Chapter 312 - Wanting My Wife to Spoil Me

The couple arrived at Lin's residence and found that the place was lively with people.

Seeing a familiar face walked into the house, Li Chun's face brightened up. She walked over to her niece and pulled her into a tight hug. "Yao Yao, you made it." She then turned to the tall man beside her niece and smiled. "Hello! Merry Christmas!" she then peeked at behind the couple's and retreated her gaze. "Your parents did not come over with you as well?

"My parents couldn't make it. At this time of the year, the hotel is a bit busy."Zhang Yu Han said as he handed the paper bags in his hand.

"You brought something for us?" Li Chun was surprised upon receiving the gifts. She thanked the couple for their gift and ushered them in.

"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded. "We bought some souvenir from Country H as well."

It was then that Li Chun recalled that the two of them were visiting Country H for their honeymoon. "How was your vacation in Country H?"

Li Qin Yao smiled as she glanced at her husband. "It was fun. The beach was very pretty."

Seeing the way the newlywed couple was looking at each other, Li Chun felt a lot more at ease. Li Qin Yao was the niece that she had looked after when she was still a baby. Of course, Li Chun cared for and loved Li Qin Yao a bit more.

"Though we say that this is a Christmas party, it was more of your uncle wanting to treat students from our homeland for a meal," Li Chun said as she glanced at her husband who was in the middle of a conversation with a student who studied around the university in the city.

Li Qin Yao looked around. The decoration was colorful and the atmosphere was lively. There were a lot of young men and women around the place mingling with each other. Some of the students came to the party to enjoy free, delicious food and some were using this chance to find themselves a boyfriend or girlfriend.

Among the students, there were also a few elderly who Li Qin Yao guessed that they should be her uncle's guests. She had wanted to go over and greeted her uncle, but once she saw that her uncle was in a deep conversation, Li Qin Yao hesitated.

"Don't mind your uncle," Li Chun said when she saw the expression on her niece's face. "It would not be easy to stop him once he was engrossed in a discussion. I'll tell him later that you come over if you did not have the chance to greet him later."

Hearing her auntie's words, Li Qin Yao was relieved.

Li Chun then turned her head to a direction and frowned when she caught the sight of her son. "Lin Nan Feng you come over here for a while."

The teenage boy looked up from his phone and grunted when he saw a few familiar faces around his mother.

"Come. Say hello to your cousin."

Lin Nan Feng exhaled loudly before he obediently greeted Li Qin Yao and her husband.

"Help mom to take this into my room," Li Chun said as she passed the paper bags in her hand to her son. "Your cousin bought you a present too. What do you say to her?"

The teenage boy looked at his mother with a dissatisfied look on his face as he was being treated like a little boy. He then turned to the newlywed couple again and nodded. "Thank you, cousin."

Li Qin Yao smiled. From Lin Nan Feng's expression, she could detect that the teenage boy just wanted to be left alone with his mobile phone. He was probably forced by his parents to come down and enjoy the lively party.

Seeing that his son had turned around with the paper bags, Li Chun then led the couple towards the buffet table. "You two go and make yourself comfortable. I have to go and check with the cook to top up some food."

Li Qin Yao nodded. She grabbed a plate and turned to her husband. "What do you want to eat?"

Zhang Yu Han glanced at the food on the table. "Anything is fine. Let's just share."

"You're not hungry?" Li Qin Yao raised a brow.

His lips curled into a smile as he leaned forward to whisper, "I just want my wife to spoil me. Qin Yao, you feed me."

As she was feeding Zhang Yu Han a sliced chicken, Li Chun suddenly came to approach them.

"Yao Yao!" Li Chun paused momentarily before a wide smile curled on her lips. "It's good to see that you two had a good relationship." She let out a soft sighed and continued, "Ah... Young love. Now I'm envious."

Li Qin Yao lowered her head when she felt the heat crept up to her face. She glanced at her husband and saw the smug look on his expression.

Li Chun laughed before she turned to Zhang Yu Han. "Yu Han, do you mind if I steal your wife for a while?" She then turned to her niece. "I have something to give you."

"Sure." Zhang Yu Han nodded before he turned to his wife to take the plate of food from her. "You go ahead. I'll wait for you here."

"Oh." Li Qin Yao stood up and paused when she felt her husband tugging at her hand.

"Please keep your phone close to you," Zhang Yu Han reminded.

Knowing that her husband was worried, Li Qin Yao gave him an ȧssuring smile. "I know. You wait for me here."

Li Qin Yao glanced one more time at her husband before she followed after her auntie to her room. Once she entered, Li Chun waved her hand, motioning her to come closer before her aunt handed her an envelope.

At this time, Li Qin Yao thought that she had seen too many A4 sized envelope in one day. "Little Auntie, what is this?"

"Share transfer agreement," Li Chun smiled upon seeing her niece's confused expression. "This is for you."

Li Qin Yao looked at the documents inside and quickly shoved them back to her auntie.

"Just take it," Li Chun said. "I gave it a long thought. You know that I planned to follow your uncle to stay here. Since I don't have a plan to return to QL Group, I'm giving you my shares."

"No. Little Auntie, you still have your son. What about Nan Feng?"

"Nan Feng had his portion," Li Chun chuckled. "Besides, he had no intention to work with QL Group. Giving him such a large share would be a waste. Therefore, we decided to give this to you. Yao Yao... just think of this as your wedding gift."
