Ji Chen had just returned from his business trip, and before he had even gotten a chance to take off his jacket, a small, frenzied creature rushed down the stairs and slammed itself into his torso.

"Oppa, you've finally returned! Boohoo… I would've gone mad if you had returned any later."

Ji Chen furrowed his brows and pushed the little creature hugging him away. "If you have something to say, then say it! Don't use such a roundabout method on me."

After taking his jacket off and tossing it to the housemaid closest to him, Ji Chen took broad steps towards the sofa before plopping himself onto it. After pouring a cup of tea for himself to soothe his throat, he asked, "Aren't you already crazy? After all, you're always acting like a psycho."

Ji Xiaonian plopped her butt onto the seat as well, and while hugging her brother's arm, she unleashed a wide-eyed pity-garnering gaze at her brother. "Brother Yan's mad at me. He's ignoring me. He was supposed to bring me back home, but he threw me out of his ride halfway through the journey. Since you've just returned, you're going to visit his parents at his house, right? If so, let me accompany you, and while you're at it, why don't you throw in a few words of praise for me?"

She was on the verge of tears.

Ji Chen stared at her, and he could feel his heartstrings being tugged. With that, he hurriedly rushed to her side and cradled her in his arms, saying, "Who are you calling a bully? Fine, I don't know how else to deal with you. You said you wanted to meet Bai Yan, right? Fine, hurry and freshen yourself up. I'm about to go to his house."
