"No."
His reply was instant and short, making the atmosphere awkward, especially for Melissa, who didn't think he'll refuse right away without giving it even a bit of thought.
"Are you perhaps refusing because of what happened earlier? I sincerely apologized and I promise to never speak about your family. It was unprofessional of my bodyguard to dare and threaten you like that. Why don't you think about my offer first then give me your final answer."
"No, I won't work with or under you."
Bin seemed hell-bent on refusing her, which made her frown. She let out a helpless sigh and pondered for a moment before speaking again.
"Did you perhaps fall in love with Jasmine? Is that why you're against working for me?"
Hearing this, Bin snickered:
"Did it never occur to you that I simply don't want to work for you? I loathe people like you the most."
Seeing that this kind of approach wasn't working, Melissa changed her tactic.
"I'll give you 30 million Won (25883usd) in advance, I'm sure such an amount will greatly help you."
She kind of understood poor people and knew that they're attracted by money. If you give them an appropriate amount, they'll surely change their mind, or so she thought.
Although her words did affect Bin, he didn't show that much of a reaction, he just got up and left the car after giving her one last glance filled with contempt and disgust.
As she was left alone with the bodyguard, Melissa closed her eyes and thoroughly thought about all that happened. After a while, she let out a short laugh while mumbling
"Indeed, he's the one who'll help me rise to the top."
The bodyguard inspected her while worriedly saying
"Are you alright, Miss?"
The blond girl massaged her red neck while thinking of his crazed and murderous gaze. She was never wrong when judging people and Bin was really someone who would do anything for his sister. A living proof of that was his earlier outburst when he let go of her and leapt at the bodyguard, clearly intending on killing him regardless of the consequences.
"What do you think about him?"-Melissa
The bodyguard gave it some thought before replying
"All I can say is that he's a crazy person."

After stepping out of the limousine, Bin randomly wandered around, trying to calm himself down while thinking about all that happened. Now that he processed all that just happened, he couldn't help but suck a deep and cold breath.
He almost got himself killed and it couldn't be helped as his emotions took hold of his body, especially after the bodyguard threatened to kill Mina.
Honestly, Melissa's offer was enticing but he would rather die than become her servant. 30 million won is a huge amount while will allow Mina to live comfortably and would secure a decent future for her but the mere thought of working for a double-faced snake like that girl almost made him vomit.
Bin spent twenty minutes clearing his mind from all the negatives thoughts then headed back to his master's home. Unfortunately, he had to walk that great distance for he had no money on him.
It took him a bit more than an hour to walk despite his unusually fast walking pace. On the entrance of the manor, Jasmine's chauffeur handed him a brand new phone as his was smashed when he fought the twins.
In addition to Jasmine's number, the chauffeur also added his own and repeatedly told Bin to call him if something dangerous were to happen.
Bin thanked the kind driver and entered the manor, heading toward the kitchen. He was feeling a bit hungry and although Jasmine ordered him to come to her room as soon as he arrives, filling his stomach came first.
Like usual, most of the staff was busy working in the kitchen, including his newly-made friend Yuoba, who was ACTUALLY working this time, instead of slacking off.
Just as he was about to greet them, someone abruptly appeared in front of him, startling the youth. She was wearing a maid outfit and had a snow-white skin and jet black long hair.
She was one of the main maids of the manor, Hyue.
"What are you doing?"
"I was about to grab something to eat."
Hyue inspected him from head to toe before asking again
"Shouldn't you be resting?"
Bin stretched his limbs while replying
"I'm in perfect form, I need to work, not rest."
"That's not someone who's been stabbed should say."
The one who just talked wasn't Hyue but the old man, who was the chef of this kitchen and someone who's been working here for a long time. He softly patted Bin's back, smiled at him and said
"Come! Let me give some nutritious food to eat!"
He dragged him to the center of the kitchen, had him sit then presented him with various kinds of healthy food.
"It must've been hard for you! Eat eat!"

The old man was truly a kind person, he was stingy as he handed Bin even some of the food that should be presented to the family for lunch. All the staff heard what happened so they were worried about the newbie who joined not long ago.
They were like a family and very close to each other as they have been working together for a few years except for one or two who joined a few months ago.
They must've known that Bin will serve Jasmine for a long time as he seemed to be different than all the previous servants, who quits in a day or two at most.
