Chapter 311 - What's Yours is also Mine

Once they walked out of the restaurant, Li Qin Yao turned to her husband with a frown. "Why are you so fierce towards a child?"

When Li Qin Yao recalled how Zhang Yu Han had reacted upon seeing the little boy had touched her ċhėst, she was very embarrassed, especially as Lu Xun and his sister were still present.

Fortunately, Lu Xun's sister did not mind his words towards the one-year-old. Fortunately, that child did not start to cry upon seeing her husband's fierce look.

However, Li Qin Yao was also amused. The last time she had seen her husband's interaction with a kid of her friend, she had thought that he could be very caring towards a child. But this time, she had unexpectedly seen him reprimanding a child just because he had touched her ċhėst.

"What's wrong with it?" Zhang Yu Han paused to look at his wife and sighed. "When a kid did something wrong, of course, I should say something about it. To dismiss his wrongdoing just because he's a child is wrong. Of course, when a child did something good, he deserved praise and when he did something wrong, you have to tell him. Or else, how was he going to learn about what is right and what is wrong?"

Li Qin Yao thought that there was truth in his words. But she thought it was hilarious.

"Besides," Zhang Yu Han paused and lowered his gaze to look at her ċhėst. Because she was shorter than him, naturally, he was able to enjoy a great view when he peeked at what's under her neckline. "What's wrong with protecting what is mine?"

Seeing the grin on his face, Li Qin Yao quickly pulled at her collar. Then she looked at her husband with her eyes narrowed dangerously.

They were still out in the public. Can he not act so lecherous?

"How are these yours?" Li Qin Yao asked. She hugged her body tightly. "They are obviously mine."

A thought suddenly came to her mind and Li Qin Yao suddenly wondered how he was going to react if they had a child someday. Will he scold his son or daughter because of the same reason?

A chuckle escaped him. Zhang Yu Han extended his hand to pinch at her nose lightly. "Qin Yao, we are already married. Of course, what's yours is also mine. And what's mine… is also yours."

Li Qin Yao watched him speechlessly. Seeing the way he was staring at her suggestively, Li Qin Yao felt her face heat up and decided to ignore him.

The two of them reached their car and Zhang Yu Han helped her into the passenger seat before he slid into the driver's seat. He turned on the ignition and started to drive back home. 

As they reached an intersection and stopped at the red light, Li Qin Yao was suddenly reminded of something that Lu Xun had given her husband. "What did your friend gave you earlier?"

When Li Qin Yao was chatting with Lu An Ran as they had their lunch, she had seen that Lu Xun had handed a brown A4 envelope to him. Though she was curious, Li Qin Yao did not want to ask in Lu Xun's presence.

Zhang Yu Han twisted his body to take the brown envelope from the backseat and handed it to his wife. "It's a wedding gift from Lu Xun. You should help me to keep them."

Li Qin Yao raised a brow. She took out the documents in the brown envelope and her eyes widened at the sight of a property deed in her hand. Though she did not know much about the property in Country C, based on the location and the area, Li Qin Yao could tell that it was an expensive gift.

"This… is a wedding gift?" Li Qin Yao turned to her husband with a surprised expression. She saw him nodded and a gasp escaped her. "Isn't this is too generous? Is it alright to accept this?"

"It's fine," Zhang Yu Han said. The light turned green and Zhang Yu Han continued to drive. "Since he was generous enough to give us this land, of course, we should not reject his kind intention."

Li Qin Yao continued to stare at the documents and thought that a property deed was a bit too much to accept. 

"If you don't feel good about it, later when Lu Xun gets married, I'll give him a generous gift as well." Zhang Yu Han chuckled. Of course, they will have to wait until Lu Xun had found someone he wanted to marry first. 

For as long as he had known Lu Xun, Zhang Yu Han had seen him going out with a few ladies, but none of them was someone he wanted to marry. 

Seeing that her husband's relationship with his friend was good enough for them to give to such expensive things, of course she was not going to say anything. Anyway, she had suddenly become a wealthier person after marrying Zhang Yu Han.

"Qin Yao," Liu Hui Lan greeted. "Did you have fun going out with Yu Han?"

"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded. "It was crowded outside, but it was pretty interesting to look at the lively decoration in town."

"You took a few days of break to come over and visit us in Country C, but mom and dad did not spend enough time with you," Liu Hui Lan let out a sigh in regret. "Time flies and the two of you will be catching your flight tomorrow."

Previously, Zhang Xi and his wife had returned to their home country earlier than planned to see their daughter-in-law. Now that they have returned to Country C, the two of them had to return to the office and catch up with their work.

"It's fine. Anyway, Yu Han has been a great tour guide these past few days," Li Qin Yao said. "Later, when we come back to visit you again, we can spend a lot of time together. I will ask Yu Han to pick a date when mom and dad are not too busy."

Hearing that her daughter-in-law was planning to come over and visit them again, Liu Hui Lan had a wide smile on her face. "Of course. Qin Yao, you have to come over and visit us again."

Liu Hui Lan's gaze went towards her son who was busy carrying a few bags from the car. "Are you going to your aunt's place tonight?" She had suddenly recalled that the couple had planned to visit Li Qin Yao's aunt who was also living in Country C that night.

"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded again. "My aunt also invited both you and dad to come. Why don't we go together?"

"Mom and dad are too tired after staying at the office," Liu Hui Lan said. "You two should go and join the party and have fun."
