Chapter 378 - QL Group Would be Facing a Great Crisis!

Later, Liang Sheng, Xiao Lian Yi, and Zhang Yu Han brothers came over to wait for the investigation report. Looking at the lively atmosphere, no one would have guessed that they were facing trouble.

Li Qin Yao went over to chatted with Mo Cheng Feng and was grateful that their company had no intention to pull out their investment in the amusement park. 

"You are Cheng Yi and Yun Xi's good friend. Of course, we will stay by your side and help with whatever we can. Previously, you have helped MH Group when we were facing our trouble," Mo Cheng Feng said. "This time, it is our turn to help you."

With the major investors voiced out that they were going to stay and had no intention to pull out their investment, the news then reported the investors' confidence in the project, and the netizen's criticism was suppressed for the moment. 

Around noon, someone from the police station came over to give them an early report on the accident before the authorities will give their statement. 

Once Li Qin Yao saw the report, her face immediately turned white.

The reason for this incident was no other than the use of cheap materials in the construction. Li Qin Yao's head went blank upon seeing the reason for the accident appearing for the second time.

With this report, the others would soon believe that she was someone who would disregard others' safety by using the materials. Even when she had cleared her name with the previous incident, the others will believe that she was guilty of the two incidents. Even if she managed to clear her name again, Li Qin Yao was sure that no one would trust her or wanted to work with her again.

Seeing her wife's expression, Zhang Yu Han wrapped his arms around her shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. 

"This is only the investigation report from the authorities," Zhang Yu Han spoke. "Soon, Qi Ming Wei will come over with their report as well."

Li Qin Yao closed her eyes and nodded. Then she lifted her head to look at everyone and her gaze finally stopped at her grandfather. Li Qin Yao saw the angry look on his face and walked over to him.

"Yao Yao, who was the company that provided the problematic materials?" Li Ren Xin asked. "We have to let someone investigate them. This matter is definitely their fault! There was no way that we would order some cheap materials, but they had the gall to sent such materials to us! Which one was the company that was responsible to provide the materials?" Li Ren Xin asked angrily.

Liang Sheng lowered his gaze as he thought over the question. He went over to read the report and looked up. "Chairman Li, the company that provided the materials is WS Group."

"Then call them over and demand an explanation!" Li Ren Xin spoke.

"Yes, Chairman Li," Liang Sheng nodded.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yu Han's expression changed upon hearing the name of the company. WS Group, was that not the company where his wife's ex worked?

Wei Jun Hao opened the live stream of the authorities' official statement. With the statement, the netizen started to criticize QL Group for using cheap materials and demanded that the person responsible to be investigated for bribery surfaced. 

Seeing the negative comments, Wei Jun Hao immediately turned off the live stream and went over to call his subordinates. Anyone who threw malicious comments before a proper investigation ended will be prosecuted without warning.

At this time, Qi Ming Wei arrived at the house with a few of his subordinates. He paused as he looked at the number of people inside and went over to Zhang Yu Han. 

"We have conducted an internal investigation," Qi Ming Wei spoke. He glanced at Li Qin Yao as took out a few paperwork from his file. "According to these documents, Mrs. Zhang, you are the one who gave the authorization to use the materials."

Li Qin Yao felt as if blood rushed up to her brain upon hearing what Qi Ming Wei had said. Suddenly, she was feeling dizzy and Zhang Yu Han caught her in time.

"Qin Yao would not do something like that," Zhang Yu Han narrowed his eyes as he looked at Qi Ming Wei. His tone was grave as he spoke.

"We have our utmost trust in Qin Yao," Zhang Jing spoke. 

"You asked me to investigate, and I'm telling you what my guys have found." 

"Then, what was with your accusation gaze?" Zhang Yu Han spoke.

"Hey, hey! Let's not get into a fight now," Qi Zheng stepped forward. "I'm sure that cousin Ming Wei did not do it on purpose."

Qi Ming Wei sighed as he rubbed the space between his eyebrow. "I'm sorry. It was my fault."

"Let me take a look," Li Qin Yao spoke as she grabbed the paper from Qi Ming Wei's hand. She studied the paper twice and looked up. This is not the documents that I signed. I have never approved of these materials." She then walked over to her grandfather and said, "Grandfather, look at this. Is this the documents that you have approved?"

Li Ren Xin took the document and put on his reading glasses. After a few seconds, his expression darkened. "This is not the document that I have signed! Your cousin, Li Mu Bai was there as well when I signed. He can be my witness."

The others exchanged their glances upon hearing what Chairman Li had spoken.

Because of the previous incident, Li Qin Yao had suggested to her grandfather before she took the project. That is, the order form would be invalid without the approval of either the Chairman or President. Before they submitted the last paperwork, it was Li Ren Xin who had checked and approved of the order. 

Therefore, now that Li Qin Yao was accused of using cheap materials, both Li Ren Xin and Li Mu Bai will have to be implicated as well. This time, it was no longer Li Qin Yao's problem alone, but QL Group would be facing a great crisis!

"Then, the problem lies with WS Group," Zhang Yu Han concluded. He looked at Liang Sheng and spoke, "Call the person in charge."

Almost half an hour later, the President of WS Group arrived with Mr. Huang, the person who was in charged of their project. Upon seeing the documents again, Mr. Huang immediately denied that he was the one who had changed the order.

Soon, a fight between the two companies started as none of them would admit that they were responsible for the incident.

Liang Sheng, who has been observing everything for a long time suddenly felt uneasy. The last time he went back to Capital City to meet Chairman Li, he was carrying these documents with him. He had seen that the Chairman had put down his signature and stamp to approve of the order. On that day, something happened to him. He was unconscious the whole night until the elderly janitor found him.

A thought crossed his mind and his face began to pale.
