59 Chapter 59 : Night Party 1

Name:Life As a Servant Author:TheCrow
Due to the old chef's persistence, Bin ended up eating more than he could handle so he felt quite sleepy after his belly had been fully stuffed. Unfortunately, he had to work and Jasmine called for him since a while ago so after thanking the chef, he headed toward his master's room.

Of course, the servant didn't forget to knock before entering so that an awkward situation like last time doesn't reoccur. Tonight was a big night for Jasmine, who opened the door for her servant but wasn't that interested in messing with him, much less paying him any attention.

So, with nothing to do, Bin sat on the comfortable couch near the door and retrieved his new cell phone, curious about its functions.

Is knowledge about smartphones is very limited as he only knows how to send messages or call somebody.

First, he curiously inspected this quite expensive piece of technology before trying to figure out how it works on his own. His efforts caused the nearby Rika to let out an involuntary giggle. Jasmine was busy putting on make-up while Rika was doing nothing in particular so her attention shifted to the busy Bin only to see his comical act.

"What?"

He put the phone down and asked the short-haired girl, who covered her mouth in an attempt to hide her reaction but miserably failed as Bin heard her giggle.

"Nothing…"

A frown appeared on the youngster's face, he kept staring at the shy girl for a while before he picked the phone again. In the end, Rika couldn't handle seeing him dumbly tap on that phone like that so she walked up to him and stretched her hand.

Bin raised his head and glanced at her face then her hanging hand, wondering what she wants. Not knowing what she wants, he said

"Keep in mind that I'm Jasmine's servant and not yours so if you want something then go get it."

As if to make matters worse, Jasmine, who just exited the bathroom, heard his rude tone.

"Is that how you talk to my friend? Are you out of your mind?!"

Like a ghost, she appeared next to her friend while angrily yelling at him. In response, Bin shrugged his shoulders, uncaring about neither of the girls.

Jasmine had a lot to say but refrained from doing so due to Rika's presence. She ended up dragging him to the bathroom and closing the door. After making sure the door is fully closed so that Rika cannot hear them, Jasmine whispered with a low tone

"Don't talk to her like that, she's been through a lot!"

It was quite funny to hear her awfully loud 'whisper'.

"Haven't I also been through a lot?"

Words got stuck into Jasmine's mouth as she was ready to harshly berate him only to hear him say that. While thinking about it, Bin did experience a lot of hardships, especially in the past few days.

Seeing his energetic attitude and nonchalance, Jasmine almost forgot the terrible things that occurred in that alley. While he may be right, it still doesn't give him the right to talk to her friend like that, or so she thought.

"Still, don't treat her like that. You'll do whatever she wants period!"

Bin shook his head and mumbled to himself

"This is so ridiculous."

It's not like he hated Rika but he tried helping her and it was SHE who was unwilling to open up to others. Furthermore, that was the way he always talks, it may sound rude to these rich kids but it's normal for people like him. Heck! Friends even mock and insult each other.

"Anyway, go prepare yourself?"

Bin stared back at her and said:

"For what?"

"For the party you idiot! You're coming with me."

He looked at her with a straight face and retorted:

"Ehmm no, I'm not."

She pushed him out of the bathroom while adding

"Yes, you are."

Jasmine knew that he'll wander off somewhere if he's left alone so the best solution is to drag him with her to tonight's party.

While staring at the closed-shut door, Bin let out a sigh and turned to face Rika, who seemed to be over what happened and was busy tapping on her phone.

He went and sat on the sofa again and picked the phone again but this time, Rika didn't even glance at him. Though he may have been at fault this time, Bin didn't apologize and continued fiddling with his phone.

Jasmine spent more than an hour putting on make-up then she went to another room, where an expert was going to take care of her currently messy-hair.

After much thought, Rika decided not to go the tonight's party as she wasn't too fond of public events like these ones. Furthermore, there's bound to be a problem as the students always clash with each other and boast about their unique abilities.
