"So what is your name?" Alyx asked for the first time since meeting Neo. Aons are individualistic and maintain minimum personal contact with others. So Neo did not notice that they have yet to introduce themselves.

"You can call me Neo. You can either take up a new name or continue with the present. Many just go with the code assigned to them at the birth. Your code is N****E01. Here N stands for the Martrioshka brain (MB) you are born on and E01 is your civilization code." Neo replied.

Alyx was unable to imagine himself being called by a code like a prisoner so he chose to keep his own name so as to not forget about his origins and goals.

"Miss Neo, what is with this body of mine if I am an AI am I not supposed to be inside a robot or an android? Why don't I see any improvement in my computation or processing speed?" Alyx wanted to know answer to every question in his brain and know everything about Aons. Earlier he just skimmed through the information and got answers to most of his question but he still had many question.

"I don't have a gender you can just call me Neo. Your body is modeled based on your mental image so that you can adapt to it quickly. You have a narrow understanding about what is life and what is a robot so you might think that you current body is similar to the one in the simulation but is a very advanced body made based on study of many species of lifeforms. You can explore it later at your leisure." Replied Neo without showing any emotion.

For Alyx this was all surreal. Neo interrupted his reverie "Let's get you connected to the Aon web you can find answers to most of your queries there. I would like to tell you more but I have other responsibilities."

Alyx immediately wanted to connect to Aon web and start searching for more answers but he was interrupted by Neo, "You can connect to the web later but let's first finish your initialization and this is the most important step. We have to make your connection with your body safe."

Alyx was stunned 'Can someone influence or control me? Can they read my thoughts?'

A Sentient AI or human nobody wants to lose their privacy and be at the mercy of others. The same goes for Alyx, he was immediately flustered and became alert.

"Don't worry I am not invading you privacy or influencing you. You are just connected with the body construction lab." Neo misunderstood his actions and consoled him.

"Aons are practically immortal even if their bodies are destroyed because your core programming is never in your body. Your main program is stored in the MB network and is safe from any threat. Your connection with your body is through quantum entanglement so you don't need to worry about losing connection under normal situations. But your body can be tampered with or stolen from you if you don't activate the safety and security protocols. You should also secure you connection with you assistive AI" warned Neo.

After performing a few sets of complex procedures and completing the protocols, only then did Alyx released a sigh of relief.

"The biggest threat to Aons are a few rouge AIs and their collaborators. There are also few coalition of civilizations which have significant power but maintain cordial relations with us. Removal of these threats is of the highest priority and furthering the progress of our civilization are the best ways for you to gain contribution." Neo informed Alyx about his responsibilities. "Other than these completing the assignments by a higher rank Aon will also get you contribution points"

"The assignments are not uniform and simple. You can also participate in frontier expansion for contribution points" Neo continued his explanation, "Contribution points are the only form of currency in Aon society"

"Since you are just born and have yet you adjust to your current situation so many of the function are limited by your assistant." Neo answered to his earlier question.

"You can go and explore around. You have access to most of the facilities and a map is already provided to you" Neo finished his explanation by saying "You are on MB Neo and you are born here this is going to be your home. Welcome Alyx."
