What kind of things exactly? What did you exactly do that was so important?" I crossed my arms.
Diana started to talk, breaking free from Lawrence's chokehold. "We had a date together! It was pretty fun! We almost got-" Lawrence, grabbed her once again with lightning speed. Shutting her up before she was able to say something.
Hmm.. that's kind of suspicious.. though she did mention a date. Oh MY! COULD IT BE THAT LAWRENCE AND DIANA ARE DATING?! They are just like one of those tsundere couples I see in my novels where they act like they hate each other but they actually do.
"Oooh! So you guys were going on a date huh?" A smirk grew widely on my face.
"No." Lawrence quickly shut down my attempts in teasing them. Darn it! "We didn't go on a date or anything. It's just Diana's delusions yet again. Just don't listen to this girl. She's not really in the right state of mind right now."
"Oh.. so what were you doing actually?" I rephrased my question.
"I was just investigating something important. Not really something you need to know. By the way, how was your meeting with Fatima? Did it go well?" He switched the subject. I guess he doesn't really like talking about it.
"Wait? What?" Diana looked at Lawrence with a confused expression. "How is a serial ki-" Lawrence places his hand over her mouth once again to stop her from talking. Muffling her voice that even little boars can't understand.
"Can you go inside for now Celestina? We can talk about your meeting later. I actually would like to have a word with Diana before I go inside. Mind giving us privacy?" Lawrence commanded me, sending shivers to my spine as he did it more assertively than usual.
"Alright then...." I nodded, obeying his orders to go inside the door room. Though I am seriously curious about what they are going to talk about. They seem to have some sort of deep chemistry with one another so I wouldn't be surprised if those two are dating by now..
POV: Lawrence Harrington.
"AGH! UH!" Diana gasp for air, as I let her go from the chokehold. "Geez! You know if I'm going to ask you to choke me. I'd want it to be in the bedroom." She muttered out.
"You were saying a lot of irritating things and you just needed to be silenced that's all." I squinted my eyes at her.
"Lol. Isn't it you, that's not telling her anything?" She chuckled. "You didn't even tell her that Meghan James was involved with a starstagram serial killer and that you accidentally got killed."
"Do you think I can just casually say to her that a friend of hers has a serial killer going after them, so in an attempt to save her life? She lured me to be there to be killed instead of her. I DON'T THINK SHE'LL BE ABLE TO HANDLE something that."
"I know that but like surely, it should be a right for her to know about it. I mean come on, this is life or death. Knowing this information. She'll be safer and she'll be able to defend herself you know!" Diana argued.
"And then have her be unable to sleep at night because a serial killer is after her? No way in hell I'm doing that." I denied the suggestion.
"Ugh. You are such a stubborn man aren't you." She throws herself into me, fiddling her fingers along my chest. "You know those protective brothers.. you kind of remind me of them. Quite a lot. Which reminds me! Your personality is just like Cypress! I consider him like my brother."
