Chapter 337 - Leave Everything to Fate

When Zhang Yu Han arrived home with his parents, both Li Qin Yao and Zhang Yu Ying were still having a heart to heart talk in the garden. As they heard Auntie Wu's lively voice, Zhang Yu Ying put a finger on her lips, signaling Li Qin Yao not to say a word regarding the topic they had discussed. 

Zhang Yu Ying saw the smile on her sister-in-law's face and knew that she had agreed to keep their conversation a secret.

After chatting with Li Qin Yao for a bit, Zhang Yu Ying thought that her head and heart felt lighter.

Regarding Wei Jun Hao's situation, Zhang Yu Ying had made her decision to leave everything to fate. 

Although she now found that she had liked Wei Jun Hao a little bit, Zhang Yu Ying was not very confident in her feeling. Previously, she had told Wei Jun Hao that she will agree to date him if he won the basketball match against her brother. Zhang Yu Ying had little confidence that Wei Jun Hao was going to win and was a little regretful that she had proposed that condition. However, if he wins, then, wouldn't that mean that they are fated to be together?

Of course, Zhang Yu Ying had no idea that Wei Jun Hao had sought her sister-in-law to help him win that match.

The two of them went to the door to greet both Zhang Xi and Liu Hui Lan. Because of the two arrived, the house has now turned a bit livelier.

As Auntie Wu helped both Zhang Xi and Lui Hui Lan with their luggage, Zhang Yu Ying went to her mother and gave her a tight hug and acted coquettishly with her mother. It was until her mother had told her that she had brought home the things that she had requested that Zhang Yu Ying was willing to stop pestering her mother.

Looking at the paper bag that her mother had passed to her, Zhang Yu Ying then took out her favorite chocolate bar and started to eat with a gleeful expression. Previously, when she was staying in Country C, this was her favorite.

Li Qin Yao was watching her sister-in-law speechlessly. It was not long ago that Zhang Yu Ying was acting crazy and miserable once she had sorted out her feelings. Now that she had a bar of chocolate on her hand, it seemed as if she had forgotten whatever was on her mind.

Sensing her sister-in-law's intense gaze, Zhang Yu Ying paused after taking a bite at the chocolate. Somehow, she had a feeling as if she was committing a crime if she continued to eat the chocolate in her hand.

"Sister-in-law," Zhang Yu Ying hesitated. "Would you like some?" she offered the half bitten chocolate in her hand.

Liu Hui Lan who overheard her daughter's question suddenly recalled that she had brought some gift for her daughter-in-law as well. "Qin Yao, I bought some chocolate for you too," Lui Hui Lan said as she passed her another paper bag.

Li Qin Yao lowered her gaze before she took the paper bag and thanked her mother-in-law. After staring at how Zhang Yu Ying was enjoying the chocolate bar, Li Qin Yao suddenly realized that she was a little bit hungry.

"Are you hungry?" Zhang Yu Han went over to his wife and whispered. Knowing that his wife was now eating for two, he was unwilling to let her go hungry. Eating a bar of chocolate will not help her to satisfy her hunger. "I'll find something for you to eat."

Her eyes sparkled and Li Qin Yao quickly nodded. Soon, Zhang Yu Han snuck into the kitchen and brought out a plate of fruits that Auntie Wu had cut earlier. As his parents were busy sorting out their luggage with Auntie Wu's help, Zhang Yu Han pulled his wife to the sofa and started to feed her.

Zhang Yu Ying, who was watching her brother, sneered. It was as she had said earlier, her brother was someone who would not stop sticking to his wife. Zhang Yu Ying initially did not mind watching this situation as the two were a newly married couple. However, her brother would often force everyone around him with dog food and this was what made her furious. They were truly an eyesore for a single dog like her.

"Zhang Yu Han," Li Qin Yao whispered when everyone was not looking at them. "When are we going to make this announcement?"

"Let's just keep this news for a while longer and tell them in the morning of New Year. This way, wouldn't it be more exciting?" Zhang Yu Han said. He stabbed at a honeydew with a fruit fork and feed his wife. "Anyway, I want to keep you to myself a while longer. Once we tell everyone this news, do you believe that mom and grandfather won't let me close to you?"

Li Qin Yao frowned at his words. "What are you talking about?" 

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle. He knew that once he announced the news, his family would be happy for them. They would then push him aside to surround his wife as she was now carrying a descendant for the Zhang family.

"Later, if you are too tired, don't have to force yourself to join everyone in the activity. Just tell me and I'll know what to do," Zhang Yu Han said.

"Will that be alright? This is the first time I'm celebrating New Year as your family's daughter-in-law."

"Why is it not alright?" Zhang Yu Han raised a brow. "Although you have just passed the first trimester, we should not be careless."

As the night came, the family had dinner together. The usually quiet residence was suddenly bursting with liveliness and everyone could see the joyous look in Zhang Jing's face.

This year, it seemed that the Zhang family will be celebrating the New Year with one more person. Seeing that his family members were all around him, Zhang Jing suddenly thought of his late wife and knew that she would be as happy if she was still alive.

Sensing Zhang Jing's mood, both Zhang Yu Han and his father decided to accompany him for a game of chess before he kicked them out to rest.

When Zhang Yu Han returned to their room, he was surprised upon seeing that his wife was not asleep, and instead, she was standing in front of the full-length mirror as she studied her stomach.

"Hubby!" Li Qin Yao's eyes sparkled upon seeing him. She then walked over to him with her phone in her hand. "Come here. Didn't you say that today is the beginning of the second trimester? Come and help me take a photo of my baby bump."

Hearing her words, Zhang Yu Han exhaled a breath he did not know he was holding.
