Chapter 317 - Accompany Zhang Jing for Check-Up

Because Li Qin Yao had offered to accompany Zhang Jing for his check-up, she had told Liang Sheng that she will be taking a half-day off.

Seeing that she did not have to get up early, Li Qin Yao decided to sleep in for a while. After all, she has been quite busy with her work recently. But who would know that the person who was hugging her would not let her rest peacefully and his hand continued to explore on her body?

"I'm sleepy. Let me sleep a while longer."

Zhang Yu Han stopped to look at the person underneath him. As their gaze met, Li Qin Yao was not surprised to see the way he was staring back at her. His eyes were darkened with wanting for her. 

Just as Li Qin Yao avoided his gaze, her eyes then saw the way his throat was moving as he swallowed.

"Qin Yao," his voice was a little bit husky. He kissed her softly around her ear and spoke, "Just once, alright?"

Li Qin Yao let out a whimpering sound. It was not fair! He knew that she was weak against his voice and he dared to ask her such questions like this.

Seeing that his wife did not answer, Zhang Yu Han planted a few more kisses on her face before he retreated to look at her. "Alright?"

His voice coupled with the way he looked at her was making her resolve to crumble. Li Qin Yao looked at him hesitantly and said, "Just once."

With her permission, a faint, but glowing smile curled on his lips before he lowered to kiss her again.

By the time she woke up again, her husband was already gone. Li Qin Yao turned off the alarm and rubbed at her eyes before she looked at the time.

Although she wanted to go back to sleep, at the reminder that she had promised to accompany Zhang Jing for his check-up, Li Qin Yao then forced herself to wake up and dragged herself to the bathroom, feeling sore all over her body.

A hint of disappointment hit her when she saw the spotting on her undėrwėȧr. Although it has not been too long since they decided to have a baby, Li Qin Yao was looking forward to it. Therefore, at the thought that her period has come again, she could not help but be disheartened.

Grabbing a pad on the shelf, Li Qin Yao then continued to wash up her body while cursing at her husband at the aching on her body.

When Li Qin Yao arrived at the hospital, Zhang Jing and Assistant Huo were already waiting in the waiting area. From afar, Li Qin Yao could see that the two men were arguing on something. At this sight, Li Qin Yao was suddenly reminded of the time she ran into the two of them at some restaurant.

Zhang Jing quickly waved his hand away. "Not at all. We have just arrived as well." He then patted at the seat beside him and motioned her to sit down.

At this time, Assistant Huo stepped forward. "I have already helped Chairman Li to fill in the forms. Since you're here, I will inform Doctor Xia that Chairman Li is ready for his consultation." Once he saw the elderly man nodded, Assistant Huo quickly made his move and disappeared before he was going to get another round of scolding.

"Grandfather, how are you feeling?" Li Qin Yao asked as she placed her bag beside her. 

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me too much. This is just a regular checkup," Zhang Jing said. "You see how fierce your husband is when he was monitoring my diet. Of course, the result will come out well. I have never got a bad result ever since Yu Han lives around me."

Li Qin Yao laughed as she was reminded of how Zhang Yu Han was always strict on monitoring Zhang Jing's diet. When he was around, Zhang Jing would suddenly cower and listened to him. Therefore, whenever they eat together, Zhang Jing would often send a distressed signal at his granddaughter-in-law to persuade her husband into letting him eat more.

Anyway, at this time, the only person who can coax Zhang Yu Han into changing his mind was no other than Li Qin Yao.

"Really?" A thought suddenly resurfaced and Li Qin Yao was starting to doubt the elderly man's words. "Grandfather, I seemed to recall that the last time I ran into you at this hospital, you were warded for a night because your result was not that good, right?"

"Alright," Li Qin Yao nodded, knowing Zhang Jing's intention. "But first, we shall see your result and listen to what Doctor Xia was going to tell you."
