Chapter 368 - He Would be a Valuable Asset

The head of Qi family, Qi Xi Feng arrived at the residence along with his grandson, Qi Ming Wei. The moment he stepped into the house, Zhang Jing went over to greet him politely. However, Qi Xi Feng could not miss his brother-in-law's proud smile.

"Are you that happy?" Qi Xi Feng's face darkened upon seeing Zhang Jing's happy one.

"I have a great-granddaughter. How can I not be happy?" Zhang Jing laughed. 

Qi Xi Feng clicked his tongue before he glanced ad his two grandsons, Qi Ming Wei and Qi Zheng. Qi Ming Wei was a few years older than Zhang Yu Han, while Qi Zheng was the same age. However, the two of them had not brought back a girl to introduce to him. 

"Brother-in-law, you need to ask your grandson to work hard into luring a girl to become your granddaughter-in-law," Zhang Jing said.

Upon hearing Zhang Jing's words, Qi Xi Feng turned to Qi Ming Wei again and shook his head disapprovingly. "You look at Zhang Yu Han. He is now a father. When are you planning to bring home a girl?"

Qi Ming Wei could only sigh. He was busy with work. When did he have time to date or meet any girl?

Zhang Jing's smile widened upon seeing his brother-in-law's sullen face. Satisfied that he had his chance to brag, Zhang Jing then called his granddaughter-in-law over and Li Qin Yao brought her daughter over to show to Qi Xi Feng.

Upon seeing the little girl's face, Qi Xi Feng's anger towards his grandson disappeared. Looking at the adorable girl, he was suddenly reminded of his late little sister. If she was still alive, she would be happy to look at this adorable princess as well.

Zhang Li Xue stared at her old man without an expression on her face even though she could not see a thing at her age.

Qi Xi Feng nodded as he stared at Zhang's little princess. "Adorable. Looking at her face, she really resembled her father. Little girl, what is your name?"

"I named her Li Xue. Zhang Li Xue," Zhang Jing said proudly.

Qi Xi Feng had a smile on his face. Although he was still upset that his brother-in-law had now become a great-grandfather, Qi Xi Feng could not get angry at the sight of the little princess. After playing with the little girl for a while, Qi Xi Feng then took out his red packet and signaled Qi Ming Wei to hand the gifts for the newborn.

"Are you tired?" Zhang Yu Han asked his wife as he watched his grandfather and granduncle walked into the house.

Li Qin Yao shook her head. "I'm not tired. But your daughter should want to sleep anytime soon."

"Let me take her. Your hands would get tired if you carry her for too long," Zhang Yu Han said.

"En," Li Qin Yao nodded. "Then, I'll go and drink something first."

Zhang Yu Han took his daughter from his wife and kissed the little girl on her cheek. After drinking her mother's milk for a month, his little princess had gained some weight, and her chubby cheek was prominent.

Sensing that she was no longer in her mother's embrace, the little princess started to gurgle and moved both her hands and feet as if complaining that she was now in her father's arms.

Hearing her cute baby talk, everyone started to gather around her again and Li Qin Yao used this chance to enter the kitchen and drink to moisten her throat.

While leaning on the wall to support herself, Li Qin Yao looked around the room where her family and friends had gathered. Even Han Yue Xiu had shown up with Song Yi.

"Grandfather," Li Qin Yao smiled. 

Li Ren Xin held on her granddaughter's hand and patted it slowly. Seeing that the head of Qi family had come over to his great-granddaughter's full moon celebration, Li Ren Xin could figure out how much Zhang Yu Han and his family valued both Li Qin Yao and her daughter.

"The Tourism Project in B City has now entered its third phase," Li Ren Xin spoke. "Earlier today, both your cousin Mu Bai and I had visited the site. Liang Sheng had taken us on a short tour. It seemed that the city will be completed as scheduled. Yao Yao, you have done a great job this time."

"I did not do anything much," Li Qin Yao said. "Grandfather, without you ȧssigning Liang Sheng to ȧssist me this time, the project in B City would not go as smooth. He had helped me to oversee the project for months."

Li Ren Xin laughed. "Assistant Liang had really taught his son well."

"Hmm," Li Qin Yao nodded. 

Truthfully, she did not know how she was able to do well in this project without Liang Sheng's ȧssistance. Liang Sheng was a fast learner and very capable. While she was on maternity leave, Liang Sheng was the one who helped to oversee the project.

"Grandfather, when this project is finished, you should consider giving Liang Sheng more chance," Li Qin Yao said. "I believe that he will be a good help for QL Group."

Li Ren Xin turned his gaze at where Liang Sheng and a few staff from QL Group's B City's branch had gathered. He had seen how the bespectacled man did his job and hearing his granddaughter's praise, Li Ren Xin knew that Liang Sheng would be a valuable ȧsset for QL Group after a few more years of training. 

"Since you have praised Liang Sheng that much, then you should rest more," Li Ren Xin said. "Recuperate well at home and let Liang Sheng handle the project."

"What are you planning to do after the project in B City is completed?" Li Mu Bai asked.

"I haven't decided. But I won't be returning to Capital City," she said. "I have told you before. I planned to follow my husband. Wherever he goes to, that is where I'm going to be."

Li Mu Bai's expression changed upon hearing her words. "Yao Yao, are you… planning on quitting after the project in B City is completed?"

Previously, Zhang Jing had asked her the same question. Anyway, since she now had a child, Zhang Jing had thought that perhaps she would want to focus on raising her child.

Although she had told him that she had not made any decision, Zhang Jing then offered to come and work for Zhang Group if she wanted to continue to work after the project was completed.

Li Qin Yao looked at her cousin and smiled. "I haven't think about what I wanted to do next. At this time, I am planning to focus on the project in B City first. You know how it is. My husband and his friends invested a lot of money on this project. Since I am now married to Zhang Yu Han, his money is also my money. I cannot let this project fail," she joked.
