124 Chapter 121:

"Princess Celestina! I am glad you chose our establishment to be the place where you wanted to study!" The principal of the school suddenly popped out of nowhere to greet me with open arms. Making me feel a bit uncomfortable with all the attention.

"OH MY GOSH! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ACTUALLY SEEING A REAL PRINCESS!"

"She is so beautiful and elegant! What a lovely dress she is wearing. Really expected of a princess."

"Ah.. no it's fine um.." I stumbled over my words as the groups of people continued to shower me with praises. All of their eyes were pointed towards my direction. It's almost as if they are staring daggers at me. A bit uncomfortable to say the least.

"Ehem." Lawrence coughed loudly to get everyone's attention. "You're praises and amazement is appreciated but the princess and I have duties to attend to so if you don't mind and give way to the princess. That would be lovely for all of you." Lawrence tells them politely to back off from me.

They all nodded and apologized and went over to the corner of the room to give me some space after Lawrence had told them. Wow.. I didn't know Lawrence was that intimidating enough to control a whole room.

I looked at Lawrence, smiling at him. Thanking him for using my eyes. He nodded, understanding what I meant and then proceeding to speak more. "Also, we humbly request that all of you be silent about Princess Celestina's true identity. Her goal in this institution is to experience a normal commoner life so if it is made known that she is a princess then her goal would not be possible." Lawrence informs them.

"Of course!" The principal enthusiastically answered, along with the other members bowing and nodding. "Absolutely!" They all repeatedly exclaimed as Lawrence took a grab hold of my hand to escort me.

"That's right. I do hope that my secret is not revealed! I'm counting on all of you to keep it a secret alright?" I smiled gracefully among the crowd of people. All of their eyes lightened up, completely eager to obey any word I let out of my mouth.

"By the way, is the room ready? The King and Queen of Aurora will be calling soon and we require a very spacious room so we can converse with them efficiently so please make sure that it's comfortable for us and we require to be alone with them so please make sure the room you choose is at least soundproof." Lawrence demanded to all of them and like loyal puppies, all of them sprinted to ready the room we will be going to.

"Nah. I'm pretty sure, you need some privacy when you're going to talk to your parents. I mean imagine, them hearing your conversation. That would be bad." Lawrence reassured me that we needed privacy. So I just agreed to it. I mean it's way more comfortable to talk alone with them I suppose.

After waiting for a few minutes in the waiting room of the building. The principal came to the two of us and escorted us to the room we will be going to. We both stood up from our seats and followed them eagerly.

With their lead, Lawrence and I followed them to the room who was spick and span. I looked around the room and an abundance of books is hanged onto the walls along with awards that the school had won before. This seems like a very important office. Why are they letting us use this?

"Um? If you don't mind me asking. Who's office is this? They seem to be very important.." I asked the principal awkwardly.

"Oh, this is my office! I just cleaned up all the clutter so that you could use it." The principal answered.

"What?! This is your office!? Why are you letting us use this? Don't you have another room?" I exclaimed, I'm a bit embarrassed to be intruding like this.

"It's alright. The WIFI connection is stronger here anyway so you can use this. Also since you needed some privacy, we chose this room since this is the only soundproof room in the building. So please use my laptop on the desk to start your call with the King and Queen." The principal answered me, saying that it was fine for us to use the room but I still feel uneasy about it. I don't really feel uncomfortable getting special treatment like this.

"I see... of course then. I guess I don't really have any choice but this room then." I said to myself, sitting down on the chair that's on the desk.

"Anyways, if you would excuse me. We should now perform the call. Do you mind leaving the room for now? We'll just call you when we are done. Thank you." Lawrence requested the principal to leave the room. He complied and we were left there alone with the laptop.

"So what do you think about the room? Is this good for you?" Lawrence checked up on me. "You look a bit upset so I was thinking you didn't really like the room that was chosen for us."

"Ah no. It's not like that. It's just that I somewhat feel bad that we're suddenly intruding like this. I mean they had to prepare this whole room for us to perform the call so I guess it feels a bit embarrassing."

"Well, you are a princess after all. I'm pretty sure, it's planted in their minds to treat you with the utmost respect and care. That's why they were so nice and offering you so many compliments." Lawrence stated.

"You mean, if I wasn't a princess, then they wouldn't treat me like the way they are treating me right now? And the only reason why they are doing this is that they feel the need to be? Is that what you're saying?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Exactly. It's because of your status. People respect the ones that are of high status but disrespect the ones that are of low status. If they weren't informed that you were a princess, they might have treated us badly. I mean when I was talking to those people. They weren't exactly the best people to talk to." Lawrence timidly stated.

FLASHBACKS (Lawrence's POV. BACK AT THE OFFICE WHEN HE CAME IN)

"What do you need today?" The receptionist asked me in the most disinterested and unmotivated tone you can hear from a person.

"Can we use your WIFI connection and a device. We would love to make a call from our parents." I requested the receptionist.

"Can that wait after tomorrow? We are currently busy. Also if you want to make calls, go to an internet cafe. Don't go to the office. There should be internet cafes there. Just go there and not bother us here." She answered so rudely me.

At this point, I was a little bit annoyed, her attitude just hit a nerve on my head so I passively aggressively muttered out. "Oh.. I don't think the King and Queen of Aurora would be too happy with this if they found out that the school their daughter is in. Is not allowing them to have a call with them.

I slowly walked away, with a grin on my face as I clearly see the receptionist panicking. "Wait! Come inside! We are available after all! So please do come in!" She shouted, acting more happy and giddy.

FLASHBACKS END

POV: Celestina Aurora

"So they were friendlier when you mentioned that I was a princess?"

"Yes. As soon as I mentioned it, they became all good and sweet but ten minutes ago, they were treating me like trash and wasn't really caring about me or anything." Lawrence went closer to me and come behind me.

"Anyways, enough about talking this. Let's start the call with your parents. Are you ready to talk to your parents?" He asked me as he sets up the application we'll be using to call.

"Actually, I am a bit nervous. I guess this whole special treatment thing is just messing with me. I wish that people treated everyone like that, regardless of their status.." I sighed.

"Too bad that's not really real." Lawrence chimed in, as he clicked around on the screen of the laptop. "Done! I set it up. So let's start the call now!" He says as he pressed the call button on the screen.
