Chapter 176 - Pressing President Li to Get Married

The next morning, Li Qin Yao and her mother went to the hotel's coffee house for breakfast. When they arrived, Li Qin Yao's former ȧssistant, Bei Ruo Xi, was waiting for her. The three of them exchanged a brief greeting before walking into the coffee house for breakfast together.

After choosing the food they wanted, they walked over to a table and had their breakfast.

"How was the arrangement? Is everything alright?" Li Qin Yao asked in the middle of their meal.

"Miss Li, you don't have to worry. I've contacted the doctor as per your request," Bei Ruo Xi spoke. She stirred her coffee and took a few sips. "Initially, the hospital said that the doctor was too busy, but after reviewing Mrs. Han's case, he changed his mind and agreed." 

Both Li Qin Yao and her mother heaved a sigh with relief.

"Have you visited them?" Xu Yilan asked. "How is Mrs. Han? Is she alright?"

"When I visited Mrs. Han yesterday, Mrs. Han seemed in a good spirit," Bei Ruo Xi said and smiled. "The doctors were going to observe Mrs. Han for a while before they decide to operate on her."

Xu Yilan nodded. Once she finished her breakfast, Xu Yilan left the table and head back to the room to give the two of them a chance to talk. Anyway, it was still too early before they can visit Mrs. Han in the hospital. 

Seeing that her mother had left, Li Qin Yao wiped her hand on the napkin and looked at Bei Ruo Xi. "How was the company recently? Li Ming Han wedding banquet is in next week. Come. Tell me what's the latest gossip?"

Bei Ruo Xi was silent for a while. Of course, she understood that Li Qin Yao was asking her regarding Zhao Wei's movement.

"Previously when Director Li announced his wedding, Manager Zhao was furious," Bei Ruo Xi said. "I heard that Manager Zhao went to look for Chairman Li. But I'm guessing that Manager Zhao did not get what she wanted. Anyway, Manager Zhao returned to her room and started to smash a few things in her office."

Li Qin Yao drank her coffee silently. She could guess that her second aunt wanted to change her grandfather's mind about the wedding and was furious upon knowing that Li Ming Han had already registered his marriage with his wife, Bai Qing Qing.

"Recently, I heard that Manager Zhao is pressing President Li to get married," Bei Ruo Xi said. "It seemed that President Li was forced to attend to a few blind dates as well. I happen to run into President Li and his blind date not too long ago."

Li Qin Yao thought about Li Mu Bai who was forced to attend a few blind dates and laughed. She can almost imagine Li Mu Bai attending Li Ming Han wedding banquet with one of the blind dates arranged by his mother.

Since Li Ming Han was marrying someone with a powerful family, there was no way that her aunt, Zhao Wei would let it go. Since she could not do anything about Li Ming Han's marriage, Zhao Wei was going to make her son marry someone more outstanding.

Of course, Li Qin Yao had no doubt that Li Mu Chen will have to face the same fate.

Anyway, Li Qin Yao could never understand what her aunt, Zhao Wei wanted. Her son, Li Mu Bai was already the president of QL Group. When she created that scandal that made her leave QL Group, was she not aiming for that position for her son?

Now that she got what she wanted, what else did she want to do?

However, it was a good thing to hear that her aunt was busy with her Li Mu Bai's matter. At least for now, she did not have time to meddle with her project in B City. 

An hour later, Bei Ruo Xi excused herself and returned to the company. Li Qin Yao then went to look for her mother and the two of them decided to go to the hospital to visit Mrs. Han.

When Xiao Ye heard that the mother and daughter were going out, he immediately prepared a driver for them. Seeing that she have no way to reject him, both Li Qin Yao and her mother accepted Xiao Ye's offer.

The two of them arrived at the hospital and immediately went to find Mrs. Han's room. When they arrived, only both Mrs. Han and Han Yue Xiu were in the room. After exchanging a few words, Li Qin Yao grabbed Han Yue Xiu's arms and the two of them went out for a walk, leaving their mothers to catch up.

The two of them bought some milk tea and walked around the hospital garden.

"Yao Yao, thank you for your help," Han Yue Xiu said.

"Don't mention it," Li Qin Yao waved her hand. "I didn't do anything much. It was Bei Ruo Xi who helped to contact the doctor."

Han Yue Xiu smiled before she took a sip from her milk tea. "You're coming over to Capital City to visit me and my mother here, won't Mister Zhang feel aggrieved that he was left alone for too long?"

Li Qin Yao laughed. "He'll come over next week to attend my cousin's wedding."

"That's right. I have almost forgotten that you were going to introduce Mister Zhang as your boyfriend to your grandparents. Anyway, I should be wishing you good luck."

Li Qin Yao nudged her friend on her waist. "Now you're making me nervous."

"What's there to be nervous about?" Han Yue Xiu leaned on the bench. "Before I left, the two of you were not even in a relationship. And now, even your mother had turned to like him. Mister Zhang is formidable. I have a good feeling that your grandparents' will have a good opinion about him."

Li Qin Yao shook her head and laughed. She could almost imagine that the proud look on Zhang Yu Han's face if he heard Han Yue Xiu's comment.

Thinking about that man... Li Qin Yao suddenly realized that she missed him. She glanced at her wristwatch and thought that at this time, Zhang Yu Han should be in his office. 

Li Qin Yao paused when she noticed a familiar man who was on the phone. Judging from his expression, one could tell that it was a serious conversation. Li Qin Yao turned to Han Yue Xiu and whispered, "Right, I've been wanting to ask you what is it with you and your ex-boss? He's still going after you?"

Han Yue Xiu followed her gaze and heaved a sigh. "I don't know. At least, for now, he had stopped forcing me to be with him. Since he had helped me a lot in S Country, I thought I should at least treat him as a friend." Han Yue Xiu immediately changed their subject later on. She cast another look at Song Yi and frowned. 

Recently, she had noticed that Song Yi was on the phone a lot. Suddenly, she was curious about who was Song Yi talking to.
