When the couple went downstairs, everyone except for Zhang Jing had gathered around. The atmosphere was lively with the sounds of everyone chatting and laughing.
At this time, Zhang Jing appeared with a joyous expression on his face. "Qin Yao, you're here. Come, let's have our meal together" he tugged at Li Qin Yao's hand and led her to the table.
Soon, the family sat down around the table and had their dinner. Because Auntie Wu had served their family for a long time, the family had asked her to sit and have a meal together. Anyway, eating together was livelier and fun.
The atmosphere was very boisterous. Seeing his family all gathered around him, Zhang Jing did not complain when his son placed more vegetarian dishes to his bowl.
As the family continued to chat and eat, Zhang Yu Han glanced at his wife and raised a brow.
Li Qin Yao saw the look on his face and knew that he was asking her opinion, whether she was ready for him to make an announcement. After sharing a silent conversation with him for a while, Li Qin Yao gave a gentle squeeze at his hand. By the end of their conversation, Zhang Yu Han had a wide smile on his face.
Zhang Xi, who happened to see the couple's silent exchanged scoffed. It was not difficult to see that his son was living a happy life after he had met the girl he has been looking for for years and had now married her. Anyone would be able to notice the smile that reached his eyes whenever he was looking at his wife, Li Qin Yao.

The last time they had seen Zhang Yu Han smiled this much was at his wedding.
"I do have some good news to share," Zhang Yu Han spoke after a brief silence.
Seeing that he had paused and did not continue his words, Zhang Yu Ying was annoyed. She turned to her sister-in-law and asked, "Sister-in-law... Do you know anything about this?"
Li Qin Yao lowered her head. Although she was ready to tell everyone, at this time, she was suddenly embarrassed as everyone was staring at her.

Zhang Yu Han turned to his wife and wrapped his arms around her shoulder. Then, he repeated the words he had just said. "The good news is... Qin Yao is pregnant. She is now in her second trimester."
Loud gasps were coming from everyone. Then, the congratulatory words echoed. Zhang Jing began to laugh happily upon hearing the news. He turned to his granddaughter-in-law and his eyes turned gentle.
Liu Hui Lan, the person who had experienced pregnancy twice had a worried look on her face. She turned to Auntie Wu and quickly told her to prepare some healthy soup to nourish her daughter-in-law's body.
Suddenly, Zhang Jing looked at his grandson and frowned. "You brat, how long did you two find out? Why didn't you share this news earlier?"
Hearing her father-in-law's question, Liu Hui Lan grew anxious. "Yes, why didn't you tell us earlier? And you still let your wife stayed in the kitchen for a long time to help me. You know that she shouldn't be standing around for too long. What if something happens to my grandchild?"
Facing his mother's scold, Zhang Yu Han could only turn to his wife with a helpless gaze. However, he knew earlier that he will have to face his family's anger for keeping this matter a secret.
Now that everyone knew that the couple was expecting a child, Liu Hui Lan began to ask Li Qin Yao a few questions regarding her pregnancy. After she looked at her daughter-in-law properly, Liu Hui Lan began to notice the small bump on her stomach.
When Liu Hui Lan brought the subject of her morning sickness, Li Qin Yao glanced at her husband and laughed.
"Mom, you don't have to worry," Li Qin Yao said to Liu Hui Lan. "My morning sickness was not so bad. Actually, after two weeks, my morning sickness disappeared."
"Ah?" Liu Hui Lan stared at her daughter-in-law with her eyes wide. "Disappeared?"
"Un," Li Qin Yao nodded. She glanced at Zhang Yu Han and spoke. "Actually... it was Yu Han who goes through the morning sickness for me. The doctor said it was something called Couvade Syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy."
Li Qin Yao always thought that it was amusing that her husband was the one who had to undergo the morning sickness and therefore, she was happy to talk about this matter. It felt as if her husband was willing to share the difficulties of being pregnant. Although she found it funny the first time she learned about it, Li Qin Yao thought that her husband was an amazing person. How many women can say that their partner has gone through morning sickness in their stead?
Zhang Yu Ying saw that the others understood what was going on, but no one explained to her what was it about her brother and morning sickness. She then turned to Auntie Wu and asked about this strange syndrome. After she finally understood what was going on, Zhang Yu Ying's mouth widened as she stared at her brother.
"Who would know that a man can experience morning sickness too? Brother, you're awesome. My respect to you has increased," Zhang Yu Ying said. She gave two thumbs up and looked at her brother with admiration. "If you can experience labor pain and give birth, that would be even better."
Hearing his sister's words, Zhang Yu Han's face turned dark.
